Saying the five month hiatus was because the film crew got robbed and that they had to save money to replace their equipment was the funniest way to explain the time jump

I was looking up Abbot Elementary fanfic, and I specifically wanted Gregory/Janine but I’m just seeing Barbara/Melissa. This just goes to show that people write fan fiction for what they thought the show lacked
