Im so enchanted by how the Master is originally characterized. He's devious and power hungry and his whole gimmick is hypnotism and disguise and he's frankly a little stupid but when he isn't manipulating people or allying himself with destructive forces out of personal gain, it's always out of fear and it seems to be an expected outcome that he'll end up backed into a corner and lash out. It only takes two serials for us to learn that the master is SCARED of the doctor, tied up with complicated feelings of care and resentment. This isn't something new who lacks, per se, but their fear is always hidden under their veneer of a cackling maniac. it's very clear from Delgados performance that this pervasive fear is a feature, not a bug, and he is not just naturally reserved, careful, and meticulous because he's a machiavellian evil genius, its because he's paranoid.

Quick question for the Dr Who fandom here, but I need to give context.

I'm making 3 polymer clay daleks (2005 design). 1 is almost done, another will also be a drone. But I'd like a Supreme to boss them around and I'm stuck on colours.

So I'm asking Tumblr to know: which Dalek Supreme / other leader rank has the best colours?

Please note that this is likely just the colours I will use. The time controller would likely get rings, the red version would probably get the butresses and both all versions would be rocking the modern eyes and standard lights but besides that, I'll just be adding colours to the 2005 drone.

may not look like much but this is a victory. Ive been struggling to get my laptop to work nice with me on many projects (its very old cant replace it yet) but this , this is the base of a Dalek from Dr who. using a program to build it from scratch in life scale .Th e end goal of this project in two fold . to have a ready made model i can use on my computer for art and to be able to build a life size model for cosplay and fun looking to also make real life miniature ones for my son.

I feel like doctor x rogue should be called rogue timeline but that’s just me

I feel like doctor who should’ve done so much more with the fact that rose could do gymnastics (mentioned in the first episode of series 1)

Imagine, the doctor, rose and Jack are all trapped in a situation where the only escape would be if someone knew gymnastics, and rose just saves the day. IT WOULD BE AWESOME

Jack harkness the man you are. He kisses the doctor and rose and then like dies right after, then gets revived cause of roses love for him. Then he proceeds to look for the doctor for centuries after getting abandoned and then proceeds to fall inlove with his co worker who let a cyber man into the hub. They flirt infront of their dead co workers corps and then the lover fucking dies

The doctor fits the whole ‘time casts a spell on you’ because he’s a time lord, he owns a space ship that travels though time, his species are literally the lords of time.

‘I know I could have loved you but you would not let me’ fits rose because while they are clearly inlove with each other, he refuses to admit it in some way. Like how in doomsday, when rose says she loves him, he responds with ‘quite right to’ and ‘rose Tyler I..’. He doesn’t admit it openly till a while later. But it’s so clear he loves her and she loves him, but he’s scared of loosing her, he knows he will outlive her and he’s scared of that. He can’t loose her, she’s so important to him it would destroy him. AND IT DOES!! With Martha, he’s clearly not over her and it shows.

“You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you” matches with bad wolf, they are destined for each other. She literally finds him in another dimension, trying to save him. She’s mentioned all the time. She’s been haunting the plot since doomsday and hasn’t stopped. They are made for each other and yet they can’t be together. While she gets the metacrisis doctor, he can’t have her in any way. They make me ill!!!

It makes me laugh whenever I remember that the ninth doctor and the eleventh doctor are the same person. I mean the ninth doctor just escaped a war in which he killed all of his kind. He’s quick to anger and tortured a dalek out of pure rage. He’s extremly traumatized and doesn’t know how to handle it. Then there’s the eleventh doctor, a very childish and goofy doctor. He plays soccer with people, he wears fez’s and bow ties because they are “cool”. He’s still traumatized as you can tell by the episode “Amy’s choice” but he’s got support from his friends now, he’s no longer alone.
