Hello jims! Do you guys each of a number like Jim 1, Jim 2, ETC?

°Hello. CJ glances at the mattress again before looking back at you. Well at this point in our lives we go by CJ or RJ, it's just easier and more informative to go by the letter of your profession or interest followed by the J. We just use Jim for eachother or other family, really it's outside of realatives that anyone calls us by nicknames like that.°

°He pauses. Though with nicknames like Jim One and Jim Two it'd be perfect Halloween costume as Thing One and Thing Two. He smiles. Though if you're asking specifically if we're numbered? No, we are all just Jim and any nicknames we get along the way.°

*the kitten looks at both men as they slept. brothers? maybe. friends? yes. they snuggle in the nest and tries to sleep, but... Ottis felt something awake outside*

*It's probably a good thing they got a bit of sleep when they could, it had been almost four, and despite how much caffeine was in the both of them, they'd fallen asleep pretty quick. They slept, unaware of the world for a few hours before waking.*

°CJ was first, oddly enough, he was usually the one who slept in. He looks over at his brother and Snow Ears, pretty sure both are asleep, before slipping off of the couch and creeping over to his computer. He opens it up to a lock screen of a Mothman doodle RJ had done once on a birthday card, and logs in.°

°He should probably go back to sleep, or at least eat, but he's curious about something and has to check it first.°

°CJ nods, slipping over to an armchair and taking a throw blanket off of it. He arranges it so it looks like a little blanket nest on one side of the bed, warm and cozy looking. Hope you like it in here, this should be warm enough°

"Yeah, Jim's a bird, he's good at this."

°Caw caw, Jim. Anyway, bedtime you two°

*RJ gently scoops up the kitten and crosses the distance between the kitchen and living room, placing the kitten in the middle of the nest, before flopping more gently than he would have overwise onto the other side*

"I'm not sleeping, just resting a little so I can stay up longer."

°I am also totally going to lay down and not fall asleep.°

"Hilarious."

°I am peak comedy.°

*the sigh is tired, but fond*

"G'Night, Jim. Sweet dreams Snow Ears."

"Goodnight Jim, Snow Ears, both of you- sleep well."

*CJ snuggles down into the couch, a throw blanket over him too, RJ tugged his own blanket up, sighing softly.*

*Ottis- well, Snow Ears, ate happily. when he was done, he purred happily at their feet* meow meow! meow meow! *He thanks them, yawning*

"Aw, glad you liked it so much! Looks like it's time for you to sleep though"

°Time for everyone to sleep, technically.°

"Yeah, I can stay up while you-"

°Jim.°

"Hm?"

°All the doors are locked. I checked, double checked, triple checked. I can check the windows again, but we were both there when we were locking them. The matress is already on the floor, I'll be on the couch.°

"Hey wait, why do you have to go on the couch?"

°Because I want to, let me feel taller. We can offer you some pillows and or a little blanket nest Snow Ears?°

*Øțťī§* meow *he did like Snow Ears.* mew!

°CJ didn't miss the glitch in his camera, nor the odd distorted voice, but he doesn't comment. His one visible eye narrows slightly, however.°

"I think they like your name better, Jim."

*he could have sworn he heard something, but he's blaming it on how late it was*

*the intensity in their eyes was somewhat unnerving, not to mention it had actually heard what he said and acted on it. He glanced behind him through the 'window' (it was really just a rectangular hole that let him see the front door)*

"Hey Jim? Could you come here?"

°CJ slipped into the kitchen, looking inquisitive. Yeah?°

"...I think this cat actually figured out door knobs."

°I mean yeah, they did get in. What do you mean?°

"...I asked them if they wanted raw or cooked, said hop for cooked and sneeze for raw. Bean looked dead at me and hopped."

°...Guess they want cooked?°

"Well yeah I got /that/ part I dunno, I think I've been up for to long..? Everything feels off now."

°He pauses for a moment, then pulls out a pocket recorder and trains the view onto the kitten. Maybe, it is late after all... Might as well give the little one some meat for now.°

*a nod*

"Yeah- here. Hope it's good Bean."

*he puts the plate in front of the kitten. There's a medium sized burger patty on it now.*

°Is their name 'Bean' now?°

"I mean, unless you can think of something better?"

°Not really, are they ok with the name? If not I'm calling them Snow Ear°

"...Isn't that a fungus you liked in middle school or something?"

°...Not what I meant.°

*he pulls out what looks like a plastic saucer and moves to rinse his hands briefly before moving into the fridge. He's about to pull some meat out before a question pops into his head*

"Uh, raw or cooked tiny bean? Sneeze for raw and a small hop for cooked?"

*a little silly to ask a cat- but it had figured out doornobs, apparently.*

*at the mention of food, the kitten wiggled into the room* meow meow meow meow! meow meow meow meow! *he seems happy about food... and how did the cat get in?* meow! :3

"Oh no you're baby- don't worry yeah we got lots! I'm gonna go into the kitchen, Jim could you get the door real quick?"

*he makes a friendly "c'mon" gesture and starts slowly walking diagonally to the kitchen. Still moving but able to see both his brother and the kitten*

°...They've figured out doornobs, Jim. It's too late, the feline uprising is upon us. He goes to close the door anyway, smiling a little when he hears RJ snort behind him. He locks it, all the way. He could have sworn RJ had done the same- but maybe the night was getting to them both.°

*a balck kitten with white ears pops their head between a door* mew? *they're lost*

*RJ jumps a little before freezing, mostly because to him it looked like the door had opened by itself and his nerves were a little strung out still from a combination of recent events and coffee, but at the sight of the kitten his jaw goes slack for a moment. There's a kitten. In his house. He didn't lock the door.*

"H-hi there, where did you come from?"

°CJ at this point took notice, and stared wide eyed at the tiny black fluff of an animal in the doorway. He sets down his mug just to express how were they so tiny, how did they get here, who's lost baby is this???°

"No idea, but I should get the door soon- hey little guy, or gal, or pal, you like burger meat?"

*the house is covered in an assortment of bright Christmas lights and spotlight lamps fastened to any place they could fit. It's a chaotic hodgepodge of holiday decorations and last minute purchases at the store, though despite not looking very pleasant, it did its job: eradicating any shadows inside and around the house.*

*RJ is working on his third cup in a two hour period. It's black and is drank like a health potion in an RPG- it's not there to taste good. He's hoping that even as he sips the strong, caffeinated drink that he can convince CJ to put down his own black tea and sleep.*

*They'd submitted the footage a while back, hoping that it wasn't dismissed as fabrication. Not that something of that nature had happened to their recordings in years, but it still stung.*

*Jim Station would probably believe them, and even if it only showed up on old TVs that only got local channels, they were hoping the warning about what they had seen could get out there, where people could prepare themselves.*

*They still needed a plan, too. But honestly- what could either of them do against forces from another realm? Aside from that stunt they'd pulled in 2017, nothing they'd ever done had been remotely special, in the power-way, RJ thought his gingerbread houses were pretty cool in the normal way.*

1. Let’s say it’s 7.25pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.

2. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated.

3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.

4. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.

5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy who taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!

10. A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we’ll save at least one life.

11. Rather than sending jokes, please... contribute by forwarding this mail which can save a person’s life.

12. If this message comes around you... more than once… please don’t get irritated... You should instead, be happy that you have many friends who care about you & keeps reminding you how to deal with a Heart attack.
