POMFREY I CANT

One random day in the Great Hall

Bellatrix : The Noble House of Black will always be on top !

Remus : *spits out his pumpkin juice and starts laughing uncontrollably*

Sirius : *blush furiously while trying to get Remus to shut up bc everyone is looking at them*

James : *trying for his deer life (and failing) to understand what's so funny*

Lily : *smirks* *just smirks*

Pomfrey : I KNEW IT ! MY BOY'S THE TOP ! HA ! I TOLD YOU MINERVA ! MY BOY'S THE DOM !

Minnie : *gives her 5 galleons while looking visibly frustrated and glaring at Sirius*

Remus : *laughs even harder if it's possible*

Regulus : *trying to forget the horrible traumatic images that are forming in his head and silently crying*

when i say i NEED someone to write a McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey pov of atyd where they are bestfriends/lovers and McGonagall tells sirius’ side of his hogwarts years and Pomfrey tells remus’ and it’s just the maternal love that both of them need please please someone write thissss

thinking about needing an atyd (pomfrey + mcgonagall pov) where they are in love and also raise remus and sirius respectively

The only acceptable mamas boy

Sirius and Remus had two cats, a small mostly white kitten named Poppy and a grey tabby named Minnie. Sirius was the one to bring them home one day and to Remus’ surprise they were the first cats that ever let him pet them, they actually seemed happy to be around him, and Remus soon realized that while he thought he was a dog person, seeing that he was in love with a man who could turn into one, but soon realized that he was a cat person when he sat down to read with a cup of tea and Minnie laid right next to him and purred as he pet her.

Sirius loves calling them different nicknames, like instead of Poppy he calls her ‘Madam’ and buys her little bows and even went as far to dress her up as a nurse for halloween one year (Minnie was obviously forced into a witches hat). He calls Minnie ‘Professor’ whenever he sees her with Remus as he is reading and Remus secretly thinks it’s adorable.

Sirius insists on constantly taking pictures of the cats and Remus, as he thinks Remus with a cat on his lap is one of the cutest sights in the world, and one year made them have a photo shoot to make kitten Christmas cards. He sent one to McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey and both of them have it hanging in their offices at Hogwarts.

Neither of the cats like Peter, but Harry and Lily love them, so much so that one of Harry’s first words was ‘kitty’.

James thinks it hilarious that Sirius named them after McGonagall and Pomfrey. When he found out he laughed for at least an hour about it.

They can’t have kids, and while helping raise Harry is amazing, getting to come home to two cute cats that they get to call their own makes them feel like a big happy family.

Headcanon: Quidditch players run work-outs for everyone interested

They have a schedule that indicates who leads the lessons every day.

No age limits. First years bond with older students. There's no strict colored uniform, so lots of students make friends without knowing what house the other one is in.

Imagine McGonagal joining a few times, and feeling shy around all the youngsters, but everyone has so much fun and beg her to come again every day. It's special days every time she's there.

Poppy and Pomona join any time they can. They always come together and giggle just like teenagers around them.

Flitwick LOVES it and earns lots of compliments from whoever leads the practice which makes his day. Everyone knows if he was praised this morning for his moves, he'd happily complement everyone's moves in his own class.

Hagrid makes horrible dad jokes, but everyone hysterically rolls on the grass, sometimes work-outs end early.

Snape would never, but he secretly asked for advice on back pains and exercises in his room.

about that marauders football au:

it would be obvious to put snape in the death eaters’ team (in this case real madrid cause fuck them) but i think bc in cannon he’s not that appreciated he’d be a referee

(those who know about real vardrid get me)

like he’d whistle in slytherin’s favour and accept bribes for them hoping to be accepted into their little cult like team

also who did you think gryffindor’s and slytherin’s coaches would be???

mcgonagall and slughorn feels wrong

miranda would be on the board of directors probably like a scout director looking for young talents (yes she was the one who found sirius and asked him to sign for gryffindor)

and we ALL know poppy would be on the medical staff

she was the one who treated remus on his injury and later mentored him to work alongside her (for reference check out the tags for my other marauders football au drabbles)
