Hi my name is Jaye (they/them) and in Oct. 2024 my fiancée (they/them) and I moved in with my parents while we recovered financially after 18mos of financial hardship due to me unable to find a job and us both having poor mental health.
While I have now got a job, it starts in mid Jan. and our living situation has become increasingly toxic and abusive due to the actions of my mother who routinely disregards mine and my partners physical and mental needs. We both have autism and I also have both adhd and chronic pain issues which are worsening due to an inaccessible house that in addition to being extremely cluttered, has both a mould problem and a lack of central heating.
It was our initial plan to move out in March/April after we had earned enough to save for a deposit for ourselves but recent events have led to my mum now threatening to kick us out despite knowing we have nowhere else to go. It’s clear now that we need to move out asap to protect ourselves and restart the rest of our life together.
We are hoping to raise £2500 to cover a flat deposit, first month’s rent and gofundme’s own fees.

This campaign has stagnated and things are getting worse, it has not reached its halfway point at all and Shimaa is wanting to reach this goal by the 20th of this month. That is in TEN DAYS from this post (on 12/10/2024) to reach the goal by the exact date there needs to be about $20 sent each day in order to reach the goal by December 20th. Shimaa and her family live in a tent in Gaza, that is barely any protection from the elements and we are approaching winter, the weather is freezing, they need money in order for all of them to have blankets. I cannot stress enough how urgent this is. I don't want to make Shimaa wait a long time for things that she and her family needs, I hate telling her that no one has sent anything in days, and I can add more to the campaign sometime at a later date before the 20th. So if one person can send 20 a day up until the twentieth that could work, or 2 people donate 10, or 4 people donate 5. But it can only work with help from multiple people and the help has to keep coming. It's not a one and done situation. Please also remember the gfm has frozen currently those funds are not accesible the moment and the PayPal is the primary campaign right now. Over the last several days, Perm Paywalling creators such as Bergdorfverse, Leosims, AggressiveKitty & Cowbuild have done organized & illegal DMCA attacks/takedowns on my content & several other creators. Due to this & Tumblr's lack of knowledge of EA's Custom Content policies, my Tumblr & other's are at high risk of being DELETED.
I recommend all creators that if you have linked to the Vault or any other free sites with the creators listed above, to please REMOVE those links & photos to avoid having a copyright strike on your account. If not, you are also at risk of having your Tumblr PERMANENTLY REMOVED.
You are able to counter strike the UNLAWFUL strikes these creators have done since EA/The Sims OWN all CC created if listed as a .package for download. Therefore, these creators are abusing their lack of DMCA rights to try to prove a point. However, if you do counter strike, you have to provide legal name, address, email, etc. to creators who are known for DOXING. So, I do not recommend countering if you fear your personal information being leaked.
Now, I urge you all to please join a movement that Jake, (@simstwink) has started by making a petition to have EA finally enforce the rules & policies they made LAST YEAR. We wish to put an end to these toxic Perm Paywalling Creators and protect the creative community of content creators like myself and YOU.

There's been two earthquakes back to back in my country Turkey which is unprecedented in the whole world and it affected 10 cities in my country. One 7.8 magnitude and the other was 7.6 and it was devastating. 5434 people already died, officially. We don't have enough man power to face this crisis, the roads are blocked, there are still places no one reached yet after 35 hours!!
We are facing a 4th level alert state which includes an international call for help. Lots of people are still under the rubble, thousands out in the cold and in danger of dying from hypothermia.
