Same dude except I have a skeleTON of pictures about them, my frickin sister wanna see my pictures but I don't because she will judge me from what I want so I just hide it. Don't stop doing what you love anon. If they don't support you, it's okay because someday you will improve and your art will get better. Just stay strong.

Hello again. Sorry to be commenting on this kind of thing on your blog, but I really need to talk to someone about it. My family doesn't like the drawings I make very much. They don't like to look. They say it's the devil's thing and my way of painting my drawings is horrible to the point of looking like something drawn by a third grader. I wanted to get their support because they are the people who matter most to me, but every now and then they act like they want to make me delete my blog.

In fact, it's not very nice of them since you trust them and ask for support. But they can be understood cause they don't know the things you draw and see something bad in it.

Probably the most right thing would be to talk to them. Explain them that you like to draw (even if it looks not very good so far for them), that there’s nothing wrong with it. That you show it to them cause you trust them. That you'll be glad for their support cause you love them and this is important to you.

But if they can't support your hobby, don't let them deprive you of what you love. It's important to remain neutral here ♡

Easy! ٩( ᐛ )و

Create a layer between the lineart layer and the color (fill) layer (I usually put it under the lineart layer);

Clip this layer (I believe it's called Clipping button);

Set the layer's opacity to 15-20%;

Take a black brush and draw shadows where they are needed. Profit! ☆
