Hey, is Samantha seeing the certified freak in the painting too, or are our boys just cursed?

"... "Certified Freak"...?"

Samantha raises her gaze, only for her eyes to grow wide and her face to grow pale upon catching sight of something. The boys, confused beyond all merits, turn to look directly behind them...

... and... catch sight of the "freak" you spoke of... It lingers, just long enough for them to see it, to watch the black sludge trickle down its fingers, and then it is gone, vanished back within the painting.

The boys both stare up at where the arm had been, both much too scared and put off to say anything for a good while.

It isn't until Samantha speaks up again that they are broken free from their petrification.

... She, however, proves much less than unhelpful for the current situation, acting as though nothing was there. Nothing had ever been there. Nothing is.

"... But you... you looked terrified..." Joshua managed to say despite how his own body shook. "D... That just happened, we saw you, how can you..." He continued, baffled at the current dismissal.

Above the boys where the hand had been rests nothing more than the painting that had been there prior, as if nothing at all had occurred.

Well well well, guess who finally got these refs out! Just in time for pride and everything!

These two are ocs from my ask blog, @askjoshuafreeman and will be appearing shortly as permanent members of the main cast! They're also dating so all the more reason to celebrate, eh?

I drew Clera and Tiff! Two more of my main ocs for AskJoshuaFreeman!

Clera Belle is a fashionable sweetheart who just wants to make everybody happy and expresses herself through the extravagant clothes she makes.

Tiff Pepper is a tough-as-nails gothic punk who takes crap from no one and intimidates nearly everyone enough to leave her the hell alone.

Together, they make the best damn couple you've ever seen, and make each other more happy than you can imagine. Now if only they could do something about all the trouble their buds Allen and Josh seem to get into...

Of grandiose and valor, here are our boys!

It might've taken me a biiiit too long to make these references, but I'm incredibly proud at how they turned out. Shout out to @pokeblog123 for the idea of Allen's sweater having horns and devil's wings, it works so well!

It's fairly easy to see a real difference between them and I couldn't be happier that I managed to capture their mannerisms and little quirks in these refs. Joshua needs some goddamn sleep and Allen...

Allen just needs some hang time with his bro, that solves everything!

Gah, I love my boys so much! Here's to hoping we can get them a good ending, right?
