Another Noot

It's been a while since I posted so instead of doing my work, I'm making the boot again

(I might repost it if I add more details some days later tho)

I was trying to make him look a little like a military general but Idk if it's obvious enough.

Oh and the base too, I sketched it in my lil sketchbook for when I'm out and added some effects until I had a clear idea of what I wanted with the colours!

Noooooo I made the final canvas too big and now it's pixelated :'c

I made a lil throne for my noot today :]

I just had this idea of like, the throne having more tree-based stuff and also gave the top of it a cool tapestry

I added veery tiny phoenix symbolism. Since I just came up with the fact that corrupted Nightmare is kinda like passive Nightmare dying and being reborn as something darker

I was gonna put more orange in it, but the buttons kinda looked like Fresh's parasite when they were orange

You know. I never really liked nightkiller but I like the dark cream version of it. Because of my headcannon. What if what happened is that nightmare's gang rejected him when he came back (cuz I mean they are bad sans' for a reason). So maybe they attack nightmare now that he's weak but killer defends and protects him. Cuz I like that idea! That gives me shipping vibes.

Not really a drawing request- but how did you do the linless art? Its cool but I have no idea as to how people do it

Good question! We’ll use Dream for this one-

I like to start with a color that contrasts with from the muse

Then I start on a basic drawing of the character’s head (I like to draw this on another layer so that I can easily edit it if needed)

Then I finish the rest of the character

I use a shade of gray to accentuate the skull’s curves and blur it. I like to do this part on another layer as well! (I repeat this step a few times till I like how it turns out)

On that same layer, I like to add the character’s facial features

Then I add any last details on another layer! I drew the darker tentacles on the same layer as the facial expressions. To help show that some of the other tentacles were further back, I made them darker than the ones on the facial layer. (I also went back and added a weird looking tree cause mmmm angst) And then I was done!

To add texture to Cross and Killer’s fur hoods, I took the color of the fur and made it a few shades darker before drawing a few strokes onto the first layer and repeating a few times.

EDIT!: oh yeah! I also never use pure black because I like being able to shade onto the dark dark gray
