A lot of people like to believe Keith would not have been fooled by Lotor when he would have fallen 100% the worst which would made the betrayal sting all the more but also been the divisive moment in their character parallels since JDS and LM talked about how they're were supposed to be two people coming from the same place but ultimately choosing differently (ie. Kill all galra or whatever who knows since we ended up with nothing). I think Keith would have felt especially betrayed because lotor was half galra and had the same goals and throw in Allura/Axca romance and boom you get something a lot more emotionally loaded than souless clone winter soldier rip off we got
