Catradora coffee shop au where Catra is the barista and Adora is always on the phone when making her order, so an annoyed Catra starts putting jokes on her cup like

And Adora doesn’t catch on until Glimmer, her coworkers at work, points it out. So in return, Adora starts making puns like

“Are u kitten me?”

“Cat’s got ur tongue?”

“Purr fect”

“I’m feline swell today, how r u?”

And it gets to a point where Catra just writes “I Adora you. Would u like to go on a date?” And Adora just comes up to the counter and fives Catra her number before saying “Catra later!”

The two would get along, even Steven and Adora probably would too.

I don’t know much about Shera or Steven Universe, but the characters I know; Peridot and Catra seem like the same character.

Hmmm...This is actually kinda true in a way, but I feel like my friend and I tend to over analyze this ship too much XD.

I think Catra’s mind works like this.

If Adora really loved me she would never had abandoned me. Since she did abandon me, she must never have loved me. If she never loved me she must have tricked me into thinking she did love me. Since she tricked me and hurt me I will destroy everything she loves.

It also stems from the rivalry created by Shadoweaver’s favoritism of Adora and active abuse of Catra. It’s very similar to Gamora and Nebula’s relationship actually.

The way to end the conflict will deal with Adora convincing Catra that she does love her and always has. It will be hard and long but I think Catra ultimately will be unhappy with the Horde, since the only reason she ever liked it there was because Adora was there. It doesn’t matter how high up the ranks she climbs, she could be the new leader of the Horde and will still be unhappy. I ultimately think her love for Adora will win in the end and will end the conflict forever.
