Another video I made. This time about Finn doing something stupid that even Mater’s pissed off.
It’s kind interesting to note how Mater rarely gets angry so I chose the one where he’d be at the most angry. Lightning has a lot of angry expression and Holley, I love her reactions. Especially after Finn gives his reason for why he’s got them killed!

Jackson: WHERE ARE THEY?
Holley: Since I can only assume one of our shared associates I’ll just tell you Sally, Francesco, and Sterling are upstairs.
Jackson: Has it look like I give a F*** about where Sterling is!
Holley: In that case,
they are downstairs.
Jackson: Thank you very much!
Holley: Oh and Storm.
Jackson: Hmm?
Holley: Aim for his hood.
(Meanwhile)
Sterling: I just don’t understand women!
Francesco: Neither do I!
Sally: Look it’s simple, just go to her and tell her how you feel.
Sterling: You know what? You’re absolutely right! You guys are so wonderful, thank you so much.
Francesco: He’s gonna get rejected isn’t he?
Sally: Yep.
(Somewhere else)
Jackson: Finally. Finn!
Finn: What the?
Jackson: Where is McQueen?
Finn: I think he’s outside.
Jackson: Where outside?
Finn: I don’t know
Jackson: Finn.
Finn: Yeah?
Jackson: Why is there a helicopter outside?
(Outside in a Helicopter)
Lightning: What do you mean you don’t know how to fly this thing?
Cruz: I mean I don’t really know how to fly this thing. I can’t make it any simpler.
Lightning: Than how did we get up here!
Cruz: I don’t know! I just started pushing buttons!
Lightning: You know at this point, there really isn’t any reason for why I haven’t MURDERED YOU YET!
(Red beeping warning buttons start)
Lightning: WHAT DID YOU DO!?!
Cruz: RELAX! I GOT THIS UNDER CONTROL!
(They crash the helicopter into Thunder Hollow Speedway. But at the speedway...)
Sterling: But I still don’t understand. Why don’t you like me?
Miss. Fritter: You mean other than I’m not into guys fancy-pants? YOUR FRIENDS CRASHED THE HELICOPTER ONTO MY TRACK!
Sterling: It was just the one helicopter...
(Finn is now in a helicopter with Mater hanging on for dear life)
Mater: AAAAHHHHHH!
Finn: QUIT SCREAMING!
(Finn also crashes the helicopter on the track... All of them survived that day)
And so the partying commenced...
Holley: Hey, you know what would be great right now?
Mater: Eating liquorice?
Finn: Punching a swingset!
Cruz: Eating liquorice!
Lightning: Riding a hoverboard!
Cruz: Eating liquorice while on a hoverboard!
Mater: No! Punch the hoverboard! Eat the swingset!
*Some time later*
Lightning: Okay, so we’re all clear on this. The hoverboard of made of liquorice. We can punch it if we want to, but only if it’s near a swingset. Is that good, are we good?
Finn: I like it.
Cruz: Sounds good.
Mater: Can the swingset hover?
Lightning: GRAAAAH!
And then Holley saves their asses while Finn is in la la land waiting to die.
Holley: Oh Ford, you kidnap a tow truck without doing background check, you yell at me for shocking your informant when you had TWELVES HOURS to say something, and you got caught because you didn’t think to look up. And you call Mater the idiot? He at least no idea what he doing most of the time and I was mostly following your orders!
Finn: Shut up woman! We have to stop this violence with the only way I know how: with MORE violence!
Holley: Should’ve seen that one coming. Just promise me your death count will be less than three today.
Finn: Yes.
Omg I just realized Finn is 100% willing to die for McQueen no question.
Finn is the REAL IDIOT!

Lightning’s mother, Marylin McQueen, was a rookie spy who was a year and a half into the job and looked up to Finn McMissile as her role model. She even got to work with him a couple of missions in her career and Finn was impressed with her skill. He saw her as his student, and he even got to meet Monty (Lightning) when he was still a baby, who unfortunately started crying when Finn tried going near him. It was then extremely tragic for Finn when he found out that she was murdered, with her infant son kidnapped by the lemons. He went to her private government funded funeral and swore that he’d someday find her lost child.
Eighteen years later, traveling to Radiator Springs with his clever assistant Holly and trusty tow truck pal Mater, the trio are tagged along by a curious, brave, compassionate, and somewhat naïve stock car they mistakenly captured from the lemon’s oil factories with striking blue eyes that look too familiar to the veteran spy. It must be a coincidence, right?
It’s only when Lightning has been taken back by the lemons and he and his colleagues are on a path straight to death, is when he realizes who he was. He’d found his mentee’s lost son, and he’s lost him again.

So I watched way too many videos about the original plot of Cars 2.
It was so violent😭
But apparently Lightning was supposed to get tangled up with Finn while Mater and Giulia ran away together?
I just find it really funny because Finn and Lightning don't actually speak to eachother directly at anypoint in the final version of Cars 2 lmao

Mooore practice featuring whichever characters I felt like drawing. I think I was mostly struggling with the facial expression but I might have a hang of them now?
Legit reminded me of this of when Leland throws Finn’s turntable out the window
So I ended up going down a rabbit hole because of this headcanon about Finn being a huge fan of the Beatles. So now I will inflict my own headcanons about it on all of you >:)

Finn absolutely loves the Beatles. He will have them playing in the background whenever he can. He finds them soothing and upbeat. Leland absolutely HATES the Beatles. The songs get stuck in his head as soon as he hears one so “it doesn’t matter if you turn it off now, it’s too late!!” Leland is convinced that Finn just knows whenever he finally manages to get a song unstuck from his head because he always plays his damn record again and there goes “Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da” stuck in his head for another 48 hours!
The "fuckin hell" audio in Hey Jude at 2:58 is actually Leland wanting to die after having to listen to this damn song again.
Not me forcing myself to listen to a shit ton of Beatles songs so I can come up with a list of Finns favorite songs....
I relate more to Leland every day.
Finn has a portable turntable that he will bring to stake outs. Leland will glare daggers at him as soon as he hears the record come on.
Finn and Leland have had exactly one falling out over the years and it was over the Beatles. Finn played them one too many times and Leland chucked the turntable out the window of a five story hotel. Finn wouldn't talk to him for a week after that.
Finn gets captured by the enemy again: ah well, at least Leland will save me :)
Leland who has had "Love Me Do" stuck in his head for the past five days: maybe I should just let them kill him this time.
Shit, "Love Me Do" is stuck in MY head. Agghhhgghg
Finn knows all their songs by heart and will mouth along the lyrics. He’ll get some old records and put on Hey Jude with this shit eating grin and Leland is like no plz stop. But Finn is already mouthing along the words and parks himself by Leland's front wheel then starts driving slow circles around him and Leland has to dance with him and he's trying so hard to keep glaring at Finn but aghhhhh
One time Finn and Leland got separated for several months and Leland missed him so much that he contemplated putting on some Beatles songs just so it would feel like Finn was there. He didn’t. But he thought about it. He would not admit this to Finn under fear of death.
I’ll add onto this list whenever I think of more headcaons. Tag which Beatles songs you think are Finn’s favorites :))

Now try imagining how the lemons felt when Leland Turbo was crushed and then came back as a vampire. It would basically be the boat scene from Dracula but ramped up. With his very competent Renfield/James Bond ally? food source? friend? perhaps something more?
Coming from @cars2-renaissance's theory about the location of Leland's death on Tony Trihull, upon the cubing of the spy the lemons were relieved and immediately boxed up the corpse to present to Zundapp as proof that C.H.R.O.M.E. Tony Trihull had a smidge of uneasiness at Leland's cubed body, but then brushed it off as merely nerves.
No one is stationed to keep an eye on the box as preparations are made to move the supplies for the Allinol and the camera ray gun. They don't notice the funny rattling and creaking as Leland's body is forcibly uncubed and reformatting him into an unrunning fuelthirsty vampire car. Then the newly risen Leland dug through the floor of the box and into the oil rig once it was placed down.
The first thing that was amiss was a very subtle feeling that all of the lemons were being watched. Not in the typical law enforcement/intelligence agency/surveillance watched, but something far more primal and unnerving. Finn also notes the watching when he arrived on the oil rig, more specifically aimed at his movements and position.
That went out the window when the lemons found out about the missing corpse of Leland Turbo upon revealing the now empty crate and a scream of terror. Finn had barely managed to restrain the hungry vampire from devouring a lemon and had sounded the alarm.

Finn and Leland has parents, because that what I’ve been liking lately. Say hi to their adopted daughter, Lucy.
Tbh, I haven’t thought deeply into Lucy’s backstory. But, I came up with something: I imagine Finn and Leland going on one of their missions, where they find a family who were killed, but they find baby Lucy. Finn thinks they should bring Lucy to an orphanage, but Leland felt pity for Lucy and decides to adopt her instead. Which Finn was just forced to oblige. But, eventually, grew attachment to Lucy.
In this au, Leland and Finn are married and (probably) retired, which CHROME might contact for serious missions where they need them.
So, here’s some extra doodles, if you’re interested:
Doodle #1 : Doodles of Lucy has she’s growing up, Finn finding out that Leland and Lucy broke something, and some edgy, sad stuff (because of course we do)
Doodle #2: Lucy saids something funny at Holley and Mayer’s wedding, which Leland is proud of but Finn is embarrassed by (what she saids is up in your imagination ;)). And Lucy having a nightmare, where Finn just lets her sleep in his bed.
Doodle #3: Finn and Leland is going on a date night, but Finn is worried that Lucy will try and sneak out. While Leland is chill about it, Finn secretly puts a tracking device on her 😅
Hey people! Been a while that I’ve posted Finland related stuff. I know everybody is in a huge hype about the new Cars series (and so am I). But, here’s this while we wait: 😅

I just been going through some things about my anxiety and insecurities about my art, that I’ve been stressing about posting my art lately. There was a time in my life where my mind was everywhere, and I was scared that nobody really cared about my art (－_－).

This is actually my first time drawing Fillmore and Sarge, and I’m pretty proud of Fillmore. Maybe Sarge needs some adjustments :/ But, something I’m still proud of :D
