Is it just me, or is anyone else slightly irked by all of those videos that excuse sexualizing the pjsk characters, specifically the 3rd years, just because they've moved up a grade and "are now 18" 😭😭 Kid you not, since the games 3rd anniversary I've seen SO many fucking videos literally just. plainly sexualizing mainly Rui and Tsukasa and it's excused because they're "eighteen"??? 😭 Literally please do enlighten me on where their ages were confirmed, 'cause all I've seen is just speculation and people just assuming that, oh, since their all moving up a grade, that must mean that their aging up too!!! And sure, it could be working like that since the only character to canonically have their age confirmed is Haruka, who was stated to be 16 in the mmj main story, and since she was a 1st year at the time we can assume all of the 1st years are 16, the 2nd years are 17, and so on and so-forth. But still, even if that is the case and they did actually age up, your first instinct was to SEXUALIZE them??? 😭😭 I know that it is not that serious, but sexualizing the pjsk cast was a problem even beforehand, even though they're all inferred to be MINORS 💥💥 can't we go back to like. focusing on them as actual characters. or somethign

I just finished a custom profile for the mmj event with the premise of their home screens but poly mmj, and i couldn't help but make a few hcs so here they are!

Minori used to have a haruka wallpaper but shiho made fun of her (lovingly) so she changed to a photo of her (but now that the four are dating her main wallpaper is all four of them on a date), also she loves kaomoji

Haruka's is super basic but i hc she loves classic text emoticons like :) or ;-; and etc

Airi's is super cute but she never let anyone see her phone because of that, also she is an absolute softie to her lovers

Lastly shizuku's still has the default wallpaper and the contact names are the ones the people themselves put cuz shizuku doesn't know how to add numbers to her phone

Which pjsk group swears the most?

hello, tumblr! so I was bored and was thinking about pjsk as I often do and this particular train of thought led to me scouring the lyrics of songs to see which group swore the most. here are my results:

Leo/need:

none. family friendly fr stan l/n <33 (unless you count like, kagerou daze bc I doubt being killed over and over is content for kids)

MORE MORE JUMP!:

also none, but some songs are not as family friendly 💀 (looking at you, vampire)

Vivid BAD SQUAD:

Odo “half-ass deserves a K.O.” (kinda iffy on this one bc it’s ado’s official translation but lots more eng translations dont swear)

Honorary mentions:

Traffic Jam (the wiki’s translation has “fuck compromises” but several more translations use other words and the eng subs on the official video don’t use it. an and akito have this part)

YY (the og says “shit” various times but it’s BARELY audible in the vbs cover. akito and an get the lines where it occurs if you wanted to know lol)

Literary nonsense (the eng subs on eve’s mv say “XXX you and your lies.” rui has this part. it’s funny that he’s been technically censored twice in these two songs even though he doesn’t really say anything akdjkajd)

Nightcord at 25:00:

Usseewa “shut the f*** up” (this lyric is censored on the wiki like this for some reason despite the fact other songs aren’t censored lolll)

Venom “like a shitty video game” (mizuki has this line)

Bitter Choco Decoration (the og spells out “fuck” but it’s not at all audible in the game)

The way I narrowed these down was by first going through this page that had a list of songs with “inappropriate lyrics” and looking at the translations of those specific songs.

Then I went through the main song list on the wiki, only looking at cover songs since I assumed the commissioned songs wouldn’t have any words I was looking for. I went through all of the songs and their lyrics featured on the wiki, though I did speed through them a bit so i might’ve missed a few words

I just read a mmj event story (Hear me! Hopeful Show ♪) and while I don't have anything to say about the event itself (Minori my beloved, keep growing motto motto) I have some ponderations:

1 - Minoharu section. We always talk about Minori being gay af for Haruka and ok that's basically canon but OMG HARUKA

I SWEAR I couldn't print every moment she simped for Minori because there were TOO MANY but GIRL--

I swear she fell even harder for Minori it's just that Minori's more vocal about it, I love my minoharu <3

2 - Seriously. HOW do they decide who's gonna be the 4 stars and everything??? Because I swear every single event I read has a card distribution I don't agree with

Who decided to give my girl Airi the 2★ treatment????? Also Shizuku as a 4★ while Luka gets 3★ is just unfair smh

ANYWAYS mmj I'm coming for you I'm gonna read all of your stories and become obsessed with you too just you wait (they already got points w me for this story. love you Minori and Haruka's a sweetheart (I already loved Airi and Shizuku though I think I love them more now)
