Varys switching sides, bcs he serves people in the realm? not just a king/queen. and he sees potential in Sansa ruling just and for the good of the people?
I need Varys to see Sansa at work, and realize how good sheβs at this. I need him to regret not helping her in Kingβs Landing and not protecting her from Baelish. Also, JONSA VIBES.
Does anyone has a fic from his POV, re-meeting Sansa? That would be GREAT!
Also Robin Arrynβs glow up was like the best thing ever
I actually expected Littlefinger to appear. Is that bad

When Melisandre first showed up and had a significant reaction seeing Arya, I had a real panicked moment. I truly thought Arya may be Jon's Nissa Nissa and that Melisandre would try to stab Arya through the heart for Jon's sake.
My reasoning is that Jon currently loves Arya the most. Clearly he has feelings towards Daenerys, but she's still new to Jon and their love hasn't really built up to its full potential. Arya on the other hand, he loves his little sister so completely and unconditionally that she would be the closest he would have to a Nissa Nissa.
Needless to say, so glad that's not what happened in the show πππ Our baby's still alive!!
Anyways screw the pressed male fans, the general population was cheering and screaming, gtfo
Sometimes it's like... did you even watch the episode? In Sam's case he really wasn't given an option- he's a man, has had some training, killed a White Walker before, and therefore absolutely must be out in the battle. If you'd paid attention to Edd's line as Sam shows up into formation, he says, "Oh for fuck's sake, you took your time," implying that Sam was supposed to be there. He wasn't given a choice. If he had, he'd gladly would have been in the crypts- Sam's a self-actualized coward. So yeah, sucks that Edd died while protecting him, but the toxic masculinity of Westerosi society put Sam there, not himself.
I canβt believe that people are still trying to call Sansa useless or cowardly for going to the crypts. When in fact what she was being was unselfish and smart.
Noncombatants being on the battlefield is cute, and all βgo warrior! Youβre so brave!ββ¦. up until the point that you realize that the actual combatants are therefore going to have to ignore their own safety to protect these noncombatants. Especially if these noncombatants are Important People, and the combatants have a duty to see them safe.
The reason that Jorah got killed? Was because Dany, a noncombatant without her dragon, was on the battlefield. Full stop. He literally took the blow that killed him by being in front of her. Had she not been there, his chances of surviving would have exponentially increased. Now obviously she didnβt fall off her dragon on purpose. But still. The point remains.
Sansa realized that she would be putting people in danger if she stayed on the battlefield, and so she put her selfish wishes to be there for her people aside and went down to a place where she thought she would be safer and no one would have to defend her.
And when it became necessary, she was even ready to defend herself, if need be.
So just leave her alone, sheβs been through enough.

Although, I do not like the way they portrayed Daenerys in this episode, I could not help but notice the message portrayed during the celebratory dinner scene. Daenerys the breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi. The woman who freed countless men, gave them an option no other "leader" had, saved countless men, women, and children, helped Jon in the fight against a cold ass zombie apocalypse, the only known person who had access to not one but three dragons that would follow her anywhere. The woman who is quite the expert when it comes to riding a dragon discredited by men in front of other men, even the one she says she loves and not one man who knows what she is capable of, not even Jon stood up for her, her name or her reputation. In fact Jon only stands up for her when he argues against Sansa, which is never in public around other men, besides Bran.
I understand why Jon is the rightful heir and why they want him to take the Throne, but I also understand Daenerys' stance. Think about it. How hurtful would it be to watch someone else accept what you worked your ass off, watched your children die for, watched the only two men you were deeply close to die for, watched countless of brave men fall for? Not because the person has the same name and can fairly fight you for it but because they share the same name and have XY chromosomes, meaning they can automatically be given what you put in work for. I think that would do it for Dany, that would be the thing that made her lose her cool.
Plus, it was Daenerys who gave Arya her credit where it was due for doing what no man, not even Jon after many attempts could do, which was kill the Night King. Arya had never even seen the Night King and yet she destroyed him and his popsicle zombies.
Yet, another example of badass women having to have each other's backs, because in a world of men you save and hold doors open for while dragging their ass through it is still not likely that you'll get respect or credit where deserved.
Now, had Dany not been so hellbent on trying to prove herself and considered what Sansa was telling her, she could have avoided the risk of Missandei, Rhaegon and more than a handful of her men being killed. She could have went in with a clear head and could have possibly anticipated that attack, since she already knew they had the means to kill her dragons.
She went in unprepared, strung out on emotions and it was just sloppy compared to her other decisions. She appointed advisors and yet ignores the advice. Make it make sense.
Someone had to say it
