Different Moms prompts for Shiro/Shinonome

•Rinkah: Has the worst temper out of them all (like seriously extremely out of hand). Lives for the competition. Bares pride in his marks. Wants to learn everything about the Fire Tribe. Is actually very skilled with a club and comes up with extremely clever ways to use it, which seriously worries his father while his mother is blinded by how proud she is. Guerrilla warfare is his specialty. If he had any say in the matter, he would rather be the Chiefton of the Fire Tribe than the King of Hoshido; In his mind (And literally everyone who isn’t royalty or a noble) it’s better to rule over a group of people than an entire country and it’s also easier to communicate with people, getting to know them, and generally knowing knowledge sooner. ———————————————————— •Scarlet: Is very confused as to what he is. He would rather live in Cheve than be in Hoshido. Is curious about everything about his mom and her culture. Is sorta sour when it comes to Nohr (Only in Birthright thou). Finds it confusing when he starts to wonder why his hair is blonde and not brown & thinks too hard on it that he gets migraines often because of that. Wakes up the earliest out of the Shino’s. Got his fishing skills from his mom. Tries to learn Nohrian but it’s kind of amateur-ish, but at least it’s better than his father’s. Likes to stay under anything (and I mean ANYTHING) when winter rolls around and he slowly starts to hibernate when winter rolls around. Loves to talk bad under his breath in Nohrian when he’s in Hoshido and uses it sparingly when isulting people. ———————————————————— •Mozu: Loves being at or near farmland or the outdoors. Is a sweet bumpkiny farm boy at heart. Had his own garden till a noble man destroys it (actually burns it down because he’s suck in the old way of thinking) thinking it was Mozu’s, only to find out it was the Shiro’s; And Shiro was to put it delicately was fucking pissed to hell and back & personaly burned down said noble man’s house to get back for the garden incident. Can easily pick up a bear with ease. Learned to use a spear because of his mom. Ryoma has a hard time connecting with Shiro because he acts more like a farm boy than a Royal and still has difficulty trying to understand his wife’s past station. ———————————————————— •Kagero: Knows how to use surikens and knows some basic ninja skills. Has the most patience out of all of the Shiro’s. Always trues to one up his mom in arm wrestling but fails constantly. Feels a deep need in him to protect others. Also has Kagero’s.... interesting art talent. ———————————————————— •Orochi: Orochi made him learn a bit of Diviner magic just in case he needed it in the future. He loves to use magic for pranking people and misuses magic more often than he will admit. He knows how to do fortunes, though they aren’t always that accurate. Loves to make prank plans with his mom. ———————————————————— •Oboro: Oboro taught him how to sew and make his own clothes. Makes sure he’s always in line and knows the lastest fashion, after all no Crown Prince should look like a depressed hobo. Learned from his mom on how to use a spear from his mom. Values family more than any other Shiro because of it. Had his own version of Oboro’s demon face. Actually enjoys fashion and making clothes and bonds a lot with Forrest because of it. ———————————————————— •Flora: Loves to use his Ice powers. Loves to use his powers to make people jump at the cold. When excited he sometimes accidentally uses his power and makes a warm snow storm. Loves winter more than any other Shiro. Specifically targets his father when there is enough snow outside. Once he accidentally made icicles pointing at a person when he got super pissed. Once caused a major blizzard that went all over Hoshido during a panic attack. Nohr was pretty confused when that happened when Hoshido asked for help to help with a major blizzard, it took a bit of explaining that Hoshido’s Crown Prince Shiro caused the blizzard and couldn’t stop his own power. ———————————————————— •Camilla: Got her yandere side. Loves his family to the death of him, even his father (though he won’t admit that). Never talk bad about his mom or he will personally torture you in the most painful way possible and erase every trace of your existence. Loves to baby Kiragi. His biggest dream he is to be a parent. Loves kids. Can use an axe almost as well as his mom. Once tried to ride his mom’s Wyvern with out her permission or supervision but failed horribly and her Wyvern hasn’t let him on since. ———————————————————— •Kamui: Is more pessimistic than Kamui herself. Tries not to get to attached to people. Unlike his mom, doesn’t trusting strangers because stranger danger. Loves animals a lot. Is more like a gigantic puppy than Corrin!Siegbert (who is an oversized cabbit). When he first transformed he ran after his father, scaring the ever living sh*t out of him. Mom had to flip him over. Loves to compete in his dragon form. When he first got his dragon stone he chucked it at the enemy instead of, you know, transforming. Loves being near people. Is curious about everything, unless he already knows about it. Growls when he’s mad. His dad, mom, uncle/uncles, aunts, and cousin/cousins have to physically stop him from using every dragon vain he sees. When he uses his brain he’s actually a very skilled tactician. ———————————————————— •Elise: Ew. Hell no. This relationship is just platonic. I don’t ship this for a reason.

I always liked the idea of Corrin giving Dragon rides to all their various siblings/family members so I decided to draw a picture of all 11 of them together! Dragon!Corrin is bigger than in cannon here because I always imagined that Corrin would get bigger eventually (considering what their father looks like).

It took me a long time to make this and it’s not even fully coloured but I think it's good enough to post, so I might finish colouring it one day.

Bonus:

Yea I think Annabelle’s side of the family is gonna be vampires but not in the pop culture sense, more like bat beastman with wicked longevity. Sucking blood is like, a last resort for them if they don’t have anything else to feed/drink from. But, farmer’s tales persist and change, which then becomes popular fairy tales amongst the upper class and is almost entirely different from origin (which I think Camilla would find them amusing. Just imagine her sitting in story parlor with her siblings and some retainers whilst someone tells a vampiric tale and she’s lounging in a chair, embroidering, smiling to herself and trying not to chuckle lol)

They hide themselves bc of that latter and bc of a history of beastman hunting. Garon didn’t know of her true species and still doesn’t, also not knowing his eldest daughter is half such. Annabelle had long figured out that, if crushed, some stones and gems could be mixed with other ingredients and charged with an incantation both written and vocalized to hide nonhuman characteristics. Once Camilla was born, which the delivery was done by servants she had brought with her from home, she had given her the potion but it did not have the same effects. She tweaked it, nearly poisoning and killing her daughter within the first week on multiple occasions, until it worked. As Camilla grew, minor adjustments were being made to it and she taught the girl how to hide herself well, which was also used to assassinate others who tried to get in her way of becoming queen.

I do like to think Annabelle was encouraged by her family when Garon called upon her to try and take the throne at any cost, if anything at first to help stop poaching of beastmen. But then she lost her mind slowly, greed taking over, as she began to experiment with items and magic she never could get her hands on back at home. This also drew Garon away from her, especially during her craze when she was pregnant. She still was a high ranking concubine due to her riches and power, but was visited less and less. That fueled desperation to become more powerful, but then other concubines of lower status (like Elise’s mother, who started out as a mere maid to another concubine) started getting more visits, and that drive her over the edge. She needed to get rid of competition, she needed the king to see her as the only one to sit next to him on the throne. And then she made her first kill, six months in to her pregnancy. A servant’s child, a nobody. Yet, she was thrilled, hadn’t felt that alive in ages. And again, with another child off the street who snuck in not long after Camilla was born. Then again, but this time to an adult that dared collapse next to her as she walked the capital streets.

She started training Camilla in her bloodlust at 3, having her start with poisons, then knives, attempted spells but the girl couldn’t wrap her head around it, then axes, and then back to spell work. The final straw was at 13, Camilla had just gotten home from a slaughter of a concubine, had bathed and washed the blood out of her clothes and off her axe, and hid them away. Annabelle took her by the collar, dragging her to one of the libraries in the castle, and forced her to cast a spell. The girl once again tried, but couldn’t. It escalated, and soon the woman was dragging her kicking and screeching daughter to the window where there was a long drop into rocks and debris. Luckily guards were around and stopped, but Annabelle was locked in her room until further notice. Camilla was officially crowned princess for showing such bravery, and then Annabelle was publicly sent off with a large gathering of servants and healers to live in Palace Macarath. Years later, she was moved to another, smaller villa on the other side of the city.

Garon has long forgotten she existed. Xander visits out of courtesy when he arrives to the city (which is ever less and less) Camilla only goes in to attempt to get information out of her or if Annabelle calls upon her. The other two siblings are not allowed under any circumstances to see her, for she may be brittle and deteriorated, she still has her mana, which is as strong as when she first arrived to the palace prison.

I’ve been really on a hit with fictional mums and also adding things to character idk if you’d call it an au in an au but ANYWAY

Change it up a bit, Leo and Camilla’s mums are still alive but for different reasons.

Camilla’s mum: Annabelle

• was deemed “not stable” so she was just,,,,, sent to an estate Garon had

• reason she was deemed not stable was because her mental health was starting to REALLY deteriorate after she killed her first stray child in the castle, then forcing Camilla to join her little death charade and Garon found out she wanted to throw Camilla down a cliff for disobeying her and sent her away with healers and servants to watch her

• originally a noble woman from a lesser known countryside town somewhere between the capital and the bottomless canyon

• was known as the “Gem Witch” for her magic prowess but also in doing great research in the magical properties of stones and gems, also her family in general was nicknamed the “hermit mages” because they were rarely ever seen outside, and if they were they were casted in shadows or in a carriage

• Garon sought her out as a potential new wife for her knowledge and power and thought it would reflect his kingdom but because of her introverted nature she was turned to a concubine instead

• Camilla rarely goes to see her mother, and she rarely calls for her daughter if ever, and it always has to be supervised visits, often doesn’t tell anyone especially her father who forgets Annabelle even exists

• a secret that stays with Camilla, her mum, and a select few others: her family sure as hell ain’t human lmao I’m not exactly sure what yet, I wanna lean toward a twist on vampires tho. Not exactly blood sucking, but still a revenant of the night that’s far more sentient than other undead

• people outside have a rumor spreading that bc they never hear a death in that family they’re slowly wanting to step down and go out of sight from the government, but the fact is that most of them have been alive for around a couple hundred years and they just don’t want others to find that out

• Annabelle has been slowly deteriorating as her daughter grew older, she’s no longer able to walk and her arm strength is minimal

• she also has started to either only mumble or speak in tongues/riddles, Camilla can barely make anything out, but she did catch the names of deities and dragons a few times, Anankos being one (which the hag only knows because she can see and hear his soldiers, but no one can understand her and brushes it off as old age nonsense. She just wants that dragon and his masses to stfu so she can sleep peacefully at night again lmao)

• she once was very tall and plump, but not so much anymore, she’s very skeletal now, wears a lot of lace, plush fabrics, and gems to hide it

• has a pet snake

• no longer takes a potion/casts spells to hide her non-human side (has slightly longer and pointed ears, two sharper canines, brittle wings, claws rather than nail beds, fur poking through her purple hair)

Leo’s mum: Doris

• has forced dual custody over him, both parents get one full month at a time, she allows him to be apart of the army but when he comes over to her place he is not allowed to take part in any military duties

• only reason she’s still alive is because the magic card game of fate she plays with Garon (aka an Anankos Shell or Sperm Donor as she calls it, yes she knows about Anankos, knew he was there surrounding the foreign king before the transition from the dusk dragon to Anankos was made) which will determine if Garon dies or if Doris loses almost all her magic power at the end of the war, which will further decide who gets to keep Leo and if he has to denounce his princely status

• Garon also went at her with the tactic of giving the kingdom a new queen, Doris saw through it and decided “mess around, find out, get bit”

• she’s from a small city state in between Southern Hoshido, Nohr, and Nestra. She is often called the “Sea Witch”, as majority of the city state is made up of dead people in varying states of decay and normality, tho that but is rarely known to those outside

• she is also not human, she is a sea dragon, one that was once worshipped but forgotten by all except old sailors and those who died at sea (hence how she knows about Anankos, son of a bitch keeps using waterways near her sea to summon his dead soldiers and trying to take HER dead folks that she rightfully earned and laid to rest thank you very much)

• she hides her whole head behind a hat that has a layered black veil sewn under the brim, the hat is kept on her head with a jeweled, long and sharp hair pin

• she can make it available to talk about the Vallite curse but only for a short bit, and those talking about it has to be standing in a few inches of red water she summoned, Leo can’t talk about anything he knows of her until the war is over

• Tol, like wickedly so, she TOWERS over Xander

• has sharp teeth and some scales underneath her eyes and on her forehead, ears are pointed with small fins at the bottom lobes, red eyes and pointed pupils with silver hair and some black streaks. In the dark , the gills on her ribs as well as the oval spots along her sides and legs light up in a deep blue

• her nails are also like claws but appear more humanish, tho they are thick and not easy to break and can elongate and retract into her fingers like blades

As a fun lil tidbit:

• bc they’re only half human, it’s easier to hide with simpler potions that Camilla and Leo knew how to make (they tried to include Corrin but she liked how she looked and bc she was locked up anyway it’s not like the public would see her so they just left it at that)

Anyway yea that’s all I have atm, I’ll prolly be building more on this. Maybe eventually write smth. Idk lol
