“You don't get bored of stories. None of us, as human beings, we just—we never get bored of stories. And I get to tell stories. And each story is new and different, so it's a continuously renewing thing. And hopefully you are constantly getting better at your corner of the storytelling process, and you can—with each new challenge, you sort of have to find a new sort of corner of yourself. And it keeps being difficult, and it keeps being challenging, and it keeps being exciting. And fun as well, if I'm absolutely honest.” — DAVID TENNANT (born April 18, 1971)
"I think that I'm always influenced and inspired by the darker side of things. I don't write too many happy songs."

Devotional Dave… Love !
one of my favorite depeche mode related stories is that one from the late 90s where dave was showing martin one of his songs and martin was so fucking wasted he just said "that's great dave!" and immediately proceeded to run down a flight of stairs and puke all over the floor before passing out

NME, 19-26 December 1992
This is Suede’s second NME front cover, with Brett posing as Sid Vicious. Their first NME front cover (of 5 September 1992) and the accompanying interview were scanned and posted on tumblr years ago, so I won’t be doing it all over again. It can be found in my archive, reblogged on 4 Jan. 2019, if anyone’s interested.
Anyway, here we have Brett with Toni Halliday of The Curve and Jim Bob of Carter USM discussing 1992′s single releases from The Levellers, PJ Harvey, Sinead O’Connor, Madonna, Manic Street Preachers, The Orb, The Shamen, Morrissey, Happy Mondays, and a handful of other acts hardly anyone remembers nowadays…
