He died so young…

Does anyone here think Ringo deserves more RESPECT? Cause in most of the Beatles music videos, he literally does shit. John, George and Paul get to use their instruments, why can’t Ringo? I mean come on! He is forced to hold an umbrella and sit behind George with nothing to play with in “Help”. Also in Paperback Writer, he sits there still doing nothing and not getting to play his drums or even hold his drumsticks! Just in the background leaning towards a statue or sitting on ground.🥁
Please hashtag me #ringoneedsalittlemorerespect or if you like ;) leave a comment about your thoughts on one of the coolest drummers in the history of rock and roll.

“One of us might think of a song completely, and the other might just add a bit. Or we might write alternate lines. We never argue. If one of us says he doesn't like a bit, the other agrees. It just doesn't matter that much. I care about being a song writer, but I don't care passionately about each song.”
—Paul McCartney, 1966
“The way that Lennon and McCartney worked together wasn't the Rodgers-and-Hart kind of collaboration. It was more a question of one of them trying to write a song, getting stuck, and asking the other: 'I need a middle eight. What have you got?' They were both tunesmiths in their own right, and would help each other out as the need arose. ... But as they developed their art, each moved on to writing songs entirely on his own. Collaboration became rare, apart from the odd word or line; it was either a John Lennon song or a Paul McCartney song.”
—George Martin, All You Need Is Ears, 1979
“Paul and I made a deal when we were 15. There was never a legal deal between us, just a deal we made when we decided to write together that we put both our names on it, no matter what.”
-John Lennon
“We knew we were good. People used to say to us, 'Do you think John and you are good songwriters?' and I'd say— "Yeah it may sound conceited but it would be stupid of me to say 'No, I don't,' or 'Well, we're not bad' because we are good." Let's face it. If you were in my position, which was working with John Lennon, who was a great, great man — It's like that film 'Little Big Man.' He says, 'We wasn't just playing Indians, we was LIVIN' Indians.' And that's what it was. I wasn't just talking about it, I was living it. I was actually working with the great John Lennon, and he with me. It was very exciting.”
—Paul McCartney, 1988

Happy 45th belated birthday Dhani Harrison! ☀️
“ It’s funny, because music is one of those things it is natural to go into. You hear it so much growing up, it kind of permeates you and eventually you spew out some music of your own.” ~Dhani Harrison
“I guess I got lucky, because I got George Harrison! You know, it's good music, and I'm honored to be a part of his legacy. And also, we made so much music together, and spent so much time in the studio at my house in Friar Park, in Henley where I grew up. The studio was directly below my bedroom, so my floor has rattled my whole life. I would always go downstairs and just see what was going on. I remember the Traveling Wilburys there. So, I was very comfortable in the studio, and I kind of grew up learning how to produce and play. For me, it was facilitated very much by my dad, and we were best friends, so spending a lot of time in the studio with him was natural.” -NPR music interview, February 28, 2016
“My son looks more like George Harrison then I do.” -George Harrison
“Shortly after Dhani was born Ravi and Alla Rakha took the train over to visit us [George, Olivia and Dhani], and I picked them up at Reading. They came over to see the baby, and Ravi wrote a tune called ‘Dhani.’ The name 'Dhani’ actually came from my study of Indian music: from the scale of Sa-Ri-Ga-Ma-Pa-DHA-NI-Sa. So he wrote this song, and Alla Rahka played on one half of the tabla, the bayan.” - George Harrison, Raga Mala (1997) -source from Harrison Archive ***
I apologize for forgetting your birthday Dhani, please forgive me. I had no time to make you this but I decided to give you a late birthday message, have a amazing belated birthday and thank you for everything that you do. By the way, you still look exactly like your father, George Harrison ☀️🕊️🎸🙏 and that’s awesome!
Peace and love Dhani😎✌️☮️❤️✨🌈🌻⭐️
