The sun. Sky. Grass. Trees. Nothing has changed, everything is the same. As if nothing had happened, nothing happened. But something must have happened to this world in several thousand years of sleep, right? The on-board computer could not deceive. Same way?.. The sun still burns my eyes, it is still bright, just as warm. The sky is still blue, can you sleep? It seems that all that you feel now is childish joy that the on-board computer was mistaken and now everything is fine, your friends are now having fun, your parents are now alive and well, and your beloved cat is now sleeping somewhere. As if nothing had happened. This pleasant sensation in the chest, this inexplicable lump of something warm, so warms the soul. Joy because the sky is blue because the wind rushes past you, joy because you are not the only person on earth. After all, there is definitely someone right now who, like you, enjoy everything. This is hope, isn't it? Even after many years have passed, you believe that you are not alone in this cursed, but such a familiar world. Wow, you smile! Having touched your lips with your fingers, you could not even think that at last someday you will feel heavenly again, that your soul is already taking off into the sky. I think the on-board computer will be very glad to you. It's so good here. Youth is hard to forget. But you can change everything. Then why did he say take the gun? This is the only thing that worries you right now, someone should attack? Monsters? Maybe something else? Anxiety, as you well know this concept, this feeling. Dark thoughts fill your mind again, making your head ache. With the pistol in your right hand, you scanned the area once more and headed straight where your eyes were looking. I want it so, I want it so- "guys, I think we're late .." Can not be. You abruptly stopped your quick steps, listening to the conversation of strangers. You were standing behind several large trees. It’s scary that I haven’t heard other voices for so long, for eternity I have only heard my own and virtual voice of your ship. Someone's quiet and gentle voice was heard very close, so calm. The on-board computer was faulty; there must be someone here. Someone is alive. How good. The night is getting stronger, I can't deal with it “Don't worry, the holiday will last for a long time! Custard Cookie will understand us, because we helped our friends with the transportation of food for the holiday! " And that boyish voice was so cheerful, so vaguely familiar, like your former classmate. That's who he reminded you of. He had almost the same voice. Could it be- Carefully peering out from behind a large trunk of a green tree, the unimaginable was happening before your eyes. Don't be surprised if you stumble upon a 4.7-foot-high living cookie, okay? Remembering the words of your guide, you seem to have forgotten how to breathe. Panic gripped you. Misunderstanding. Anxiety. Did he tell the truth? Once again, these fears and dark thoughts haunt you. Usually anxious people are sure that there are enemies around. If you think so, anxiety is always associated with insecurity and chaos. In anxiety, a person feels that everything is bad, that something needs to be done, but what exactly to do? Unclear. Because of this, you pressed even more against the trunk of the tree, trying to breathe evenly so that these non-humans would not notice you. Heart beats with unbearable speed, hands are freezing like corpses. Is it because they are not like you? Or are you not like everyone else? Home, that's what first came to mind. You urgently need to run home. A sharp jerk and your senses have sharpened hundreds of times. While these cookies are exploringwhere

you have been, you have already been far away. Some more. A little and you're at home.

You're back! I missed you very much. Found someone? How do you like the locals? Why are you crying? Was it not I who warned you about the surface world? No, no, no, do not be afraid, now you are with me, I will protect you.

Could such monsters exist? But what if it's true? That once thousands of years ago, they existed? What if one of them is walking through the forest right now looking for us? What nonsense. Legends are based on truth. Black. This is all you could see with your eyes closed in your cryogenic dream. Isn't it wonderful when you can just fall asleep and wake up in a completely new time, world? What was completely different from the past, became much better and more beautiful? Until one day. Until "this" happened, day X, how else can you call it? The day it went downhill? When did everyone die? Another mistake people made for which they all paid with their lives. Everything turned into dust and heaps of stones. Almost nothing is left of the former civilization. Almost. You, all that is left of a past life, you and your ship, which is well hidden. Far underground, stuck in cryogenic sleep for several thousand years, the cells of your body have mutated, outwardly nothing has changed, like your inner one. This is problem. Even after a few years. Nothing changed. There are no wrinkles, no back pains, not a single hint of old age. Congratulations, you are immortal. It must be great to be far underground in your ship. You don't need water or food, you don't even need sleep. But you keep doing it day after day, year after year. You have read every book in your huge library that rivals the great Library of Congress. Formerly known as the largest library in the world. You are growing vegetables with emergency seeds, under artificial light. Just like your former neighbors. Isn't it wonderful to live and exist alone? This can be a great opportunity for introverts to live, but how can you live life without a pet? Maybe a cat? Or a turtle, a dog? You are already tired of rereading every book for the hundredth time. Tired of watching movies left over from your time. Is it time to go outside? You want friends, am I not your friend? Sorry, sorry, but are you sure? Good let it be your way. Don't be surprised if you stumble upon a 4.7-foot-high living cookie, okay? If you come across too appetizing-looking "dogs" or something like that. So don't forget to take your weapon with you-What? No, no, I'm not saying that everyone will attack you, you cannot be killed, remember? But just in case, take a pistol, I'm worried. Leaving already? Thank you for taking the weapon. Come as soon as possible and be careful. I will wait for you here at home.

Capsaicin Cookie groans as he stretches his muscles, sweat dripping from his forehead. His bare chest was glistening with sweat, a sign that he’d been training for the upcoming Triple Cone Cup event. He was selected as Scovillia’s champion once again, so of course he had to endure the most laborious of training in order to become the strongest! Huffing a sigh, he reaches for a towel to wipe the sweat from his face.

Deciding to take a quick break to regain energy, he collapses onto a nearby bench, the sun painting his sweat covered skin in a bright light. He closes his eyes, allowing himself to bask in the sunlight for a few moments before he returns to his arduous training. After a few moments, he begins to carefully wipe his face, almost ready to get back to training, when he’s suddenly startled by a knock at the door.

“Hun? You alright in there? Can I come in?”

Capsaicin’s ears perk at the sound of your muffled yet gentle voice. A voice that was so indescribably serene and mellifluous. His face brightens as a giddy feeling bubbles inside him. Your appearance at his training session was certainly unexpected, but it was most definitely something welcome.

“Yeah! Come in!” He shouts back at you, perhaps a bit too much excitement creeping into his voice.

The door slowly creaked open, and he watched as you hesitantly peek in for a brief moment. Your eyes meet, and you can see a bright sparkle in his eyes. Pushing the door open, you flash a smile and wave at him, a small bottle of water held in one of your hands.

“How’s your training going?” You ask him as you sit next to him, “I hope you’re not pushing yourself too hard.”

Nodding with a smile at your reply, he takes the water bottle from your hands, thanking you before swiftly chugging its contents. Droplets of water dribble down his chin and onto his chest.

“Haa! Thanks for that, baby!” He tosses the water bottle back to you, wiping his face. He stands, stretching for a brief moment before turning to address you once more, “I’m gonna keep going. Thanks for being here!”

Capsaicin’s bright smile is blinding, and you can’t help but smile back at him. Giggling, you decide to stay and watch him train. What was the harm in it? You couldn’t just come in and immediately leave. Sitting back on the bench, you watch as he continues to train vigorously, the sun hitting him perfectly, almost making him look majestic. Smiling at the thought, your eyes begin to wander a bit.

Your eyes first land on his toned chest for a brief moment, but you immediately reprimand yourself and shift your gaze. Face flushed, your eyes stop at his wrists. An involuntary hum escapes your lips.

“Hey, you took your cuffs off?”

“Huh?”

He stops and turns to you, his face twisted into an expression of confusion.

“Your cuffs.”

You signal at his wrists, which are in fact missing the cuffs that he so often wore. Capsaicin coughs for a moment, averting his eyes as he rubbed his wrist sheepishly.

“Oh, uh, yeah! I- uh, didn’t want them to get in the way. Sorry.”

You narrow your eyes. “What are you apologizing for?”

He flushes slightly. “My scars are a little unsightly-”

“I think your scars look cool.”

Capsaicin pauses. His face remains unmoving, and it’s almost like you can hear the gears turning in his head. “Huh? What?” His embarrassment rises further when he sees you giggle at him.

You stand, walking over to his much taller form. When you stop in front of him, he gulps quietly. He watches as you hold your hand out, and say to him, almost in a whisper, “Can you give me your hand?”

Without words, he hesitantly puts his hand on yours. His heart flutters at the sight of you gently wrapping your much smaller hands in his. You carefully intertwine your fingers with his, suppressing a smile as you watch him stare at your hands in awe.

“Your scars aren’t ugly, okay? Listen to me.” Your stern but soft tone surprises him, and he stiffens. “Don’t be ashamed of your scars, hun. They aren’t ugly or unsightly. They make you look tough! You’re strong, because of your scars, love. There’s nothing wrong with it. I still love you all the same, hm? I’m never going to think less of you just because you’ve got scars.”

He swallows. The words get caught in his throat, but you don’t mind. Your thumb lightly brushes over his healed scars, and he shudders. Your touch was so gentle, so loving. Capsaicin selfishly wanted more of it.

“Sorry, does that hurt?” You quietly ask.

He gives you no verbal response, only shaking his head quietly.

A smile forms on your lips as you land a small kiss on his knuckles. “Then remember what I said, okay?”

His face heats up, hotter than any of the lava he’d ever created. Tears gather in his eyes, but he refuses to let them fall. He simply mutters to you, “…Thank you.”

“Of course, hun. How about you take another break? I know you just did, but I think you deserve this. We can go out to your favorite restaurant.” You offer, sending him another sweet smile. His stomach flips at the sight.

He doesn’t reply to you. Instead, he stares at you expectantly. “…Can I have another kiss?” He asks, nervously gesturing towards his cheek.

You playfully snort, lightly punching his shoulder. “Not when you’re this sweaty, you dork.”

Finally, he laughs the boisterous laugh you so desperately wanted to hear. He flexes his muscles, mostly in an attempt to show off to you. It works. You giggle at his antics.

“I am pretty tough though, aren’t I?” He tries to sound confident, but there's a slight hint of uncertainty in his voice. He slings his arm over your shoulder, his signature toothy grin present. He looks over at you, eyes bright, but you can see right through him.

• Despite Pitaya’s very brash personality, they are almost a completely different cookie with you.

• On the outside, they love picking fights(despite usually losing). But on the inside, it’s a whole different story.

• Loves to be held. They will purr loudly when held. Bonus points if you stroke their head gently while holding them.

• Likes resting their head on your lap, especially after fighting with Hollyberry again. They’ll mumble something in frustration before curling up in your lap like a cat.

• Cuddles are a must! Though if they’re the big spoon, good luck escaping from their grip. They have an iron grip on you. The only way for you to escape is to wait for them to get up.

• Or you can bribe them with kisses. That also works wonders.

• Speaking of kisses, they love them. They won’t admit it, but they love it when you pepper their face with kisses.

• Hollyberry once caught them being all soft and mushy with you, and she has never let them live it down.

• Seeing the Red Dragon clinging to you like a teddy bear was almost like a punch in the face. She almost thought she wasn’t seeing things correctly.

• Though her shock was quickly overridden by amusement. Her amusement was further amplified as Pitaya sprang up, face burning in embarrassment and humiliation, and hissed at her.

• You were almost sure a fight would have broken out between the two, as you watched Pitaya Dragon pull out their sword. The dragon only reluctantly stood down when you patted their shoulder.

• Hollyberry later asked you about them in private. She was surprised you were able to become so close to the dragon. She even invited the two of you out to drink some berry juice!

• Of course, Pitaya flat out declined her invitation, too embarrassed to face her again.

• They like to have you close to them at all times. Whether it be to protect you from danger, or to just have you close to admire you.

• In addition to this, they will step in front of you when faced with anyone who dares to challenge the dragon, or even worse, someone who dares to take their treasures from them.

• Out of all the treasures they possess, you are the only one they would risk their life and limb for.

• Is very possessive. Holds you close to them when in the presence of the other dragons. Glares at them when they stare for too long.

• It’s not like the dragons want to steal you away. They’re mostly looking at Pitaya for their odd behavior.

• When they get injured by some brave warrior, they will hesitantly limp to you and have you patch them up.

• They have to sit through your gentle lecture while you patch up their bloody wounds. Of course, they’re rewarded with kisses afterwards.

• Purrs like a cat, but their tail wags like a dog. Get ready to see a lot of that when giving them physical affection.

• All in all, they love you very very much. They love when you kiss and hug and cuddle them, but they would never let anyone else see that side of them except for you.

• You are their most precious treasure, and they will continue to treat you as such.

notes : hello ! I apologize that this took a massively long time. For reasons unknown I had quite the difficulty writing for him for the first time. Though, I may start completing requests before or after I post his courting hcs ( it will depend if my mind starts blanking out again .. )

- the dragon rider can't go on a day without giving you atleast one flirtatious remark, or even a praise ! Whether or not you swoon over his words is up to you.

- how could he not ? he thinks of you as a divine god that simply roams around dragon city, and for him to successfully pull you ? He feels so complete !

- adding along to this, this cookie greatly enjoys classic, romantic gestures. He will not be embarrassed to remove his coat, covering the very obvious puddle, and assisting you to walk over it, all the while looking at you with such love, one that you could only ever see in romance movies, and could only ever be described in poetic novels

- before becoming his partner though, you need to be approved by buttercream first ! He feels that it is dictation that it's not only him who has trust and love for you. If you want to be his, make sure to give as much love to his beloved dragon ( wyvern ) as you do for him ( he won't admit the fact he gets quite jealous of her sometimes .. )

- he most definitely enjoys a partner that can beat him up if they wanted to, but also a cookie that's sweet, who's willing to embrace his affections ! If you travel with him on the way to dragon's valley, buttercream can sense the sickeningly lovestruck heart eyes he gives your way as you fight, supporting you from above.

- " hahahah !! that's my lover right there ! go mayhem on them sweetie ! ~ " he has most likely bragged about you during the travel too ( you don't know if he loves you too much or he wants to embarass you, you appreciate it nonetheless )

- tries to fight aswell to impress you too, but he's quite embarrassed of his low hunting score in comparison to the others ( you and tarte tatin cookie have a tied score together ! )

- although, he does not mind a partner that relies on him aswell ! in fact, it gives him a very massive ego boost. Of course he wouldn't mind in becoming your knight in shining armor ! Saving his significant other from any form of danger ! ( even if, in most cases, they aren't really harmful )

- " do not worry darling ! THE dragon rider has arrived to rescue you ! " and it's simply trivial things such as taking you away in unpleasant conversations, carrying you bridal style. He will be quite amused to see your embarassed face

- on a more serious side, whether you can fend for yourself or not, he is willing to sacrifice limb and body just for you to be alive, breathing, safe, who is still there with him. You had promised him you would stay until his very last crumb, he isn't willing to give up on that so easily.

- and as his partner, soaring through the sky or even going on lovely walks with buttercream is an everyday date ! ( he is a firm believer that a day is incomplete without a small date with you ! ), most of the time visiting the bar for a drink or two afterwards ( typically more than just two anyways .. ). Be sure to prepare yourself to bring him home, as he's too busy being a flirt with you than to think about resting up !

- alongside this, it's typically difficult to achieve privacy when he has a swarm of fans behind his tail, he tries his very best to make it up to you at the end of the day ~

- he is very understanding if your jealousy sparks up because of his behavior ( he can't imagine seeing you acting the same as him to any other cookie either ! ) and constantly tells cookies that he is most definitely taken by the loveliest cookie on earthbread !

- some of which are either not that much of a fan with him or isn't even a part of dragon city ( hollyberry, wildberry and pitaya dragon cookie ), which leads to more than just the citizens being aware of your relationship due to how obvious he is about it

- everyone can see how hopelessly in love royal margarine cookie is with you. The second longer glances he gives your way and the oh-so enchanting eyes of his that stares at you with such love and affection ! All his fans simply dream of being you !

- behind all of this though, he definitely has a softer side indoors ! He is reduced to nothing but a smitten man, clingy for his lover. Please give him hugs and kisses ! He feels himself falling harder for you every time you praise him

- the cookie feels as if you're too out of his league, and dreads the thought of you finding out his true identity, the actual weak and cowardice royal margarine cookie. Would you leave him if you had found out ? He would leave himself too

- now with royal margarine, he's insistent of you opening up to him, whether that be negative or positive. He thinks that it is a strengthening bond to open up and learn more about eachother !

- but because of his inner thoughts, he isn't as willing to open up about his feelings, maybe never opening up at all. The only way he'll ever open up to you is when he's drunk (which makes him feel lower most of the time), he feels like a weak cookie if he ever tries opening up while sober. He dislikes being a weak and simple cookie than his persona tells him to be

- he feels like a failure for not pursuing what he truly wants, and to be reminded of that as he opens up never makes him feel any lighter. Do not be insistent with it ( he will avoid such topics in every possible way ), give him some time to be more trusting of you. Sooner or later, you won't need alcohol just for this man to open up ( will only open up around 1/4 of how he feels but to him its a big step ! )

- he cannot avoid the feeling of being judged, to be completely seen of who he truly is. To even think about finally trusting you with who the true royal margarine cookie is like without getting wasted is a big enough step for him, for you to figure out that the royal margarine isn't as royal as he seems.

- He feels as if he takes any more than one step then he will truly break, he never wants to reach that point, especially if you are there to witness it all, the littlest thought of it makes him shiver from humiliation. He needs to seek out buttercream for some form of comfort, he wouldn't know what he'd do if you ever found out

- you do find out though, just not in the circumstances he wants..

- nonetheless, coward or confident, you continued to love and adore the cookie you chose to be with, and royal margarine cookie feels happier than succeeding his goal in becoming a true dragon rider. The cookie did not care if he could never pursue his goal, you and buttercream can never replace, nor can it ever compare the happiness that you both give him !
