A piece i composed for As Level music, played by my mother for my grandmothers 80th birthday, a few slip ups but so what. Not the best sound quality, I may upload a better one when I have time to patch things up properly! inspired by various early 20th century composers such as Vaughn-Williams and also Respighi -ish brief: free composition any helpful criticism welcome!
So my bro composed this piece recently, it's really beautiful... you have to turn up the volume because it's a really quiet recording! I drew the cover used for his birthday.
sketchbook time!
student committee meeting, and the roundabout at the bottom of my road
Wip! Another “draw again” meme… done with ArtFlow Studio which is quickly becoming my favourite over Autodesk Sketchbook pro…
[But I'm still looking for an android art app with decent select, copy-paste and fill features: PS is the only one that has select©/paste but no fill ugh and dont get me started on the brush limitation. Artflow has similar features to sketchbook but better, plus adjustment features! Significantly more/nicer brushes, better symmetry options, a smudge tool, layer effects (multiply etc), layer types (duplicate, insert photo), canvas size. I think the only ways sketchbook is better is the deviantart thing plus (slightly) more brush options (max/min size etc).]
So this is what I’ve been working on over the last couple of weeks, it’s intended to be a sculpture in the environment I’m making for my fmp. Might still tweak the octopus legs and crocodile tail a liiittle more but I’m basically done with the forms. I wanted it to be more obvious that the boobs of the octo character are kind of the ‘eyes’ of the octopus, but... I didnt really manage to make that happen. Once I’ve finished, I’ll upload it on sketchfab.
One of those characters that you discover as they're drawn. Apparently she's missing half a limb; that was fairly unexpected.
