I wasn't super satisfied with my original design of The King in Yellow, so I thought up of a new one. I'm still really attached to my head cannon of the "cape" the King wearing being a part of their body, though.

He drifts above them, his massive crown blotting out the sky, flowing robes of silk and gold rippling out from his body like water as he begins his graceful descent. His face is inscrutable, incomprehensible, his unmoving gaze locked with Johnβs."

Please check out the fic! It is a beautiful and viscerally written study of John's psyche after accidentally taken over Arthur's entire body, leaving nothing of him behind after stumbling into a ritual site.... So it is up to John alone to get Arthur back!
