if you rewatch call it what you want in s4e6, you can can clearly see maddox realizing that the song is about her and ashlyn when the camera switches to her after the "are we friends or somethin' better?" in the first verse. it's like she was paying attention before, but now she's like, completely focused on this. I personally feel that you can see some sort of shock in her eyes, realizing that ashlyn just might like her back. anyway. thoughts.

Every few moments, I remember that madlyn is actually canon, and I feel like i'm floating and everything is amazing. and then I soon remember that hsmtmts is over and I spiral into completely overthinking everything that has ever happened to me
