What’s writing, you know? What does writing actually mean?
if anakin didnt fall to the darkside, he would be that dad embrassing his kids and teliing embrassing stories about their childhood to Din and Han if he ever ends up accepting him
which is even more fun when u remember the skywalkers are the three most powerful force users in the galaxy
(donation doodles! // tip jar)
you ever think about how the twins destroying the Hutt presence on Tatooine avenged a grandmother they'd never even met
(support me on kofi!)
The reverence Luke has for his first lightsaber is so funny in retrospect, as if that wasn't his father's twenty-seventh lightsaber after breaking or losing all the ones before (we won't even get into the fact it's also the Youngling Slayer 9000), and kept it safe for over three years as his most sacred object.
Meanwhile, Anakin is just:
Oh well...

“Well, I think there are no villains in this world. There are just misunderstood heroes.”
— Tom Hiddleston
Ok! So now that I've made the cover page i can feel right in scanning in the intro and first chapter to give the finishing touches
EDIT: i didnt like the way the guy in the back was facing so i adjusted it
His head is a lil off to the left but that will be much easier to fix in Krita
So I just took like an hour to think up and draw the chapter page for chapter two of my comic
Meaning that along with the one page intro, chapter one is complete
So i ask you all:
Should i start the finishing touches to the completed chapters for release and post them?
If i keep to my own schedule (which is like around nine to 3:30 every weekday) i should get it done fairly quickly as the completed content is pages 1-6
I haven't made the cover page yet because i really need to brainstorm on that shit
I also need to think of a general series title....
Hey guys! I know I haven't been around much lately what with school and being away from my tablet... but that doesn't mean I haven't been drawing!
I don't know if I've said this before, but one of my ultimate goals in life is to become a writer and artist for my own series of comics. While I have all the pieces to make the comic, I just haven't found a way to make it into a coherent story line. The whole thing is a bunch of story arcs that connect and intertwine with one another. There really isn't a true main character. Everyone has their own story to tell.
In a way I guess that's how I've always wanted it to be. Because even though most of the things are fantastical, I still wanted it to be grounded to a personal reality that's very important to me.
The fact that everyone is imperfect.
Everyone has problems. I know I do, and if you really think about yourself, I'm sure you'll find that you too have at least one. It's a scary thing to think about, and yet I dwell on it all the time.
Perfection is an illusion, and I wanted to make sure that no one in my stories are perfect.
I suppose a good example of this is my version of Life and Death.
Life is, as in many depictions, light and bubbly with a very carefree feel to her. She loves the humans and the souls she bestows upon us at birth. However, she finds herself becoming depressed by how many perceive her to be fragile and defenseless. Eventually, she manages to prove herself to others by protecting those she holds dear with her own abilities, showing that like her siblings, she too is a force to be reckoned with.
Death, unlike his depictions of being the ultimate emo girls dream, is a kind-hearted, equally bubbly and carefree person, who arguably loves the humans more than his sister. However, this love proves to be his setback, as the years of collecting the souls of the dead take its toll on his mental stability. He has to have these memories suppressed in order to even resemble the person he used to be. But, with help from the people who love him, he may one day be able to cope with those memories without the need for them to be suppressed.
No one is perfect. Everyone has problems. But we can learn to cope and live along side these problems. We can learn to forgive the mistakes of our past and move forward towards a happier future.
That's what my series is all about.
And I'm happy to announce that I have found a starting point and have begun working on my comic series!
I'm not very good with titles, but this arc is going to be called "The Eldrich Journal".
I hope you're as excited as I am.
Here are some character notes for this Arc.
Meet Psychoe! That one character with a not-so-creative name (before I ever really started trying...) This sweet boy has gone through a lot of development
At first he was part of an old story I've long since scrapped, in which he could endure any form of injury and not be aware of any pain (or most anything in general). Later on he would have another character (kinda like another version of himself) that was overly aware and could feel pain (named Insani). Eventually I changed a few things and separated them, making them twins, which is how they've stayed since then. Their backstory has also gone through changes but that's for another time.
Found a sketchbook i was looking for (i was looking for a page that had something to do with these golems called wolos based off a stupidly funny thing i once hear)
This was in there too!
Partway through making this, recall realizing i should've moved Samule to the left corner because i ran out of room
Meet Nova, the unkillable being that wants to die, and one of my many characters.
I sketched this like a few days ago and just today decided to color it like half an hour ago, something like that
I think this is going to be the first of many introductions to my original works
So, here’s the deal. If you find this character interesting, then I want you to send me an ask about him, anything you want to know more about, and I’ll answer
“Hello, my name’s Garry, I’ll be your music instructor.”
“Okay, cool, name’s Cassy.”
Ever seen the show “Impractical Jokers”?
Well this was inspired by said show
That’s… all there really is to say on the matter.
The characters themselves in this comic are my originals, names and all
Look at this beautiful thing
Just... look at it
I now have to paint over the blue in orange....
Time to ruin everything I've worked for....
*siiiiiiiiigh*
So ever since I did those images for my little Pandora’s Box series, I’ve been wanting to scan in more art that I’ve done on paper, color them, and post them
However.... A few images in, my printer, thus my scanner, lost connection, so I decided to work with what I managed to get in
Needless to say, I’ve barely made an progress, and now my neck hurts from having to hold my head at an angle
So I feel I might as well show what I’m working on....
Look forward to a BUNCH of original content from me in the near future
Satan: LUCI!!!
Lucifer: hm?
Satan: YOU GUYS NEVER LISTEN TO ME; JESUS, YOU, AND INSANI, YOU NEVER LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, AND IT’S BEGINNING TO FUCKING PISS ME OFF AKJFSBAKDJFVAKNVJLKDSNVAJNDJFASEJIOCNSDVNKDNAVKN
Lucifer: What the hell Satan, what did I do to trigger this nonsense???
Satan’s been having a rough day....
I swear, these two share a room, sleep in the same bed, cuddle in said bed, have meaningful discussions, and even emotional declarations But are they dating??? Who knows? I don't know? Maybe they are? Are they? I think so? Do you think so?
So I’ve found a way to make Gifs
This is my test
Grim: “Kiraaaaaaaaaa!”
Grim loves his son
In my eyes, Jesus is a caffeine internet addict. If there’s WIFI and coffee, he will ditch you and your problems in a heartbeat.
This was my alternate ending to that Footsteps in the Sand poem.
So when I posted this just a little while ago, I did so on my phone. Nearly the moment I hit post, my phone decided to lose its fucking mind, in which I had to remove the battery to fix it.
Coincidence?
Calem had felt empty for most of his life, he couldn’t remember when he stopped believing the future held anything better. His father hit him, his mother yelled at him, his peers bullied him.
Just because of his eye.
It felt like a curse, a burden he could never escape. No matter who saw it, no matter how much he tried to explain he was simply born with it, they all ended up hurting him. Whether it was verbally or physically.
He doesn’t recall the event that led to his breaking point, he just remembers being tired. Tired of all the grief the eye he now hid caused him. That night he looked at his scarred skin, from his tormentors or himself he no longer knew, nor did he care, and ran a blade across his skin one final time.
Or so he thought.
He awoke to a blonde about his age kneeling over him with worry. Had he failed, who was this boy, how’d he get into his home? He never got to ask these questions, as he’d swiftly lost consciousness once more.
Calem later learned that he hadn’t failed, rather he had what was called a reaper’s soul, which revived his body upon his initial death, now unable to age. The blonde was Kira Shinigami, Death’s adopted son, and also the reaper who’d found him.
He found himself attached to Kira, who in turn was protective of the new addition. When he one day asked why he’d done it, Calem confessed his past, and the other revealed a similar childhood. This only made them closer, confiding and comforting one another. Calem nearly cried when Kira saw his eye and said it was beautiful. Eventually the two decided to share a room, leading Mitch to casually tease them, much to their dismay.
For the first time in ages, Calem felt he had something to live for, his future no longer bleak in his mismatched eyes.
He was finally happy.
Lucious couldn’t change what he’d done in the past, no matter how much he wished to. All the innocents he’d killed for his parents, all the times he’d ignored their terrified pleas, their warnings about his mother’s true nature.
It was early on in his second year after he’d escaped his mother’s clutches and her toxic influence, that the nightmares began. Images of their dead eyes before their souls broke to pieces, their final gasps for life ringing in his ears. The worst ones were when he was face to face with himself from that dark time. His body covered in blood splatters, sword and hair dripping with the crimson substance.
When he’d started dating Emelie, he was worried his nightmares would be too much for her. This fear was swiftly quelled after his first nightmare sharing a bed together. Instead of panicking and causing him further anxiety, she calmly soothed the hyperventilating male, gently rubbing circles between his shoulders, humming a melody he could not name. They stayed like this, just the two of them, with unspoken apologies and comforts, until one of them fell asleep.
Em never asked for the details of his nightmares, though he could tell she wanted to. But he wasn’t ready to tell her his past, how he was a demon whose parents were devils that manipulated him into not only killing the very people they were supposed to oversee and protect, but also nearly killing his own sister. How would she respond to the knowledge that the man she loves was once an assassin?
But he knew he would have to tell his girlfriend of two years soon. Because eventually, his mother would find him, and he’s have to face the monster he was one final time.
Hopefully by then, he’ll be able to let go of the guilt that haunts him.
As a shapeshifting devil that didn’t stay in one place for very long, Miyoto never had a reason to regret things. They didn’t cause much trouble, and on the occasion they did, they could easily slip away without causing too much alarm. They never cared enough to stick around when conflict arose.
Until they met Lucas.
Lucas fascinated the devil. He was lonely and depressed, kind and gentle. So Miyoto stayed. They lived with the young male, and while they’ve felt bad for all the things they put him through, they never regretted those decisions.
Except one.
Leaving Lucas alone when he told him to. Forgetting for that one moment that Lucas was an unstable and lonely individual. Miyoto, despite the stress they caused him, was the only person in his life since his family passed on.
Miyoto felt a sickening hollowness inside them, and the feeling that if they didn’t turn back right then and there, they’d lose him forever.
If they hadn’t trusted that instinct and returned to his side, his attempted suicide would have been successful.
Their regret was ever letting their beloved Lucas get to that breaking point.
It took a lot to make Lucifer angry. With Satan always making rash and emotion-fueled decisions, it was up to him to keep a clear head in order to get his friend out of whatever trouble his rather unwise choices got him into. While the other devil often irritated him to no end, not once has has he ever been angered by him.
The first time he could recall being enraged was when he’d discovered the truth of God’s plans. At first, he’d wanted to confront his god, demand to know why he hated the demons, why he thought they should be eliminated.
But he stopped himself, took a step back. If he were to do such things, then not only would he likely not get his answers, but he would just as likely be deemed defective and traitorous. He personally knew what happened to those who openly questioned their god’s views of the demons. So he went to see for himself.
He realized soon after arriving that something was clearly wrong. While he’d seen their poor conditions briefly many times, it was completely different up close. It became even more alarming when he’d been approached by the strange demon known as Syphil.
The more he learned, the more his god’s actions angered him. So, alongside Satan, and with the help of Syphil, they gathered a group of both angels and demons alike to defend against God’s plans.
In the end the final blow was dealt, peace was established, and Lucifer’s anger subsided.
Now, his daughter has been taken, and this time, he may not be able to keep himself in line when he faced his old god.
