It is not all that often I make fanart, but Darkest Dungeon has given me insight into what a game can be and how it can be done. So I had to do it. I REALLY like that game. Like ... really. A lot.
So I have been playing A LOT of The Darkest Dungeon lately. I bought it back in early access but never really got why it had to be so hard on the player. Then I played Dark Souls.. Now I get it. Anyway, here is a fanart I made, featuring one of my favorite war nun class, the Vestal.

Hey!! I’m Mal, 19, trans rightsI I'm willing to play with anybody 16+ Lf a Darkest Dungeon 2 rp and someone to chat with outside it too!
First of all I’m generally semi-lit but I more write what fits than prioritizing length. Just give me info to work with and I’ll be perfectly fine! I’m open to whatever except romance and smut. I love love love hurt/comfort, angst (including whump), and found family. Big fan of 'filler' too, like man,,, let them rest, breathe, bathe, and have a drink. They earned it. This is not a 10 episode miniseries either, they have time Long term preferred but lets see if we mesh first! Don't force it, hemorrhoids aren't fun
Both ocs and canon accepted and encouraged! I’d strongly prefer a mix of the two as I do want to interact with canon characters as well. I plan to play Damian and The Protégé, possibly Paracelsus too. I need to study and look into other characters before, but I think 2 per person is good to start with.
If you have a unique plot idea, share it! Please! Though, I think following Confessions would be fun. Through the hardships and failures, hope can remain, a flickering flame. The Protégé will suck in the beginning but he will develop. Tis an arc that pathetic little nerd must travel. Poor creature is stuck in Denial Ofc Darkest Dungeon 2 spoilers, but that should be obvious

I cannot find Damian headcanons anywhere so
So excuse me while I post mine because that sadomasochist lives in my head rent free though— admittedly I haven’t played his whole thing yet I am 4/5ths through
- He cannot taste much but, he can feel spicy and would kill for it. Spicier the better. He wants it to the point his mouth burns, the fire running through his body
- Yes he would eat straight ghost peppers
- His flail is special to him, do not take it away
- It’d take him awhile for anybody to like him
- He’s very physical, friends of his will get a hardest slap on the back as a ‘good job’, one that could knock someone over
- Doesn’t sleep much. Death cannot claim him, and he will not be caught off guard.
- Damian would love lady bugs
- Weirdly good at helping through a bad mental time,
- Chronic pain fr, definitely limps too
- Distinct dislike of horses

The fixation hit like a truck so I'd like to find a place actually familiar with it
RIP Wayne June, I know nothing about the man but his voice acting in both Darkest Dungeon games were damn good
I bought the sequel yesterday night and I’m still playing through it, and what a time to get back into the series
Artfight v2! I attempted to mimic the Darkest Dungeon art style for some ocs for the game for attacks 7 & 9 respectively
