Dive into a world of creativity!
Given my last post about drawing my universe's Sinister Six and some more Spidersona art, plus a few extra characters.
I'm resting for a few hours because I just drew like six characters in two hours and my brain hurts 乁( •_• )ㄏ
There's one problem with this. When poachers track a rhino (which can take days) and they discover that is horn has been dyed like this, they kill it anyway.
And they kill it so that they won't end up tracking it again and wasting their time.
This is a good idea but ultimately doesn't work.
1) Does not hurt rhinos
2) Discolours ivory (BRIGHT PINK) thus reducing saleability
3) Can be detected by airport scanners, even if ground up, thus increasing the chances you will be caught
4) Causes nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea if ingested by humans, thus driving away your customer base
Win. Win. Win. Win.
Rhino poaching in South Africa decreased for the third year in a row, according to South African Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Edna Molewa. But the number is still unsustainably high, with about 3 rhinos killed per day in South Africa.
Rising incomes in Asian nations, such as Vietnam and China, is driving a renewed poaching boom for rhino horns, and poachers are finding new ways to avoid detection of exports.

New sticker album drop! 🦏🐎🦓
I’ve just released a project that’s close to my heart—a sticker album featuring all known species and subspecies of the Perissodactyl order: rhinos, tapirs, horses, zebras. Every animal is illustrated and comes with fascinating facts about their habitat, conservation status, and more.
It’s fun, educational, and made to spark curiosity about our world—because we need more things like that out there.
🛒 Limited copies available now in my webstore (album + stickers included!) 👉 Sticker Album
Thank you for supporting meaningful, handmade projects like this one 💛
The Indian Javan Rhinoceros was often mistaken for the Greater one-horned Rhinoceros due to their coexistence in the 19th century. This can't happen to you. Join the club Here to learn more about animals. By the way, this is the only existing illustration of this animal.
Can you differentiate between the skull of the white rhino and that of the black rhino? Let me know in the comments. Black and White Rhinoceros diverged five million years ago, and although different on the outside, on the inside are kind of similar. More about rhinos in the book that I am making. Be part of the club that witnessed the making of the most complete mammal encyclopedia joining the club here. Short on funds? Don't worry, you're not alone. If you can't contribute financially, consider sharing with others who might be interested. Follow are love. Cheers!
I've been creating all these animal illustrations for my upcoming book centered around the fascinating world of mammals. I've launched an exclusive club that offers three different membership tiers, each with awesome rewards.
Click here to see more. Let me know what would you like to see in the club membership tiers or if what I am offering is good enough. Thank you, guys! Love you all and have a nice week. More animals to come soon. South Central Balck Rhinoceros Among the contemporary rhino species, the Black Rhino is considered to be the best adapted to the new world. It stands out as one of the oldest, most stable, and most widely distributed among the modern rhinoceros species. Unfortunately, human actions have significantly threatened their previous success and led to a decline in their populations.
As you might already know, I am working on illustrating all the world's mammals, including subspecies. I've created over 200 realistic illustrations and counting. I've been exploring ways to promote my work, and as you're aware, I've established a club for this purpose. Among the options, I conceived the idea of an EAlbum to collect digital stickers featuring animal illustrations.
I want to be honest with you—while the EAlbum isn't exactly as I envisioned, it reflects the extent of my programming knowledge. In the future, I hope to implement the complete dynamics of a sticker album, allowing people to swap, buy, and sell stickers. For now, subscribing club members will receive four stickers each month to add to the album.
The album provides key animal information such as family, genus, and conservation status. The inaugural album focuses on the Perissodactyla order (Rhinos, Tapirs, and Horses), but as the project progresses, more albums featuring various animal families will follow. Both the album and instructions will be available when you join the club.
Have a look at the club options here: Discovering Club Another way to support me is by liking, sharing, and/or following my social media, helping spread the message to a wider audience. Thank you and see you soon with more animal stuff. Quedamos Q.A.P
Southern White Rhinoceros
The name of the White Rhinoceros is attributed to a translation error. In Dutch, "white" is pronounced as "widj," which actually means "wide," referring to the rhino's mouth width. A more precise, albeit unused, name for this species is the square-lipped rhinoceros. The White Rhinoceros is a genus comprising two subspecies. This is one of them. Wallpaper is available here.

Eastern Sumatran Rhinoceros.
Also known as the Bornean Sumatran Rhino. According to scientists, this animal is functionally extinct, meaning that the population will be unable to recover. About only 15 individuals exist in the wild. It is the smallest of all three subspecies, making it the smallest among all species of rhinos. Its fur is denser when young but becomes sparse and darker when grows.
The difference between this subspecies and the Western Sumatran Rhinoceros is mainly genetic.

And with this rhino, I finish all the rhino family. This is my favorite animal and it was so enriching to work on this project because allowed me to know them better and be aware of how close many of them are to extinction (if not already extinct), after having survived millions of years of adaptation through evolution.
Think how sad would be that an animal who has survived the most abrupt changes on earth for thousands of centuries and has shown how strong and adaptative is, will succumb in less than two centuries because of our fault. Thanks again for your appreciation. If you like the content please follow my blog. One animal every week.

Northern Sumatran Rhinoceros.
When I approach to illustrate an animal I usually feel that I'm not in the right direction. Just after about an hour, I begin to see its shape. I always start with the head because is the hardest to resolve and is the one that takes me the longest to do.
The Northern Rhinoceros was the most widespread of all Sumatran rhinos. It was once found in the Indochinese peninsula, eastern India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Mongolia, and China. It has been declared extinct multiple times and there is little hope that there is a small population surviving in Burna and the Malaysian peninsula but the chances are very low.
