Diluc stood before an injured Kaeya, his trusty Wolves Gravestone ready to strike. His back was to the cavalry captain, his dangerous red eyes locked onto the advancing hilichurls.
"Diluc?" Kaeya strained, slowly getting back up off the ground.
"Stay down, Kaeya" Diluc demanded. He was not losing Kaeya like he had Cerpus all those years ago.
He had blamed Kaeya then. Blamed Kaeya that he was the reason Cerpus died. He now knew better. His father had tried to leave the Fatui. His own father had been a Harbinger. And they didn't like him trying to leave.
It was years ago. And Diluc could still hear the echo of his words that night.
"It's all your fault! All of it! It's all your fault!"
He was a fight away from losing Kaeya.
It was time to right his wrongs.
"Kaeya, don't die on me..."

You were awake early, which meant watching your lover get ready for the day. You looked up from your book, watching as diluc walked out of the bathroom as his red luscious wet locks cling to his wet skin after a nice hot shower. You can help but stare because, he just looks so ethereal..you can’t help yourself.
He sits down on the right side of the bed, adjusting your position you sit behind him and gently twirl his hair, “your hair is so beautiful, diluc.” you say, watching as a dust of pink creeps up the tip of his ears, and he just hums in acknowledgment to your comment. Combing your fingers threw his hair you speak again, “you should let me style your hair.. How about a braid? or half up half down?” you pause for a second “but whatever hairstyle you wear you’ll still look adorable” you say giggling as your partner coughs in surprise to your comment.
“If you really want to..I guess you could spend some time doing my hair. “ diluc says; your quite shocked, you sit beside him and look at him with an excited expression, “really!?” he nods in response. You quickly jump up and run to the bathroom to get your comb and any other hair supplies you might need to tame his fiery hair.
You finish doing your lovers hair, with a half up and half down look with a couple of loose hairs on the side. (kind of like albedo’s, just without the braid in his hair) You hand diluc the mirror so he can look at his fresh new hair style, “what do you think? pretty, huh?” You say kissing his cheek.
> He takes awhile examining his new hair-do, and boy he loves it! It’s all pretty and it kind of makes him look more approachable
> He’ll turn to you with a smile and thank you with a kiss to your cheek, might even ask if you can style his hair more often.
He places the mirror down and adjusts his body to face you, he places a chaste kiss on your lips before getting up to finally get dressed and head out. “love, would you mind styling my hair more often? If you don’t mind, of course.” he says as he slips his final piece of clothing on. Walking down stairs to see him off and giving him another peck on the cheek before he leaves, “Mhm! I’ll style your hair whenever you want, it’s a win win for us both, after all.” you smirk as he shakes his head and smiles when he walks out the door.

For winter break, you and kaeya, along with a bunch of friends; decided to visit a ski lodge for a week. You were quite excited, especially for all the snow. You used to go to the same ski lodge when you were a child with your family, so your all too familiar with the place, and staff.
You were swelling with pride that you were able to show kaeya around. Sharing all the memories you had there. An exciting trip down memory lane…WRONG. everything went terribly terribly wrong. And now you got yourself in a sticky situation, 12 at night—with no escape.
“darling, there’s a jacuzzi outside, on the balcony..” he hums, and you turn your head and walk over to the glass door he’s looking out of. “Hm, yeah, there is..why?” you question, and he just hums in response. You look up at him to be greeted with a cheeky smirk spread across his lips, he’s up to something.
“what are you up to? I know your scheming something mister..” you raise a brow at him, and he lets out a deep chuckle, “how about we take a dip in the jacuzzi? It’ll be just the two of us..” he looks down at you, you look back out the glass door and shake your head. “Kaeya, it’s snowing outside, there’s no way i’m going out there.”
“cmon’ it won’t be too bad!” he says as he rummages threw his suitcase and grabs his bathing suit bottoms and immediately starts changing. You watch him strip of his clothes with a slight blush on your face, “your crazy! it’s too cold!!” he grabs a towel and counters your argument: “The jacuzzi will warm us up! please?” he pauses, and you cross your arms, “fine, hmm..how about, I buy takeout for a whole week? whatever you want, hm?” you can’t argue with that..so you grab your swim suit that kaeya forced you to pack and change.
You stand at the open glass door with a towel wrapped around you, shivering. “You seriously had to pack the most skimpiest swimsuit i owned!? your crazy and a perv !!” you semi-shout, in return he chuckles as he sits his towel down on a near table, “cmon! afraid of the cold are we? here, i’ll help you.” he walks over to you, yanks your towel off your body and throws you over his shoulder. “KAEYA !!” you shriek, covering your upper body with your arms.
He puts your towel down, and lowers you in to the jacuzzi. “see? not as bad, no?” he smirks and steps in to the jacuzzi. You huff, “I guess it’s not that bad..” you sink down in to the hot water and hum in satisfaction. He scoots closer to you and moves you on to his lap, back facing his chest, his arms around your middle. You lean back in to his touch, and you tilt your head to look at him, giving him a peck on his jaw. “Are you not cold?” you question, and his grip around you gets tighter, “not when your warming me up” you giggle at his cheesy response, “your such a dope.” you smile, and lean your head back on his shoulder and look up at the night sky.
You feel his hands creeping up your front, you lift your head to look down,“kae-“ before you get to finish, his hands makes their way to cup your chest/breasts. You slightly jump, his hands are cold even in the hot water?? He rests his head in the crook of your neck and starts peppering your neck with kisses. “Kaeya..” you breathe out. you move your hands to his thighs to steady yourself. He smirks against your neck and pulls back, resting his chin on your shoulder, and moving his arms back to your middle. You took at him threw the corner of your narrowed eyes, “perv..” you mumble out and he chuckles.
You turn your head back to the sky and sigh, “I should have known you were gonna pull some cheeky stuff on me, your charming but punchable face distracted me.” He pulls you closer to his chest, “are you saying i’m attractive?” a sly smile makes its way in to his lips, you shoot him a playful glare, “no i’m totally not saying your attractive— of course I am dumbass.” He lets out a sarcastic gasp, “your sarcasm hurts me, darling.” you just playfully roll your eyes in response.
You feel his hand land on your jaw and he sharply makes you turn your face to his. “Kae-“ He shushes you with the dark look in his eye and the slight curve in his lips. “You know..you always seem to make me feel some sort of way, darling..” his voice is deep and raspy, it gives you chills down your spine and you gulp. He pulls away and moves you off his lap— “well, it’s getting late. Time we get out, no?” he gives you a sly smirk as he exits the jacuzzi.

He was leaving for a trip, he wouldn’t be back for a couple weeks; you both wanted to say your goodbyes before he left.
He took both both of your hands in his, rubbing small circles on your knuckles; bringing them up to his lips and softly kissing them. He didn’t want to leave, and you didn’t want him to leave either. But it’s business, convincing each other that time will fly, and he’ll be back soon.
“Diluc” he hums in acknowledgment, looking in to your eyes. “It’s getting late, you should leave. You don’t want to be late, right?” you give him a soft smile, and he nods. Letting go of your hands, he kisses your forehead, then your lips.
“I love you” he says, and you smirk, looking up at him with a smug look on your face; “You better, Or else I’ll punch you so hard that ponytail of yours will start orbiting around your head like planet mercury” you playfully scoff, and he only sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “why, are you like this?” you giggle, “that’s a great question, a question that can’t be answered.” He dramatically sighs again and smiles,

This certainly wasn’t how you expected to greet your boyfriend after coming back from a long trip. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant surprise for you both.
Scaramouche was getting off the boat In liyue harbor, eagerly wanting to be in your arms once again. You were waving at him with that big smile on your face that he missed. He started picking up the pace in his steps, wanting to be in your arms as soon as possible, but not that he wanted everyone else to know that.
Knowing what he wanted, you opened your arms for him. He was about to reach out and grab on to you, but, he ended up tripping over a rock, stumbling forward; landing face first on to your boobs.
Time stopped for atleast 5 seconds between the two of you. You didn’t mind the position you two were in right now, In fact; you wrapped your arms around him, in result; his face being pushed deeper in to your breasts as you kiss his head.

Well, sense I couldn’t think of any other studio ghibli couples that represent kaeya; and i just really liked the kaeya + flynn rider idea i kept it.
It was his idea and he had to convince you to wear that long ass mf wig. You refused because it would be heavy and a pain. so you decided to dress up as repunzal after flynn cut her hair in the tower.
Thought you looked sexy in the dress, and liked the idea of wearing a shorter wig because he said, “It would be easier to kiss your neck like this” swat him away like a fly whenever he tries to give you kisses or love bites on your neck.
you couldn’t lie that this was a great idea because damn, kaeya looked so damn fucking good in flynn’s outfit, especially sense he let a little stubble grow on his chin.
You were struggling to tie the ties in the back of the dress, calling to your boyfriend to help you out. “Kaeya, can you tie the back of this dress for me? it’s a pain and i can’t seem to tie it properly” he walks over to you, taking the ribbons in his hands, “of course” He pulled on them and tied them tight. Moving his hand off of the tied ribbon and rubbing up your waist and hips, before leaning in to give your neck a peck, “you look gorgeous” you smile and lean in to his touch, “hmm, so do you.”

So i can picture diluc as Fujimoto (the father with the stripped suit) from ponyo, because semi of his personality and hos gorgeous hair.
You, the reader, would obviously go as non other then the god of the show, Granmamare, the sexy giant goddess lady.
You had to convince him to go first, because he would rather be caught dead then be seen dressed up at kaeya’s costume party. but indulged in to your request after you suggested going as Fujimoto and Granmamare.
Thought he wouldn’t look any different, so he complied. He was happy he didn’t have to wear a wig for this costume. Also thought you looked stunning in the long wavy pink wig and long dress.
He was sitting down in front of you, sitting patiently as you did small touch ups of make-up for his eye bags, eye shadow and cheek bones. To be honest you didn’t really have to darken his eye bags because there was already some because of lack of sleep, so you just touched up his blue eyes shadow and the blush on his cheeks. Your lips purk up and you out the make up brush down. “All done! you look very pretty, diluc.” you hand him a mirror, blush creeps on his cheeks at your compliment. Honestly a bit surprised when he sees himself in the mirror. “oh..wow, you applied this stuff really well.” he tells you as he carefully studies his Looks. “Mhmm..only the best for my cutie.” you kiss his reddened cheek.

A/N; just wanted to mention towards the end theres intimacy(arm holding/hand holding etc) between the reader and diluc, I’m gonna assume just to be safe that someone is gonna get on my ass about it saying how “it’s creepy they’re siblings” I hold/hug my older sisters hand/arm especially if i’m anxious when we’re out, same with my dad so it’s normal for me, and it’s not weird! ty.
It was a rather rowdy night at the tavern; you were sitting at the bar with kaeya and sister rosaria, and a certain mouthy bard, waiting for diluc to get off shift to head home together. You were humming and listening to the drunken adults ramble about stuff.
you were only 16, so you couldn’t drink yet, but diluc kindly gave you a glass of grape juice to enjoy until he closes the tavern. Taking a sip of your grape juice you notice an older man take the seat next to you on your right. But you pay no mind and turn your attention to your noisy drunken older brother. That is until the older man started to get a bit too close to you, so you scoot your stool away from him, but he just scoots closer. Starting to get anxious, you wonder if you should say something until you feel a hand on your thigh.
“Erm..excuse me sir, but can you please keep your hands to yourself..” you try and shoo his hand away but his grip becomes tighter and he doesn’t budge. “Cmon’..there’s no harm in it, say why don’t I buy ya’ a drink? we can have a little fun together, whadda say, pretty girl...” you can smell the alcohol in his breath and you almost gag. “no thanks, please leave me alone-“ you mumble but the old mans hand starts to creep up your leg.
You yelp and try and sit back but end up falling off the stool and making a loud crash, which results in everyone looking at you. “Y/N, Are you alright?” you hear your red headed brother say, and you look up to see him kneeling beside you. “U-uhm, yes, yeah, I’m alright” you mumble as he helps you up. “sorry sweet cheeks, did I scare ya? I didn’t mean to, just being friendly.” the old man reached out to grab you but you backed up out of his grasp and bumped in to diluc who was behind you, and you see kaeya grip the mans arm, “Have you never learned to keep your hands to yourself, hmm?” Your blue headed brother says and you watch as diluc steps in front of you. “Is this old man bothering you, Y/N?” diluc asks and you nod, “he was making me uncomfortable..his hand was, erm, touching me..” You rub your arms and step back a bit.
“It’s not that deep, I was just being friendly..trying to shoot my shot on a cute little girl.” the old man tries to defend his actions, “Excuse me?” the red head scoffs, “praying on little girls? oh how low of you..” kaeya starts “looks like someone needs to be taught a lesson?” he gets up, standing next to diluc and the man also stands. “There’s nothing wrong with it-“ diluc cuts him off, scoffing and pinching the bridge of his nose, “There’s nothing wrong with it? she’s 16, what are you 60? there’s Everything wrong with it. I’m gonna have to ask you to leave.” the old man opens his mouth to argue but kaeya quickly shuts him up, “before we make you leave. understood?” glaring daggers at the guy.
The old man angrily takes his leave, and the two brothers turn to you, bombarding you with questions and concerns. “Are you alright?” “did he hurt you?” “do you need anything?” “would you like me to beat him up?” question after question, with no time to answer any of them. “Get off her ass, you two aren’t even giving her the opportunity to answer all the dumb questions your throwing at her.” Rosaria says as she takes a sip of her booze. “right, sorry.” diluc says and he turns to you. “I’m alright, I’m not hurt, I just want to go home, and no, you don’t need to beat him up.” you let out a sigh of relief and a small chuckle. “I’m sure diluc has no problem closing the tavern, right brother?” Kaeya says, in a teasing manner for the last part. “mhmm, of course, it’s about time I close up the tavern anyway.”
When there’s nobody left in the tavern except for you and your brothers, you hug kaeya goodbye, “Thank you, for earlier..” you say as you squeeze him tightly in the hug. wrapping his arms around you and rubbing your back, “Well, it is my purpose to look out for my adorable younger sister.” he chuckles and you let go smiling, waving good bye.
When you and diluc are walking back to the Manner, you hook your arm around your brothers and lean on his arm. “Are you alright?” you smile, nodding. “Mhm,I just want to say thank you, for earlier, for looking out for me..” you hug his arm tighter and he wraps his arm around your shoulder. “Of course, I would do anything to make you feel safe.” You smile and giggle, walking silently back to the manner with your older brother.

It was just the two of you in the tavern, diluc was behind the bar cleaning up and you were sitting at one of the stools waiting for him to finish up. When you remembered the prank kaeya told you to pull. You decided to take the opportunity you had right now.
You have the smuggest smile plastered on your face. Clearing your throat, you start, “Luc’…I cant believe you did that..” you gasp. He slightly turns his head and raises a brow. “What? did I do something wrong?” Your smile widens, oh how sad that he walked in to your little trap.. ”DID DEEZ NUTS, OOHHH!!” You scream almost at the top of your lungs and burst out laughing.
He whips his head around, with the most confused and shocked look on his face and raises his brow, “What? what did you just say?” He just watches you cough and laugh as you try to explain your joke, but your laughing too hard and can’t seem to let any words escape your mouth. He sighs.

Watches you stumble on to the ground from laughing so hard. Gives you the dirtiest, most disgusting look ever. Like he just watched someone pick out there own limbs out of there body and eat them.

He’s mad at you for the whole day. Grumpy and pissed off. yelling at new recruits (and childe) for no reason.

After dinner you decided to drag diluc to the movies to see the newest movie that just came out in theaters, “Free Guy”! He was reluctant at first but complied because of how excited you were.
After he paid for the tickets, drinks, and snacks. You two sat in the theater and you gave him a brief summary of what the movie was about during the previews. He got a little annoyed because there was teenage boys fooling around near the top during the previews.
Once the movie starts he’s confused, even more confused when there’s people being robbed constantly and nobody does anything about it. Doesn’t like how keys was working for a thief that stole his and millie’s game code, (he likes him in the end tho).
Had to ask you if Millie was playing as the british game character because he was a tad bit confused, and wanted to make sure(he obviously was right). Thought it was a super cool idea how there was multiple popular twitch and youtubers. Felt bad that guy wasn’t real, but still saved the online world.
Held your hand threw most of the movie; Also liked the part with the captian america shield, and chris evens, he chuckled at that part.
Loved that Keys and Millie finally got together, and glad that antwon went to Jail.

Both of you were on your seats during the beginning, especially with harley. When it cut to the prison scene both of you were confused, then understood what happened after the whole team was introduced.
Both of you made fun of peace maker with the toilet bowl on his head. Childe said the rat girl was creepy, when you asked if he just doesn’t like rats he immediately turned that theory down. By that you got your answer and teased him for his rat fear threw out the movie. Was so happy that Harley was alive. But got sad that flag died in the end. Both of you got scared the shit out of by the giant starfish.
You mostly listened to him ramble about the gore and deaths in the movie while he had his hand on your hip on the walk back to the car.

Diluc;
I feel like diluc is a very sweaty sleeper, even before he is his vision he would just get super hot quickly so he never really got comfortable. and if he did all the blankets would be thrown off his bed haha !
When he started getting older he decided that it would just be better if he slept in his underwear. It’s not hot, and he doesn’t really have to throw all the blankets off his bed.
But he still tries to be modest and civil. so he will try and wear this black silky pajama set to bed. But in the end he rips them off when he gets way too hot.
Definitely would be too embarrassed to sleep in the same bed with you naked. He wants you to be comfortable!
has the air conditioning to like freezing temperatures and the fan at full blast. So it helps him sleep easier and cool his body down.
It’s atleast 12:00 am, and you’re sitting in bed waiting for your boyfriend, diluc, to arrive back home from his late night duties. To keep you entertained, you decided to read a book till he got home. which you started at 8, and now have been threw atleast 3 thick books, in the past 5 hours.
You hear the bedroom door creak open, you look up to meet your very tired boyfriend, as you place your book down he speaks in a low voice, “why aren’t you asleep? I told you that you didn’t have to wait for me to get back.” to which you respond. “I know, doesn’t stop me from actually staying up, I wanted to see you before bed anyway.” You give him a sweet but tired smile. You get comfortable in bed and wait for your beloved to get out of the washroom.
after a couple minutes, he comes out in a silky black pajama set. You’ve never been awake to see what he actually wore to bed, so it was a pleasant surprise to see his choice in clothing. You watch as he gets under the covers with you, and you snuggle up into his chest for warmth, but, he’s getting a little..to hot, like, he’s on fire! after a bit you pull away to see the obvious discomfort and sweat rolling down his face.
“Diluc, you seem really really hot, why don’t you take your clothes off? you’ll be more comfortable-“ obviously that sentence caught him off guard, because his face heated up and his cheeks dusted pink at the thought of being practically naked in bed with you. “N-no, really, it’s fine- I’m fine.” you pout, knowing how stubborn diluc can be, you decided to play his own stubborn game. You sit up and cross your arms, “If you’re going to be so stubborn, and not let yourself be comfortable. Then i’ll do the same thing.”

You and diluc were traveling awhile away from Mondstat for your daily commissions; not knowing that there was a nasty storm brewing, you two got caught In the storm and are now hiding in a nearby cave.
You were sitting down in front of the fire diluc lit while he was near the entrance of the cave looking out at the dark and wet terrain. His clothes and hair were soaked
His back was turned towards you, so you couldn’t see the expression on his face, but you can tell he wasn’t in a good mood due to the rain. Safe to say you weren’t looking forward to his negative attitude.
“Diluc?” you call out to him, before he could respond you continue, “If you stay near the entrance you’ll get a cold, come near the fire.” you knew due to his vision he didn’t need to be near the fire, but you wanted him closer to you anyway.
“I’m fine, I won’t get a cold. Just stay by the fire and wait for the rain to stop.” You huffed at his response, you turned back to the fire and waited. After at least 10 minutes the rain only got heavier, it didn’t look like it was gonna stop anytime soon. Your wet clothes aren’t helping you stay warm, your holding yourself while shivering slightly.
You look back over at entrance of the cave and diluc is gone. You instantly shot up and made your way to the entrance of the cave, trying to look for your red headed boyfriend in the pouring rain. You call out his name a couple times before heading back in the rain to look for him, continuing to call out his name, you were shivering but you were to worried about your boyfriend to care. Your wondering around the dark forest during the storm calling out diluc’s name.
In the process of searching for diluc, you accidentally alerted a hilichurl camp. You turn around when you hear grunts behind you. Cornered by a bunch of hilichurls, backing you up to a tree, looking around trying to find an escape. Until you saw a flash of red and you look over to see the hilichurls disintegrating and diluc standing over there bodies. He turned towards you and rushes to your side.
“Y/N? are you ok? what are you doing out here, I told you to stay in front of the fire.” His voice was stern, his fierce eyes narrow on you. “I..I was looking for you..!” you shoot back, “I was worried when I looked back and you were gone! what was I supposed to do? Wait until you got back?” Before you could continue, he shot back, “Yes! you were!” you were upset, extremely. How were you supposed to stay out when your boyfriend left without saying anything? “How do you expect me to stay still when my boyfriend is suddenly gone? leaving without telling me?” you let out with a huff, you scoff and walk past him heading back to the cave you two were keeping shelter in.
Your huddled in front of the fire, staring at it. You hear diluc sigh, you hear his foot steps closing in on you. He takes off his coat and places it on your shoulders, you look up at him confused. “Your cold, I can see you shivering” you let out a scoff as he sits down next to you. He sighs and looks down at the fire before speaking, “My apologies..I should have told you were I was going before I left, I didn’t intend to be out for long.” you look up at him, “where did you go anyway..” He meets your eyes “I needed to let off some..steam” he pauses, and reaches behind his back and pulls out some cecilia flowers and hands them to you. “Really?” you scoff and smile taking them in your hand, “you went out to let out your rage and then picked some flowers for me? how thoughtful.” you giggle as you see his cheeks tint pink. “Shut up..” he murmurs as he puts his arm around you and kisses your cheek. “Your too cute, ya know?”
Your hand makes its way up his chest to his collar, you grab his collar and pull him in to a passionate kiss. You finally pull away to breathe and smile up at him. Soon after the rain stopped and you two continued your way to your commissions.

“Everything alright, my love?” He looks worried like he usually does when you don’t answer him straight away. Was something bothering you?
The first time you ever called Diluc by a pet name was a few months into your relationship and it was purely by accident. You had decided to wait for your boyfriend to close up the tavern, sitting on the very edge of the bar, feet unable to touch the ground as you swung them gently. Diluc was wiping down the tables, a soft humming coming from his throat, making a smile break out across your face as you listened to the soothing noise. The man’s voice was a melody to your ears and one that you could never get tired of. It was low and sweet like a slow dripping honey on a cool winter day, something you could listen to for hours on end. You were broken from your thoughts as Diluc nudged you gently, worry creasing his brow. You were so deep in your thoughts that you hadn’t even realized he was calling out for you.
Diluc was staring at you from where he stood on the other side of the counter, his usually tied up hair was beginning to slip from it’s confines, a few strands falling to frame his face. A smile graced your lips, slender hand gripping your boyfriend’s wrist to tug him between your parted legs. You take him being so close as a chance to tuck a stray hair behind his ear, leaning forward to slot your lips together in a sweet kiss. Diluc’s breath is stolen the moment your lips meet, breathy whine escaping as he presses himself closer into your embrace. He had been waiting all day to be wrapped up in your arms, and now that the tavern was closed, he wanted nothing more than to go home with you.
At his whine, a soft chuckle escapes your throat, moving to break the kiss and see the state that you have left him in after one kiss. Once your lips are parted, you take notice that Diluc’s face is nearly the same shade as his hair, making you smile at how embarrassed he looked. He really was craving attention wasn’t he?
“Oh darling...you look absolutely adorable…” You manage to breathe out, smile never breaking because he just looks so perfect standing before you like this.
You reach to cup his cheek in your hand, palm pressed up against the warm skin there and you press another lingering kiss to his lips. “Yes, darling?” you smirk, unable to look away as he begins to stutter out how he needs to finish locking up the tavern.
Diluc’s eyes snap open the moment that the pet name leaves your lips, he can feel his body beginning to heat up, and it isn’t because of his pyro vision. He is silent for a good minute before attempting to speak. “D-Darling? You called me darling?” He stumbled over his words at first, only succeeding in making his cheeks darken in color.
“Oh? Hurry up then so we can go home, okay darling?” Oh you were never going to stop calling him that.
It isn't uncommon for Venti to use pet names with you, often calling you 'My muse' just to see how your face flushes that lovely shade of red he has been dying to see. He loves to see that crimson red that stains your cheeks, mainly because it contrasts so well with your skin. Venti often calls you by pet names when the two of you are around anyone, he likes knowing that everyone understands you belong to him. However, these pet names always stretch into your private time as well, murmured against your lips as he tugs you impossibly closer to the warmth of his body.
"My muse, don't realize how beautiful you are after I am done kissing you?" He would whisper once he allows you to part your lips for air. He thinks you look the best after you have been kissed: eyes half lidded, lips parted for air, and your cheeks that wonderful crimson yet again. You were a walking masterpiece.

You are perched against the trunk of the tree, a book in your hands as Venti settles his upper torso between your spread legs. Hands stilling on the Lyre in his hands, before he is quick to put it down so he can face you. As you come face to face, the Bard's eyes are practically shining, his cheeks are dusted with a brilliant red.
"You finally used a pet name for me, My Muse! It took you long enough!" He is pouting, but mirth warms his gaze. The way you laugh at his outburst makes him decide right then that he was the luckiest Archon in all of Teyvat.
You had been sitting with Xiao on the top balcony of Wangshu Inn when you first called him by a pet name. The sun was setting just beyond the horizon, it was a beautiful sight to behold with the birds drinking up the last bit of the dying light. However, as your eyes drifted over to your boyfriend, you couldn’t help but stop to stare at the beauty before you. Xiao’s golden eyes were practically glowing in the last few rays of the sun’s light, the gentle breeze swaying his hair just slightly to have you enraptured by his beauty.
A soft breath escaped your lips in awe, making Xiao turn his head towards you curiously, brows furrowing as he gazes over in your direction. “What are you st-”
“N-Nothing, Kitten! Y-You just look really nice with the way the light is shining on you…” As you go to explain, the pet name slips. Kitten? What were you thinking? Your cheeks shift as red as Diluc’s hair usually is, eyes casting anywhere, but the adeptus in front of you. Everything about him reminded you of a kitten, he would huff and glare at you often when in reality all he wanted was your affection. Not that he would EVER admit that out loud.
Xiao looks equally as surprised, his cheeks being bathed in scarlet as mere seconds go by. Did you just call him Kitten? Why that of all things? The Yaksha didn’t exactly hate the pet name, but there was no way he was going to admit how that simple name made his chest burst with an unusual warmth. “T-That is no way to address an Adeptus!”
Seeing the way your face falls upon hearing his exclamation, Xiao feel regret twisting in his chest. A small huff of annoyance escaping his throat as he tugs you to his chest, hand going to bury itself in your soft locks. "...you may call me what you please...as long as it stays between us." He warns, but even if you allow the name to slip in public, would he really be that mad at you?

Although Diluc often won’t directly admit it, he rather loves the mundane dates the two of you go on.
Stargazing with you has to be one of his favorite things to do when it is time for a ‘date night’.

The beauty of the galaxy that shine billions of miles away could never compare to how stunning you look bathed in the moonlight.

Diluc can’t remember the last time he just sat back and relaxed like this with anyone. He is always so preoccupied with his other duties he never really gets a chance to enjoy a moment of peace.
He never really speaks during the times, silently pressing himself into your warmth as much as possible. He wants to be as close as he can get. Even if he is practically on top of you already.
There are times when Diluc will grow confident enough to press little kisses to your jawline as he pulls you closer, allowing his actions to prove just how strong his feelings are for you.
“Would you remind me what that group of stars is called, love?”
If it is one thing that Kazuha adores, it’s to go stargazing with you whenever the two of you have the free time.
Since you spend a lot of time traveling on the Crux Fleet, your beloved often asks you if you want to lay on the deck and stargaze with him. These are some of your most intimate moments with each other.
Under the soft glow of the moon shining down upon the two of you, Kazuha often finds himself getting lost in how you look. With your eyes locked onto the galaxy stretching out above the two of you and the way your hair fans out around your head, he can feel his heart beginning to pound.
You both could stay out here for hours simply enjoying each other’s warmth and company as you snuggle beneath the stars.
You decide to take this time to open up about your life before meeting him, telling him little details or stories that he might not have heard before now.
Kazuha also begins to open up about things he has experienced in the past, he had been reluctant to do so before, but the way you tell him about your life so easily inspires him to do the same.
Aside from the sound of the soft breeze flowing through the sails of The Crux, the only other sound is the chatter you two make and the lapping of the waves around you.
“Spending time with you is probably one of the most magical feelings, my dove.
Gorou, like Diluc, hardly ever has the time to allow himself a moment a of leisure especially with the Vision Hunt Decree still in motion.
However, when the man finally finds the time to spend with you, he almost always asks to stargaze on one of Watatsumi Island’s beaches. Nighttime is really the only free time that he can get, and it isn’t uncommon for Gorou to have to spend days away.
When the time comes to go on your date, he talks about it all day. Literally. As well as to everyone else around which is mostly his troop.
Someone is probably going to kill him if they hear him talk about how much he loves you again.
Gorou almost always brings you these wonderful bright violet flowers that remind him of your personality. That’s what he told you at least.
The moment that he lays his vibrant teal eyes on you, his tail begins to wag earnestly. However, when you point it out to him, Gorou’s face flushes a pretty crimson red and he pretends he doesn’t know what you are talking about.
As the two of you lie down to gaze up at the stars above you, Gorou really can’t keep his mouth shut. He is always talking about random facts he knows, but only about topics that he is sure you are interested in.
He loves it when you rub his ears while you both stargaze, not only is it a nice sensation, it fills him with warmth to know you like some of his more ‘puppy-like’ features.
“Look, My love! I found these flowers that remind me of you! Aren’t they pretty?”
Venti never really seems to be busy aside from when he takes the time to grab drinks from the tavern which means he will always be taking you on as many dates as he can.
The two of you spend quite a lot of time together, aside from when you need to go on missions or do commissions. You probably haven’t spent more than a few days away from each other.
Venti loves to ask you to go to Starsnatch Cliff with him on a stargazing date, not only does he love to star at the stars, but this was the place he first asked you out so it means a lot to him.
He loves bringing his lyre on dates with you so he can serenade you with his wonderful ability to come up with catchy songs on the spot.
While the two of you are gazing up at the stars, Venti can’t help but wonder how good of a person he was in his past life for him to be so blessed to have a partner like you.
Venti always takes the time to pick fresh Cecilias when you are together, facing away from you with a giggle while he weaves them into a beautiful crown. He always comments on how you are his princess and you look the most beautiful with a crown on your head.
During your stargazing date, Venti presses himself into your side as he strums a soft tune on his lyre, almost making you doze of from how nice the atmosphere is: The moonlight was pooling from above casting a soft glow to the earth around you accompanied by the gentle breeze and the scent of the ocean air from the sea below.
As you doze off, Venti no longer sings, but he does keep strumming his lyre, keeping you in your slumber until he must carry you back to your home.

Diluc is very secretive when it comes to his the details of his personal life.
It is likely that he won’t show very much affection at all in public or where other people can see the two of you.
He is very reticent so his feelings for you might not be very apparent unless he lets you in on them.
Diluc kisses you like it is going to be the last time he is able to do it. They are often full of passion and heat, almost kissing you as if his life depends on it.
His hand often drifts to your chin, thumb gently running over the smooth skin there as he tilts your head up. As soon as the gap closes between your lips, his hand moves so that it is cradling your jaw instead.
You can remember your first kiss vividly.
You often spent your days at the Dawn Winery, helping out wherever people would allow you....that and you always looked forward to poking your head into Diluc’s office. Most times the fiery-haired man was hard at work, filling out stacks of paper work that littered the messy desk. You always made sure to bring him meals, drinks, or even just popped in your head to make sure that he wasn’t in need of anything. Not that you were aware, but Diluc greatly appreciated the measures you went to in order to make sure he was content.
It was sunset by the time Diluc finally finished with everything he had to do at the winery, however, he still held the title “The Darknight Hero”, so it wouldn’t be long before he slipped off into the night. You had finished making him his specialty dish ‘Once upon a time Mondstadt’ which was comprised of meat, potatoes, and cheese. The dish itself was fairly easy to cook, and you found yourself to be quite the master of whipping it up anytime you were craving it. You found yourself cooking it for Diluc once every month or so when he would stick around long enough to eat after he was done with his winery duties.

Diluc’s voice yanks you out of your thoughts, you had been so focused on plating the dish that you hadn’t heard the faint thumping of his boots as he approaches you. You whip your head around, glancing over your shoulder to see the darkly clothed man standing at the doorway of the kitchen. You couldn’t help the way a soft smile crept onto your face when you had laid eyes on him.
“I made your special dish.” You give Diluc an answer before he can question what you are doing, picking up the plate with a hum. However, you don’t hand it over to him, simply walking up to your usual spot on the balcony outside his office.
The both of you often shared meals out here, basking in the warm light provided by the setting sun while chatting idly about things like commissions or adventures you had gone on recently. Golden rays of the sun’s light were slowly sinking beyond the horizon, the clouds being bathed in a soft pink glow as the sun disappeared for the night.
A comfortable silence drifts between the two of you as your eyes follow the sunset, the only sounds being the soft ‘whoosh’ of the wind, and the birds singing as they day comes to an end. Diluc is mainly focused on eating, red eyes shifting between his plate and you when you aren’t looking his way. As the breeze moves your hair around, you feel his eyes linger on you just a bit longer. The action makes you subconsciously turn your head to make eye contact with him, the fiery-haired male glancing away as he is caught, a bit if pink dusting his cheeks.
Cute.
It doesn’t take long for Diluc to finish eating, taking a sip of his grape juice before he comes to stand beside you at the railing of the balcony. Your eyes follow him over, hint of a smile gracing your lips as he leans against the railing, red hair being moved slightly with the wind.Your shoulder brushes up against Diluc’s making your cheeks redden at how close the man is standing beside you.
When did he get so close?
“I-” “Yo-”
The both of you start talking at the same time, making a chuckle escape Diluc’s chest, nudging your shoulders together with a soft smile. “Go ahead.” he murmurs, voice as gentle as the breeze flowing around you both.
“I enjoy spending this time with you.” The sentence flows from your mouth smoothly before you can stop to think about it. It’s a true statement though, before you came to Mondstadt, you always felt as if something was missing, this lead you to always keep up your travelling in search of something that made you feel complete.
Diluc is aware of how much you traveled before you came across Mondstadt, the thought that he was the reason you have stayed for so long made his heart flutter dangerously in his chest. As soon as the words left your mouth, you both turned to gaze at the other. Diluc’s red eyes gaze so intently into yours and you feel all the air leave your lungs as you scan over his face in question.
Your hearts begins to hammer in your chest as the darkly clothed man leans closer to you, his eyes never leaving yours as he moves his hand to cup your jaw. His touch is gentle, as if you’re made of the most fragile glass that would crack if he grips you too hard. The warmth of his palm licked at your skin like gentle flames making your cheeks grow scarlet in color. Diluc has known that he has liked you for weeks now, he had come to the realization after the two of you had a rather personal conversation on this very balcony under the light of the sunset.
It isn’t long before Diluc closes the gap between your lips, your eyes slipping closed as you press closer to him. His hand, warm due to the vision he is in possession of, trails to your neck so he can pull you in closer to the kiss. His own heart is racing as if he hadn’t dreamed of doing this since the first time he realized he had feelings for you.
When the kiss breaks your breath is coming out in little puffs, face as red as Diluc’s hair as he gaze up at the beautiful man in front of you. After only a few moments of looking at each other, a smile breaks out across the man’s face and he returns his hand to your jaw, thumb idly runnng over the soft skin.
“Oh, how I have waited to do that...”

opening your satchel, you take your mask and secure it to your face
time to go through with the plan you'd devised.
"huh-?" rosaria hadn't reacted fast enough and you managed to tackle her to the ground after the last hilichurl was disposed of
she chokes on your hold and attempts to shove you off, only for her attempt to whiff
grabbing the polearm she had in her dominant hand, you twirl it and use it to replace your hand on her throat, choking her with ger own weapon
"w-who in t-the world..?" rosaria glares and struggles to keep herself conscious
you smirked, putting more pressure on the polearm
she grows more and more panicked, you bask in her expression of utter helplessness
she should have known better than to mess with you

suddenly, you get pulled back by the hood and you gasp in shock
rosaria recovers quickly and stands up, snatching back her weapon from your distracted figure

"now who in the seven nations might this rodent be?" kaeya frowns, you attempt to struggle from his grip but to no avail
he takes off your disguise and you purse your lips
"..y/n?" rosaria questions, much more confused than your lover
"i had a feeling." kaeya remarks, surprising both you and the nun
"kaeya, you understand right? she upset you, she made you go through all that work just for you to find out it was some shady bitch roaming around the fucking city!" the two wince at your vulgar language, clearly not having any of it
"what's done is done." rosaria states and goes ahead to return to mond
kaeya lets you go and crosses his arms, disappointed in you
"you should know better, y/n. i'll have you know that although i love you dearly, this behavior of yours is not what i want from you." he reprimands you and you furrow your brows
"it's just me showing my love for you, i don't see what's wrong."

diluc wouldn't be too busy to spend time with you, but he'd be too busy to take notice of your toxicity
you lived in the manor, because of this, you had access to everything in the site

she screams for a split second and you smile, quickly bashing her head with the plate.
looking down at your doing, you grin impossibly wide
"miss y/n, why couldn't you have simply knocked her out first as to avoid her creating a rather loud shriek?" elzer sighed
"i wanted to hear her in agony, is that odd?" you raise an eyebrow at the chairman
he shakes his head, "no, not at all, master."
the next day, diluc is faced with a rather odd feeling of dread
as he finds adelinde, ironically, nowhere to be found, he immediately asks elzer which in turn is sworn to secrecy by you
it completely drove him mad, and you tried to take his mind off the maid yet he only pushed you aside
this angered you to the core
"what–is that maid more important than me now, after all this work i've done for you?!" you yelled at him and he huffs in annoyance
"what do you mean work?!" he yells back
"what could you have possibly done for me-" "i got rid of that bitch!"
he freezes, what did you just say?

diluc feels a boiling sensation in his stomach and he takes your wrist to drag you to the outside of his office

"see? you were just about to be hypocritical there, love." you chuckle
diluc gritted his teeth and steadies himself

the adeptus neither cared nor disliked the things you do for him, however, when you stepped out of line one day, he began to watch over you like a hawk
it was when the traveler, lumine, visited your adeptus lover
you were excited to see xiao, you had two plates of almond tofu in hand and was stepping up the staira to the balcony
you hummed a little tune to yourself
"first hilichurl got sick, second hilichurl took care, third hilichurl gathers medicine, fourth hilichurl prepares-"
you halt your singing when you hear laughter

frowning, you step back and watch them from behind the opening of the balcony

"yeah, whatever you say xiao." paimon laughed and lumine soon after
fuck. you felt something break on your foot.
xiao and the traveler snapped their heads to your direction–

"i'll go check on it," lumine offers and xiao simply nods, finishing the tofu she brought for him
the blonde traveller walks to the scene and sees a plate of almond tofu in bits and pieces

she crouches down to observe the scene

"AH-!" lumine tumbles down the stairs with you on top of her
not giving her time to react, you punch her in the face repeatedly

verr goldet and paimon cries for you to stop, the former prying you off the bruised blonde
xiao hears the commotion and sees the traveller's nose bleeding and your figure heaving on the ground, fists clenched
if verr goldet hadn't pulled you away, you would've killed the girl

"what is all this?" he angrily mumbles, "care to explain yourself, y/n?"

albedo was never one to mope around when he was stuck on some problem he's yet to puzzle together, but seeing you exhausted, anxious and so... dull–he desperately wants to take all your worries away
he's a bit slow, failing to realize your depressive episode for a few days. as it prolongs, he notices how you seem to talk down to yourself and give up easily
sometimes, you don't even start work at all
this is due to your anxiety, he assumes as you think you're incapable of finishing or doing the work satisfactorily enough.
pulling you into an embrace from behind as you work on the projects you've been stuck on for the past few weeks, he gently whispers into your shoulder
"darling, have you been alright recently? are you in need of assistance?" he asks
he presses a loving kiss on your neck and you stifle a chuckle
"it's that apparent, no? i've been under the weather for quite a while now.."
as you explain your reasons and all your troubles to his end, he nods and hums ever so often
"you must be feeling drained, hm? well, frankly enough, i seem to need a break myself."
"eh? albedo where-!!”
he pulls you away from your working place and carries you to the couch, laying you down gently as he smiles at you
"aside from your unmotivated self, i reckon you need reassurance for those intrusive thoughts of yours."

as you go on and state your dealings and troubles, he listens with an almost solemn look

he places his lips onto your own and strokes the back of your head lovingly
for a reserved man, zhongli easily expresses his affection for you in multitudes of ways

Hello hazel!!!! I love reading ur works v much and I honestly l read them every night as my bedtime stories,,,!! ur kind of well known as that diluc simp so I'd like to ask you what do you think his flaws are? no particular reason, I just want to know cuz im kinda bad at analyzing someone's personality,,

what do I think are his flaws? mmm -- well based on what we know about him I’d say ::
he’s stubborn - like really stubborn. if you try to convince him of something he can’t get behind it’s going to be a struggle; you want to go on that dangerous mission with him - absolutely not, his foot is down (no matter how capable you are he would refuse, though if you show up anyway he will deal only to give you a stern lecture afterward)
he’s impatient - we know this from his character profile. this is likely why he does things on his own so often - it’s faster and he doesn’t have to wait around for things (same diluc same - why wait when I can just do it myself)
he’s reckless - because he’s stubborn/headstrong and impatient he puts himself in dangerous situations without really thinking - though I imagine he’s learned to plan in the background enough to be prepared for most anything, even the unexpected
he’s distrustful - you have to prove to him your worthy of his trust for him to allow you to be anywhere near him. and that’s not just as a partner, but a friend -- he helped the traveler out of curiosity and i’m certain to make sure they weren’t a threat (after seeing their skill he began to trust them)
his emotional intelligence isn’t very good - meaning, he might be able to read people but he’s not very good at reading their emotions and knowing how to respond. I’d imagine he was a bit better at it when he was younger but now he’s seen things he can’t forget and has adapted to survive so he might misunderstand your emotional responses without meaning too (anger is easy to read, distress and sadness are harder - poor boy will try to fix all your problems even if you don’t want him too)
he works too hard - the boy gonna pass out, doesn’t know how to relax, feels guilty for relaxing; thinks he has to prove himself when he literally doesn’t but refer back to point 1 if you’re going to try and convince him otherwise
I’m sure there are others I could think of, but generally these are the major ones i think about when I write for him -- if you can be patient, open, and show him your worthy of his trust he will consider you someone near and dear all his life <3
