guys the other day i was playing roblox and i was in a Universal Studios remake thingy and one of the rides showed several different bits from different movies and actually shrieked when Jaws when mentioned.

ILL HAVE TO SOME TIME THIS IS SUCH A GOOD POST IDEA… tbh a lotttt of the autistic traits i’ll give him are really just projection and HEAVY interpretation but the two i can think of off the top of my head right now are his tone of voice (even when he’s trying to be nice/sociable he sounds like he’s being a dick, like when he’s trying to show brody how to tie the knots) and i feel like he’s always kinda fidgeting with something? (i can’t remember exactly where the scene is but there’s one scene where he’s talking to brody and is just absentmindedly tying what i’m pretty sure is a loose piece of rope? and then in the cabin scene he’s always either messing with the food scraps, his mug, or his cap)

So, I don’t know why but Quint strikes me as some form of aromantic (and maybe ace? But I don’t really see much of that.. he’s like, maybe demiromantic or smth idk :33)
And Hooper is just a fruit ☠️ (bisexual, ace-spec, and deffo transgender)

I recently finished the Defy the Night Trilogy and I am so in awe and so overwhelmed with feels (that happens so rarely if at all when reading). It's just so good and I could rant about how everything clicks in place so perfectly and how every little relation is so well thought but that would take ages. It's politics centric but the plot just hooks you in so well and the characters are just such aptly fleshed out. And it just keeps getting better with each book. Like this is right up there with Shatter me series, Six of Crows Duology or the Folk of the Air trilogy and definitely worth multiple re-reads. Expect more rants about this series in the future until it gets the love it deserves. (I have finally found the perfect place to vent out the post-book high)
