Apparently my brain doesn’t like to draw when I plan time to draw. 😐

The Struggle of being Imaginative and very hyperactive:

someone asked if I do commissions and I wanted to say yes but like… I’m not supposed to have social media and I was thinking about it. I should have just done it for free but like I didn’t think about it until it would’ve been weird to respond for a second time :(

as soon as i make something, i end up feeling really frustrated with it. i know this is a common experience, but it’s so hard working on something and being proud of it, and then being like “whoops, it actually has the same color issue all my other art has that I can’t figure out how to solve.”

You ever drawing and notice your anatomy's fucked, but can't tell what's wrong? I'm trying to learn to draw humans and like damn.

I've been staring at this bitch's hand for like, five minutes. I've never drawn hands before, I cannot tell what is wrong with him. I also almost forgot his thumb and had to add it last minute.

Hi!! Here we have a silly character design to get my brain to draw again, because I have the worse combo of art block and motivation rn!! :3

A little bit about the character:

-they're a creature

-they love eating oranges

-obssesed with summer! but hates watermelon

Also they attract humans by being oddly alluring and kill them so they can consume them! they are a shapeshift creature so like they change forms a lot to attract their prey plus they usually adopt the person's lifestyle until they get bored/hungry and go back to hunting :3c

I totally regret making so polished design refrence drawings. Paiting is going great and they looking gorgeous, but I can't shake off a feeling of repetition since there isn't that much to add and invent. I'm upgrading and fixing mistakes from before, but it don't bring same satisfaction.

Anyway, I'll continue drawing it bit after bit everyday, intertwining with more doodly drawings.

Discord awatars I made for my friend and their gf. It took way too long, about 3 weeks since I started (I drew only on weekends but still). Corners is space for their photos or other fun additions.

And a mildly infuriating experience i want to share: me:Here is a rough sketch showing basic positioning and style. Yipee! her: I think head to body ratio is normally obout 1/7, and here is 1/3.

Literraly it is the same or even smaller head size as in first sketch.
