dahyun isn’t possessive in the same way nayeon is. nayeon is very much so outwardly “she’s my baby, nobody else’s!” dahyun just gets horribly sad when nayeon is out so late, and doesn’t text frequently or at all. all she can think is that nayeon is going to find someone better than her, thinner, prettier, less geeky and less clingy with less issues.

when nayeon brings up how she feels guilty when dahyun is always texting her how sad she is and how she misses nayeon etc etc, and dahyun just bursts into hysterical crying, pouring her heart out to nayeon about every insecurity she’s ever had and how much it hurts to feel like she’ll always be less than and that one day, inevitably, nayeon will find someone better.

“oh honey,” nayeon feels terrible, she hadn’t even considered dahyun would feel like this. she pulls the younger girl into a tight hug, wanting to pour all her love into it. “you’re my girl, dahyunie, forever. i could never ever find anyone better than you, there’s nobody better than you, and i’d never want to anyways. you’re the love of my life dahyun. you always will be.”
