SO I HAVNT POSTED ANY ART IN A LONG TIME- AND I AINT GUNNA LIE, ITS CAUSE IVE BEEN DOING NOTHING BUT PLAYING POKEMON SUN

BUUUUUUT IVE DECIDED TO DO INKTOBER THIS YEAR SO ILL BE POSTING LIKE EVERY GODDAMN DAY, YOURE WELCOME

SO I DECIDED TO POST THE VERY FEW UNPOLISHED DOODLES IVE MADE INBETWEEN TODAY AND MY LAST POST

God he was so emotional in this episode I was thought he might cry, but I’m kinda glad he didn’t One of my favorite things about Osomatsu San is that the drama in the show relies heavily on visual cues and subtext It’s honestly one of my biggest cinematic pet peeves when a show outright says what a character is thinking- because the point f a visual story is to convey it visually And that is one of the greatest strengths of Osomatsu San as a show, that and it’s characterization is fantastic Other characters in the show have been known to cry, and it’s impactful when they do And I thought for the longest time it would be so cool to see Oso cry But the show has taught me that that’s not who he is, he doesn’t cry under pressure, he just shuts down And yet, knowing that him, when he sits there on that bench, loosing his mind, it’s some how a thousand times more unnerving than it could’ve ever been if he had cried

I ended up penning it and honestly it looks much better

the idea of these three going on adventures for cryptids has always been so cute to me

its such a random group of chacters

my guess is that staff chose jyushi and hatabou cause they were like “ok, who would be stupid enough to actually listen to iyami...?”
