what's your favorite piece of queer history that you know? if you don't know any off the top of your head: do you identify as any historical / "outdated" queer identities and how does it tie into your identity? (i.e. mspec lesbian or gay, transsexual, etc.)
how long have you known you were queer and / or how long have you actively identified as queer?
do you experience euphoria or dysphoria (either gender or atypical)? how does your (lack of) euphoria and / or dysphoria play into your identity?
how do you define love for yourself?
do you view yourself (identity, presentation, gender, etc.) as conforming or nonconforming? why?
is there a way you experience your identity and / or gender that you don't see a lot of people in the community talk about and / or acknowledge?
what's one thing you love about the queer and / or mogai communities?
what's something you reclaim for yourself? is it important to your identity, and why?
is there anything that's "strange" and / or "nonstandard" that gives you gender and / or atypical euphoria? if not: what's one of your favorite moments where you experienced gender and / or atypical euphoria?
have you come out to anyone as queer? anywhere; to your family, friends, online, etc.
what's one happy memory you have within the queer and / or mogai community?
what's one of your favorite pride flags?
is there any point in your queer journey and / or transition that you're excited for?
what types of relationships do you value? what are relationships to you?
is there anything you could and / or would compare your identity to in order to describe it to others? whether it be the feeling, your identity as a whole, concepts it connects to, etc.
are you aspec in any way? whether you are or aren't: how does (not) experiencing attraction relate to your identity and / or whatever you want to share about being aspec and / or allospec!
how has your life changed since you realized you were queer, if it has?
what are your transition goals, if any?
how do you think your (queer) identity has developed over the years?
do you express yourself and your identity through any art forms? i.e. writing, drawing, sculpting, flag making, dance, etc.
what’s your favorite piece of creative work representing / relating to queer identity?
what identities have you questioned and / or thought you were in the past that you aren't anymore?
has your figuring out of your queer identity been fairly easy and / or straightforward, or has it been difficult with lots of twists and turns?
do you feel like your (queer) identity is layered? is it vast? simple? small? large?
do you consider your identity to be contradictory? why or why not?
how do you present yourself, in relation to your (queer) identity?
what are some songs that you feel connect to and / or describe your identity?
how do you (or don't you) express your (queer) identity, online or in real life? if you don't, do you want to?
are you proud of yourself for making it this far? (i am :])
share whatever thoughts you have about anything! doesn't need to be queer or identity related!

[ ID: SVD-Mogai's FUCK MY JOB, I QUIT Coining Event /end ID]
So we're quitting our job on May 2nd, which is also our birthday. We wanted to do something to celebrate and always wanted to do a community coining event, so we thought doing a countdown to The Big Quit would be a fun thing to do. We will be participating ourself as well!
You can create terms of any sort unless the prompt specifies (only one does). However please mind our boundaries post and try not to coin terms that would fall under it - you can coin terms on the "we won't coin" list though as that is just stuff we are personally not capable of.
You can coin the full list, or only one - do what inspires you.
Please tag me in your entries so that I can reblog them!
This is generally meant to be a coining event, but if you wish to do something other than coining that also fits into the theme feel free.
April 23rd: A term related to something that brings you joy AND/OR an interest of yours.
April 24th: A term related to your favorite type of weather OR a weather phenomenon you find interesting.
April 25th: A miscellaneous identity term - a term that does not fit into a common "umbrella" of terms (check @miscellaneous-id for concepts that fit into this).
April 26th: A term related to wherever or whatever you consider "home".
April 27th: A term related to a song, album, or musical artist that means something personal to you.
April 28th: A term related to a memory that brings you an emotion of any sort, positive or negative.
April 29th: A liminive gender using either a photo you took OR a photo you feel personally connected to. (Example 1, Example 2)
April 30th: A term related to your culture or heritage. Bonus prompt: a term in a non-English language (Optional).
May 1st: A term related to a fashion style you wear OR would like to wear.
May 2nd: A term related to celebration, either generalized or a 'specific' type of celebration.
May 3rd: A term related to something you find important, either personally or generally.

[No image ID, sorry]
BlueRoseSymbous [Blue - Rose - Symbous]
A term under the -Symbous system related to blue roses, the aesthetics of the blue rose flower, and the floriography meaning of the blue rose, that being mystery.
Colours picked from an image of the flower.
@spy-cr4b @banana634 @radiomogai @accessibilitea
Curic
A gender connected to being the cure, of an existing disease or one from the past, future, or fiction. May be connected to SCP-049
[Image ID: A five stripe flag. The colors from top to bottom are dark red, light purplish blue, lavender, pink, and white. In the center is a lavender circle with a white symbol of a hand holding a sprout planted in dirt.]
AnemoneSymbous [Anemone - Symbous]
A term under the -Symbous system related to the Anemone flower, the aesthetics of the Anemone flower, and the floriography meaning of the Anemone flower, that being sorrow and pain.
Colours picked from images of the plant/flower. I tried to capture the range of colours within the Anemone flowers. If you'd like to make your own flag or request one of a specific colour, feel free to.

Sorry I just need to vent a little bit, not expecting anyone to read or interact I just need to scream into the void
Mgh my body ouchy…
We’re basically in constant pain but we feel like we’re not allowed to say we have chronic pain because it’s not debilitating or it rarely is and I don’t even know if we’ve always had it or anything and sometimes it’s not very significant
We usually feel like we’re not allowed to call ourself things unless we’re diagnosed or talking about it with really close people (i.e. plurality, autism, and a more than slight suspicion of NPD, PTSD, and some other things), like we barely even feel comfy even saying we’re anxious even though we are diagnosed because of what people assume and I feel like if we don’t outwardly seem to be something it means we’re not- and we don’t usually express our pain or any feeling really because of anxiety and we feel like because we’re not diagnosed with anything and haven’t even really told our doctor about it because we don’t feel like it’s bad enough to be chronic pain
Eugh…
[Image ID: A rectangular flag with 9 equally-sized horizontal stripes. The colors are dark red, dark desaturated red, greyish pink, pale pinkish grey, dark red, and reverse colors. In the middle of the flag is a dark red symbol. The base shape is a square with a vertical line through the middle. In the center is "HUИT" (the word hunt in all caps spelled with a reversed N).]
HUNTlexic/HUИTlexic
A term connected to stylizing the name of The Hunt from The Magnus Archives as ‘HUИT’ in a similar context as the way the title of the show Turn: Washington’s Spies is stylized as ‘TURИ’, with the letter written flipped to represent betrayal and turning coat/being a turncoat/traitor.
Colours are based off of my personal associations with The Hunt and violence.
Coined for 8/4 of Felidaety's coining event with the prompt of words and language.
@spy-cr4b @banana634 @radiomogai @accessibilitea @felidaety
Shit this posted early oops I can't undo I guess so it's here now? This was supposed to go in my queue and post on 8/4 eugh button do wrong thing :/
[Thank you accessibilitea for the image ID]
[Image ID: A 9 stripe flag. Every other stripe starting from the first forms a gradient from white to black, while the stripes in between from a gradient from light yellow to very dark gold.]
Aangelous [A (without)-Angel-Ous (possessing the qualities of)
A term connected to one who is supposed to be an angel, where one died but could not go to heaven for some reason, being trapped and changed and now unable to be a 'real' angel.
This can be a gender or species term, or even an orientation if you're feeling it like that.
Colours are based off of 'traditional'/'common' colours associated with angels/heaven fading into darker colours to symbolize the disconnect from one's formerly angelic nature and how it has been 'corrupted' or altered so one is not 'perfect' or 'correct' anymore.
[Thank you accessibilitea for the image ID]
