My first Zelda game was wind waker hd on the wii u console that came with the game. I lived and BREATHED that ost. So to hear my 2nd favourite track honoured in that way was phenomenal. I had thought it’s homage in rito village would be it but the entire build up to the boss fight plus the theme in that moment? It was like I was a little kid playing my first Zelda again.

my favorite Zelda ost is Skyward Sword. I love orchestral music in general, and this game satisfies all my orchestral cravings. it’s so beautiful :D

this is basically the first song in the game, it plays as the camera pans to skyloft between Link and Zelda’s loftwings. it’s a bombastic, beautiful version of Crimson Loftwing (one of my fav Zelda songs) and then includes a bit of Zelda singing Ballad of the Goddess at the end. :D

Blue can be Flyn Rider and Vio can be Pascal and Green can be Maximus. Dunno who Red would be still thinking about it.

Rather than being sundrop powers, he can still have healing powers but is tied to the moon instead and can’t go out in light at all which is why he never left before. Still has the 50 foot hair btw. Cause I’m a sucker for long hair Shadow and find it funny to watch him suffer with it.

I had a dream last night where Blue adopted a kid that he found lost out in the woods that turns out to have a whole bunch of shadow powers and magic and stuff and he’s like “huh, that’s weird. Did I adopt a reborn Shadow???” (Cause the kids appearance and age line up with when Shadow died)

And he spends a little while getting used to having this kid in his house and trying to introduce the other Links to him but they never have time.

He even named the kid… I forget the actual name but it translates to “shadow” or “little dreamer” or something. Cause he does recognize he’s a different person even if he is raising him with Shadow in mind on a lot of this stuff.

He even goes to one of those new parents things (kid’s like… 6-or-7 but still) to learn how tf he’s supposed to parent, and asks his father (who is hella suspicious but happy to talk about it) for advice.

Then Shadow is successfully brought back by Vio and Vio finally goes over to visit Blue like “hey sorry this is why I was so busy but Shadow’s back.” and Blue’s just like “…what?”

And then Vio and Shadow are both like “what why do you have a demon toddler in your home.” And blue’s like “fuck you that is my son.” And they’re both like “w h a t.”

And it was really cute and yeah :)

I've been replaying Alter Ego and the brainrot is real. I've already started thinking up a four sword au for it lmaooo.

Dunno who I would put as Es, I'm torn between Vio and Shadow. Heck, maybe I could make both of the Es. The librarian and his Shadow.

Then you've got Ego Rex.... not sure who I'd put as them. Vaati and Ganon could work, but so could Demise and Hylia.

The player would be the rbg bois, each coming in for a different ending.

Don't have all the endings, just got the two bad endings and a good one.

I might play through the game as though I was going through as each of the bois and see what happens, it might be fun. I'd play as Blue first, then Red, then Green, then repeat.

just a dumb thought, might not even go anywhere, but I have little ideas for fanart that I might do... who knows.

I have an extremely self-indulgent isekai au that's been churning in my brain for awhile where someone from earth ended up as fs Link's Ravio (though on top of still having memories of his life on earth the same anatomy and alergies he also has no parents so he just... vibes until Shadow finds him. As I said, extremely self-indulgent) and I gave him a rushian sounding accent when speaking hylian because I feel like hylian would be a softer and more 'h' 'a' 's' 'sh' sound focused.

This is not as important as Shadow Link being the first one of the five to learn english fluently (I have a headcanon that he can learn any language quickly because he was born and had to learn hylian in a week) and me deciding that a hylian accent in english sounds like western drawl with way to much emphasis on the "hhh" "aaa" and "shhh" sounds.

Blue head canon that is 100% me projecting:

Blue sometimes gets so viscerally angry that he gets close to passing out. Like; head spinning, nausea, vision fuzzing. He can normally keep people from noticing by storming off or just making himself look as big and angry as possible with a 'barely internal' scream and people will take the sudden quiet the light-headedness causes as him keeping himself from saying something he'll regret.

It got so bad that he actually made the person he was angry at (probably Shadow) very concerned because he actually looked all dizzy and had to sit down to keep from passing out.

Also if he's angry for long enough, particularly active and angry, he ends up spending the rest of the day or week- depending on how long he was angry and active for -really drained both emotionally and physically.

This is deeply concerning to the people who know about it. Which isn't many lol.

I like to think that after the events of the manga he did start to mellow out a bit, which was helped by the week long exhaustion that came with spending the entire journey with a lit fuse. Blowing up at everyone for every reason is bad for his health.
