Expoart #140.
(Stay tuned for new projects.)
Escher-Lance. Well, today marks the 100th post of my #expoart series. Since I've started this project of making some sort of design every day, there have been numerous times I've thought that I had exhausted all possible ideas, that I would just be doing repeats. And yet, every time, something new would spring forth. (Like the above drawing.) A lesson for me in not giving up, I suppose. There will be more to come. Thanks for looking, and have a good one.
Redesigning some packaging. Spray paint and pen.
Working on the most recent lesson for Main Title Design taught by Ash Thorp, the homework was to create a title sequence for a documentary about the Apollo missions. In the process, I came up with this title card. Not exactly the vibe I was going for, but it speaks to my glitchy, sci-fi, cyberpunk side.
Perhaps, if this were an Alien-esque horror movie, I could get away with it.

One thing I’m super excited about with this book is that instead of chapter titles, I created abstract ideograms that reflect the stage of the story/characters in that chapter. Hopefully as you’re reading, you feel how the chapter pairs with the image.
