I impulsively decided to include him in the AU, which was not planned a t a l l but I managed to find him an interesting enough backstory that can easily fit in with the rest so Gem Shadow is a thing now

Gonna keep his gem type a secret for now, I'll try and reveal that as dramatically as I can--

Originally planned for this one to be a modern, pride themed sketch but only just added Sky to the drawing...4 months too late--

I only ever use the one regular brush for everything I draw but decided to, just this once, use the marker tool in Sai 1

Came out looking p great for a first time if I do say so myself 👀 I missed this boy a lot

Redesigned pon Sun a Sky real quick so these are now their Post-SS designs !

Still not entirely satisfied with Sky's color palette but it'll do for now

The color wheel thingies are ridiculous please don't--don't look at them, they're so big-

And did a quick, clearer ref for Sky !

Poor lad loses his strongest Skyloftian features whenever he's not in his own era--

Sky's a pretty small horse, got pretty short legs, though that's never stopped him from packing a punch

A Shadow Pon !

One of his many forms, and out of all of them, this one's the cutest

Quickly sketched some lads the other day for studies, added colors for the heck of it

I actually tried drawing a background this time !

Messed up the ropes cause I rushed through them but I'm really satisfied with this piece all in all !

As I was drawing I kept feeling like I've seen this scene before and turns out, it's from a fanfic ! The original setting, in the actual fic, is a bit different though, seems like I subconsciously re-enacted that part

The fic is ''Wound" by Novirp13 and it's a fantastic read I really really recommend it !

Anyway, young Wind setting sail for the first time and having to face the harsh reality that is the life of a sailor

I just wanted to draw a p nose on a p bb Sky, I didn't mean to go this far but then I liked the face so I thought, ''hell yeah, let's continue''

I then added colors, and a background, and a context, and shading and lighting and did all of that on top of the very raw stretch that I never bothered to clean so it's a bit of a mess

I honestly don't know where the feathers came from, they just spawned out of nowhere and, obviously, they're as raw as the rest of the 'lineart' (I also c a n n o t draw feather digitally, dunno why)

So yeah, here's a young, feathery Sky, praying for some reasons

So many things went wrong with this drawing but I'm just gonna take a step back, shut it, and admire the queerness

It didn't come out as clean as I would have liked I'll admit, it's kinda hard to see what's going on and the bow looks a little rushed (it was) but I'll post some more about it to clear all of that up ^^ (hopefully soon)

I'm currently working on (my own version of) a Steven Universe inspired AU for @linkeduniverse .

Here's what I've come up with for now, it's just some concept art for Four but I like it so here goes nothing.

If you have any idea what the others' gems might be you're more than welcome to leave any kind of suggestion, I haven't figured all of them out yet but I'm getting somewhere ^^

I can totally imagine that at some point a few of them, prolly Wild, Wind and maybe Warriors out of pettiness, went around whatever Hyrule they were in and ‘tested’ a bunch of doors to try and find a superior door to Legend’s. (spoiler alert they can’t it is after all the Master Door) Legend just sits smugly in the background cause while he may not be happy about the door and resulting teasing he’s sure as hell gonna take pride in having the best door.
