(Character A) is a typical teenage protagonist of a high school movie. (Character B) is the typical teenage love interest of the high school movie. Only, there’s a few things in the way of their relationship - their depression, anxiety, problems with authority, and their parents...

Soulmate AU where the last words your soulmate says is written on your skin.
(Character A) doesn’t have any words. (Character B), their soulmate, is immortal.
(Character A)’s friend, (Character C), has a HUGE crush on (Character B). In fact, so does (Character A), but they don’t want to start a rivalry with their already possessive friend, so they don’t mention it.
(Character C) comes up with the idea of fake-dating each other in an attempt to make (Character B) jealous, buuuuut....
(Character B) only seems jealous of (Character C).
(Character A) meets (Character B) at the Area 51 raid. (Character B) freaks out because they work there (albeit not voluntarily, it was a family thing to work for the government), and pretends they’re an alien because they’re a pathological liar.
Fortunately(?), (Character A) is stupid and believes them, so now (Character B) has to keep up with the charade after (Character A) takes them home to rescue them from the facility.
(Character A) is a colourblind painter who loves flowers (they became a painter of modern art on accident, after they were scouted in art class for their ‘interesting colours’, despite their attempts to avoid their family’s business/tradition).
(Character B) is a florist with allergies who loves art (they became a florist because it was the family’s business and tradition) and is a new friend to (Character A).
One day, they decide to switch jobs by taking each other’s places and they find themselves loving it. As they grow closer by asking questions about their professions, they realize both that their families hate each other from a feud in the 1800’s and that they can’t keep the ploy up forever.
And, as it gets more complicated, they start to fall in love.
(Character A) is a rebellious teen, and when they get together with the goody-two-shoes (Character C), everyone warns (Character C) to be wary.
In the end, it’s (Character A) who gets their heart broken, and nobody knows how...
Except maybe (Character B), who’s been with (Character C) before and knows exactly what they’re like. As an empathetic person, they become friends with (Character A) to try and mend their heart, and fall in love a bit in the process.
As (Character A) has just gotten out of a bad relationship, (Character B) doesn’t want to rush anything, but little do they know that (Character A) is just as enamoured.
Cue the ‘I don’t want them to be a rebound’ and ‘I’m not gonna rush anything’ and let the story begin.
(Character A), who is a peasant, accidentally saves (Character B), who is royalty, from an assasination attempt. However, (Character B) thinks it was purposeful, and thinks they are indebted to (Character A).
(Character A) is unaware of this, and wonders why the heir to the throne is so interested in them all of a sudden.
(Character A) has the ability to imagine a scenario and make it come true. The problem is, they figure this out after they have already written fan fiction. Specifically, self-insert fan fiction between them and (Character B), a fictional character.
Now, they’re real, and having an existential crisis as the two of them travel through each fanfic. (Character A) wants to make things go back to normal, so that (Character B) can live their ‘normal’ life again, but is starting to genuinely fall in love with (Character B). They feel selfish, but can’t help their feelings.
(Character A) tries to deal with their guilt, and all the while, they’re oblivious to (Character B) beginning to fall in love with them.
Obviously, mutual pining ensues.
(Character A)’s life is set up completely by their parents for a social experiment; complete with castings for background characters and side characters.
(Character B) is a side character in (Character A)’s life. They’re supposed to be the bully, but as they find themselves falling for (Character A), they start to break their script.
(Character A) is a hero who unintentionally causes most of the crimes in their city. (Character B) is a villain who unintentionally fights those crimes.
Example:
(Character A) accidentally shoplifts. (Character B) steals the stolen item and drops it by the shop on accident, and so on.
(Character A) still thinks they are the hero, and (Character B) still thinks they are the villain.
Soulmate AU where when you touch your soulmate for the first time, you see colours.
(Character A) doesn’t touch anybody, because of their fear of being stuck with someone forever.
One day, (Character A) accidentally touches their long-time best friend, (Character B) and sees colours. Since (Character B) doesn’t react, they assume (Character B) doesn’t see colours too, and is their soulmate, but (Character A) isn’t theirs.
(Character B) does see colours, but thinks that (Character A) doesn’t, and pretends they don’t see them.
Mutual pining and angst ensues.
(Character A) makes a promise with (Character C) as a teenager that if they still aren’t married by 30, they will marry each other.
The thing is, (Character A) hates (Character C), and tries their hardest to get married to their significant other, (Character B), before their 29th birthday, which is fast approaching.
(Character C) is trying to make them break up, but (Character A) loves (Character B). How will it work out?
1. Character A explains one of their winter holiday traditions to Character B
2. A sees snow for the first time
3. A and B have a snowball fight (bonus if A flirts with B to distract B)
4. A teaches B how to ice skate
5. A and B go sledding
6. The power unexpectedly goes out during a blizzard and A and B make a blanket fort
7. A and B give each other gifts in a gift exchange
8. A didn’t put on enough layers when they went outside, so B lends them their coat
9. A and B go caroling, but only one of them is actually good at singing
10. A wants to hibernate. B won’t let them
11. A and B bake/cook together
12. A and B make snow angels
13. A forgot their mittens/gloves outside, so B warms up their hands
14. A is looking for a last minute gift and enlists the shop owner, B, for help, but quickly ends up getting distracted by them
15. A is torn between making fun of B’s ugly Christmas sweater and admiring how good they look in it
16. A buys/makes B’s favorite warm drink
17. A introduces B to their family
18. A’s car breaks down and B pulls over to help them
19. A knits a sweater for B
20. A and B have a holiday movie marathon
21. A writes a message in the snow that B can see from their bedroom window
