70.9% of 2808 reported incidents are verbal harassment

21.4% of 2080 reported incidents are shunning

8.7% are physical assault

8% are workplace discrimination or refusal of service

6.4% are coughed/spat on

Two Asian American women were stabbed at a San Francisco bus stop; eyewitness reports say the assailant "casually walked away in broad daylight"

An Asian man walking with his 1-year-old child in a stroller in San Francisco was punched in the head and back multiple times

A stranger on the New York subway slashed a 61-year-old Filipino American passenger's face with a box cutter

An Asian American woman in New York City was struck in the head with a hammer by an unidentified assailant who demanded that she remove her mask

Asian American restaurant employees in New York City told the New York Times they now always go home early for fear of violence and harassment

An Asian American butcher shop owner in Sacramento, California found a dead cat - likely intended for her - left in the store's parking lot; police are investigating it as a hate crime

An Asian American family celebrating a birthday at a restaurant in Carmel, California, was berated with racist slurs by a Trump-supporting tech executive

Several Asian Americans homeowners say they've been abused with racial slurs and had rocks thrown at their houses

New York police arrested a man who assaulted a woman during a protest against anti-Asian racism

A grieving family received a hateful letter on the day of their father's funeral, telling them to "pack your bags and go back to your country where you belong"

A school board candidate of Vietnamese descent in Portland, Oregon, found a note with the words "Kung Flu" on her doorstep

A medical worker of Filipino descent in Los Gatos, California was shoved to the ground from behind by an assailant who told her to "go back to [expletive] China"

A Thai woman was brutally beaten and robbed of her phone while commuting on a train in San Francisco

These incidents are best explained by the "widespread omission" of Asian Americans within cultural conversations, according to Amanda Nguyen, an activist, and the founder of the Rise civil rights not-for-profit organization.

Of the 832 incidents reported in California, many included anti-Asian slurs and references to China and the coronavirus. One assailant yelled about "bringing that Chinese virus over here" during an attack against an Asian-American man at a San Francisco hardware store on May 6. The assailant reportedly also said "Go back to China," "F*ck you, Chinaman" and "F*ck you, you monkey." In Santa Clara on June 16, a man kicked a woman's dog and then spat at her, saying, "Take your disease that's ruining our country and go home."

Asian American families shouldn't be worrying about returning back to school, buying groceries, working, and so on, in their country. They shouldn't be worrying about their family going on a morning walk and not coming back.

Yes, black lives STILL matter. Yes, LGBTQ+'s rights still matter. But I feel like we are overlooking the Asian Hate.

BLM, LGBTQ+, Asian Hate, women's rights, and more. They're NOT a trend, and I DESPISE those people who see these as a trend to get more fame. We are all in this together, there's no race in this pandemic. The virus isn't racist, you won't get the virus BECAUSE you are white, you won't get the virus BECAUSE you are black. Skin colors do NOT matter to the virus, so why should they matter to us? If we want to end this pandemic, we need to fight TOGETHER.

Make this make sense Japanese media..

So due to the protests happening in America due to the in-justices black people face in this country because of systematic racism at the hands of our government and police, this is sparking a movement all over the world among-st the whole Black diaspora that has similar issues as well. This has also spread to Japan and was covered by their local news stations via TBS and NHK. So tell me why TBS interviewed a white supremacist about the riots?

They also interviewed AtsugiriJason, a comedian and last time I checked..there is a American Black comedian in Japan as well named  Ike Nwala  but can’t have someone black discuss our issues it seems, who is already whitesplaining whats going on as well

Then you guys animate and broadcast on national television the protests for children…..JAPANESE CHILDREN, my ex-students and my OWN JAPANESE NIECE AND NEPHEW  depicting black people as “scary foreigners” burning and protesting because we’re unhappy we make less money then white PEOPLE, but still able to sing the blues,and once again..leaving out WHY WE’RE PROTESTING AND WHAT SPARKED IT WHY NOW!?

Even Naomi Osaka was under attack by random Japanese netizens for posting about Black lives matter and calling out the anti-blackness in her own mom’s country! Her country who she plays TENNIS FOR!

The same Japanese media, that aired a commercial of her lightening HER SKIN just LAST YEAR!

    Look, I know Japan isn’t just about these 3 genre’s listed..but its still part of their media and media..can definitely SHAPE and construct a society! For the people who might want to say “Well, Japan doesn’t owe you anything! Make your own anime!”Nah…they do..they  owe my future kids an explanation why this shit is still prevalent, but lemme bring up something that you guys probably didn’t know.. There are two black brothers in Japan right now! They own an anime studio..in TOKYO named  D'ART Shtajio. 

They worked on lots of anime that you guys watch, from One Piece to SNK. but the stories they want to release has yet to be picked up…I WONDER WHY!?

Ah…so…looks like their original stories don’t have any white people..and I guess no Japanese people either..which is a double STRIKE OUT in Japanese media it seems. But yet I can always get a wonderful doses of random white washed isekai anime every freaking change of the season or if you guys try to fake promote diversity in Japan, the white foreigner or half white/half Japanese kid is always the safest bet amirite?!  And I’am not pulling shit out of my ass, THIS IS a smidget of the anime out there that is PROVING MY POINT for the last got damn 70+ fucking years!

and the one Black character they do have in the new 2020 anime releases via Appare Ranman HAS A FUCKING NOOSE ON HIS NECK!!?!

Which ties right back into why they didn’t even interview a Black man living in Japan to spread information about why these protests are happening and how they were able to allow this shit to be shown on television and have a white supremacist and a White Comedian chime in on the issues happening in America specifically in the BLACK COMMUNITY! WHITE SUPREMACY/WHITE WORSHIPING! Its 2020, and this shit has GOT TO STOP! Their are Black people in Japan, specifically Baye McNeil, a Black man born and raised in Brooklyn who is very outspoken on Black issues in that country, and they didn’t bother to ask for his report..and you know why?! Because HE’S BLACK! 

He’s not the Blue Eyed/Blond haired foreigner that they adore and hold to in terms of ideals which is “American/Western #1” so dearly… The Black people they never want to use in Anime/Video Games/Movies unless its for stereotypical shit like I posted above! (Just like how when they promoted Spiderman into the spiderverse movie, their trailer focused more so on Peter. B parker and never revealed that Miles Morales was Afro-Latino! The Trailer is still on youtube so ya’ll know I’am not lying)

The Black people they want to ignore and see as undesirable compared to WHITE PEOPLE! The Black people who if they happen to marry and have children with have a higher chance of being  ostracized even in adult hood more so than other half children that don’t have the complexion  (white/light skin) for the protection!

You can’t be singing about worshiping America, Come on baby America USA (DA PUMP recently sang a song about loving the USA in 2018..with Trump’s ass in office..fucking NICE eh?!) without acknowledging the racism that is ingrained in this country! So a big fuck you to NHK, TBS, the entire Japanese media that breeds this shit into their society..FUCK YOU! And just like DA pump sang in their USA song.. America did inspire you guys..and white America inspired the racist ideals you have towards us too.. But we’re done…. We’re DONE WITH THIS SHIT! So if you want to continue worshiping White America and being inspired by them, well its time to wake the fuck up and change your tune cause this type of mindset is about to get erased and we have no time for shadows of the past to try and stay relevant in the present and the future!

Calls for Justice for Aurora’s Violinist Elijah McClain Grow

Elijah McClain was a kind and gentle 23 year old who worked as a massage therapist in Aurora, CO. On his lunch breaks from work, Elijah would go to the animal shelters and play violin for the animals because he thought that they were lonely in their cages and thought that the music would calm them. 

In August 2019, Elijah went to the gas station to buy some iced tea for himself and his cousins. Because he suffered from anemia he would often wear a ski/ runner mask over his face to stay warm. On his way home, the Aurora Police department were called to reports of a “suspicious man.” 

(Warning: for violent description) Elijah was apprehended by a group of three cops, despite committing NO crime and being unarmed. A struggle occurred, and he was held in a very dangerous carotid hold around his neck while he cried for help, cried out that he couldn’t breathe, cried out that he was nonviolent and couldn’t even kill a fly, and was repeatedly throwing up. Elijah weighed a mere 140 pounds. You can hear on the audio footage, an officer instructing another to move their body camera out of view.

While 3 Aurora Police Dept officers violently restrained him they called Aurora Fire Dept, who injected him with ketamine (a powerful drug used to tranquilize horses or in surgeries by a trained anesthesiologist and illegal to be administered by anyone else) even though he was already cuffed and calm.

He went into cardiac arrest , slipped into a coma, and his family was advised to take him off life support 6 days later.

The cops were transferred to another department but never received charges.
