It was difficult for me to portray this character as recognizable, but I did my best.
The hard one. But I really like him. And he is a good villain.

pirates of the caribbean really introduced an eldritch octopus man who kills indiscriminately and torments the dead as their poster villain and then you watch the movies and it's like, "oh no, actually the worst villain in this series is a small white british man who functions as the herald of capitalism" and that was very very brave of them

As a person who has Beckett as one of my favorite characters I share mutual thoughts with whoever wrote this.
If you say that you think Beckett's actions are acceptable because of his horrible past next to other people don't be surprised when it starts an argument. I understand why people would want to defend their favorite characters but this is a serious subject that in my opinion can't and shouldn't be excused.
"I'm sorry, but I can't understand the people who excuse Beckett's shitty actions based on his shitty childhood, Jack's childhood was all kinds of fucked up and he still didn't trade slaves, but that's just me I guess."

Ok so the one I sketched with a red pencil is from a DMNT concept art thing I found. If you know who made it, please tell me. The second one is my own attempt. The last one is a Harbor Town sketch. I tried a cartoon like style but it didn't quite work. The bird is something that has been appearing in my dreams for a while. This is not the first time I drew him. He is called Currant.
