I've Joined Two More Writing Websites.
I recently decided to take the leap and join Medium and Vocal Media, which have both been added to my Linktree. I’m grateful to be a freelance writer. I love what I do, and I enjoy working with my clients. But sometimes, I need a creative outlet to just express myself and interact with others. I can do just that on Medium and Vocal Media. Now, I don’t expect to make bank on either website (I was just accepted into the Medium Partner Program and Vocal Media pays per view. I’ll have to elaborate on each website at some point). It would be a nice little side hustle; spare change to add to my savings account. However, I know that’s going to take time to get to that point. I’ve been freelance writing since 2009, so this isn’t my first rodeo. I took my time gaining followers on Medium, so I can take my time with earning on both websites. Right now, I’m enjoying having other places to share my thoughts, feelings, and experiences. :) And hey, maybe I’ll make some new friends! I don’t really have a lot of friends in the writing community because it’s not something I thought or knew to branch out in, so maybe that’ll change on these websites.
I did link both of my pages in the opening paragraph, so you’re welcome to follow me on either if you have an account and want to (but no pressure or obligation). Okay, I do have a freelance writing order for a client to work on, so I need to get that finished. I may catch you all a little later. :)

First Official Blog...Is being poor dangerous?
For those who feel like they do not have enough money to pay for college, buy decent clothing like certain name brands and makeup, etc., or even make enough to buy food from the market, is being poor dangerous? Well, speaking from experience, I can answer that yes, is is highly dangerous, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. People in the U.S mostly live in cities like New York, California, New Orleans, and Malibu to name some, and most of these cities are segregated. Each person, family, friend has a different background, therefore they have a different connection with others unlike themselves. This means different levels of inequalities, especially for those who are not rich. This has all to do with the economic structure between poor, middle class and the wealthy. Segregation is everywhere, and in cities, it is a mix of ethnicity, gender, citizenship, and class, and when they become connected, they create systems of labor, respect and suffering. Everyone is structurally vulnerable, as they participate in a #gray zone. Primo Levi describes it as the knowledge of a corrupt system but trying to survive within it, whether you are at the top or at the bottom, and when you are at the bottom, the system is designed to make people remain there, especially if you are poor working class, a different race than the majority, and when you are, well, illegally living here, which is unfortunate. So, what do you think? Do you believe that being poor is dangerous?

Hey guys now that Tiktok is shit officially, can we go back to making website blogs where we talk about random shit and just follow each other like we used to
But not in a Tumblr way where we have blogs, but legit ones where we just talk and make full posts. People can dedicate them to hobbies and do mixed stuff! There can be a blog with dedicated use of directory where people can submit theirs
I think that it would be a good way for people to bring back an older form of "social media". People have been talking about having another shift because of Meta/X/Tiktok doing shitty things (and I personally don't want to go to Xiaohongshu because I am afraid Americans will heavily disrupt the app)
I will literally make one and teach you guys how to make WordPress blogs/use WordPress is a very basic article how-to. We had to make them for my classes
