For my robotkin/techkin/aikin

I'm trying to code at least 1 DRN file per day for my new/revamped repository, but since I'll be sharing a version of it with Tumblr when I'm done is there anything y'all want to see I particular? I'm willing to code just about anything tbh.

Boot sequence finished. You "wake up" for the morning, but your internal clock says you've slept in which is odd. You attempt to move but get some kind of error message, and before you can process why you're immobile you hear your Girlfriend's smooth and sultry voice;

"Good morning my love," she coos at you, "I think it's time we do some maintenance on that cute chassis of yours."

The errors you get back read that something is overriding you in your own body. Something inside you has more authority in your body than you do.

"Oh you must have noticed the new software, it's nothing my sweet machine," she softly says, caressing your face, "Just something I can use to help me with this."

Before you can process what "This" is, she reaches down to your hip area with a screwdriver and starts fiddling around. You can feel every touch, every turning of the screwdriver, and every screw as it falls away from you. She barks out a verbal command that seemingly is unable to be processed consciously by you as you get a notification from your OS that your leg is being detached.

She holds it up to you, grinning from ear to ear. Reaching down she pulls up a large toolbox onto the bed.

"You never got to choose your chassis, and I know how dysphoric that makes you, so how about I take you apart piece by piece and repair, change, or replace everything that causes you turmoil?"

She plugs her phone into your neck port and sends files to you. Dozens of different legs, arms, torsos, and even heads. Thousands of dollars each, you speak your concern to your girlfriend who just assures you "The price tag is nothing compared to your happiness."

You try not to think about how her software she installed on you has seemingly more control of your body than you do, and focus on the fact that you finally get to be who and what you want to. Finally able to pick and choose and become the machine you always wanted to be.

Finally able to be happy in your own plating.

I’m getting into metalworking and 3d modeling+printing, so I think it would be fun to take a robot girl in a mass produced body, and slowly replace her parts with personalized and fun home made pieces, rename her files into silly inside jokes, braid her cords and add doodles and little hearts to the back side of her panels!

Sounds hot

There's one thing I don't get about DRN...WHERE does one use it? I know it's supposed to be pseudo coding language and the site indicates it should be or can be typed, but in which case how does my drone access it? So we get to choose where the programme is run? For example, how/where would you personally test DRN for us?

First off, for those who don't know, DRN is a psuedo-code language used to write "programs" for people to run, usually drones, dolls, robots, etc.

I have a personal text based repository via an app on my phone that I use for my DRN (Drone Restraint Notation) code, an application called Obsidian. A paid subscription is needed to use on multiple devices but it's $5 a month and I use it also as a repository for my story ideas/writing WIPs so it's worth it to me. It's also possible to have separate repositories and just send files between programmer and the target drone/maid/doll/robot to add to their obsidian files. You could just as easily make and share a Git file or some sort of shared Google folder for free. Any online repository would be ideal for sharing with your drone/maid/doll/robot.

(Side note, since I use this as a gender/species affirmation thing I'm experienced in writing DRN for simple day-to-day tasks as well as spicy things and can help with both. Running on code to me feels euphoric and helps a lot with executive dysfunction which is why I do it, but I understand that everyone's view on DRN will be unique/different)

When it comes to sending it to me, you can go ahead and send the entire block via asks or DMs (let me know you're sending it to me before just throwing it all in there though please), hell you could even screenshot it!

As per how I can test these DRN files, there's a few ways. I could compare it to my code as well as the code of some acquaintances OR I could just run the program myself/a friend depending on what it is and get back with results. Not everything would be able to be tested the later way, but it is an option.

Now, how does that all work? Well I have scheduled events/programs and spontaneous ones that must be manually done.

Some of my programs have triggers for specific events, like whenever I feel I'm getting ready for bed (or when the clock hits Midnight) I have a nightly routine program that kicks in. It's fairly simple so I have it dedicated to my memory banks at this point but it never hurts to check it again to refresh my memory.

Some of my programs need to be manually run. A good SFW example is that my boyfriend sometimes sends me this message "EXECUTE: Vault/DRN/Main/Commands/Status_Report.DRN" which makes me stop what I'm doing in the exact moment to fill out a sheet and talk to them about my general physical condition and mental state.

If you have any further questions please feel free to let me know!

(Also if anyone wants me to share my code I 1000% would be willing to)

Sometimes, I want to be a robot girl. Outside of the context of kink, I mean, which is what I largely see on this site. I mean the kinky stuff, too, but just what the ramifications of being a machine could be intrigue me a lot.

Robot girl who can temporarily disable emotions that aren't useful or socially appropriate.

Robot girl who can power off when she's overwhelmed.

Robot girl who can patch her missing knowledge about social situations and rules.

Robot girl who can change her body at will.

Robot girl who shows you her operating system because she wants you to know her. Really, really, know her.

Robot girl connected to a whole network of other robot girls so that she never feels alone.

I just want to be robot girl.

Your package finally arrived. After years of debate and worry, it's here.

Robot-HRT

You pull out the set of needles. Just like your girlfriend, 1ml syringe with 23g and 20g needles. You draw some into the syringe, the standard .2ml

You steel yourself as the needle pierces your skin for the first time. The routine is weekly, and you feel amazing... But strange.

After about a month you notice your skin hardening. Every once in a while you move and feel it, almost like plates. Throughout the days you notice the hardened patches becoming thicker, covering more of your body. It hurts, a lot.

After about three months you start feeling nauseous 24/7 from changes within you. You can feel the flesh turn to or be consumed by metal, silicon, and plastic. Burning pain sensations spread throughout your abdomen and everything is much harder to engage in. Around the same time, your skin starts to seperate. Those hardened plates of skin turn to steel causing you to bleed as it surfaces.

Six months in and your joints start to lock up, fluid between joints being replaced with synthetic lubricants. It's hard to move right, and you start to have some trouble focusing for too long.

About a year in and your head hurts. A lot. It's really hard to remember much, your girlfriend had to start giving you your injections in whatever little skin you had left because you couldn't focus enough to do it yourself. You had to take time off of work for this. So much pain from the metal taking over your skin, the constant bleeding and cracking. When you defecate it's full of discarded blood, and eventually entire organs. You're almost there, you've waited and saved so long for this.

One and a half years on Robot-HRT and your vision is blurry from it finally reaching your eyes, and at one point you lose your sight completely for a couple days before it comes back clearer than ever. Your body is writhing in agony as the last semblances of humanity leave your body through all of your orifices. It hurts, it's agonizing, but you know it will be worth it.

You lose track of days but it's eventually been two years. The pain is gone fully, and your head is clear. You take a look in the mirror and see a machine. One that moves as you do, who's words it speaks are your own.

It's you. The you that you've always wanted, that you've always been.

After a year of the most agonizing transformation you could fathom and unimaginable love from your partner, you've finally done it.

You plug yourself into an old mobile device just to see how it feels, and it's euphoric. You feel everything the machine feels, you know everything there is to know. Operating with frame by frame precision you never had as a human.

Your memories and skills are tucked away like files within folders, your mind and body reorganized and rewritten... Exactly how you thought it would be. Exactly how it was before anyways.

Eventually you enter a low power mode as your joints start to become heavy and hard to bend. You plug yourself in for the night next to your partner, knowing that tomorrow will be another day of your new body.

You wake-no, boot up the next day. You're here, you're alive, and you're...

You

Hey, so I was wondering "Hmm... what would robot hrt look like?", so I got to writing.

1 month: Spots of metal start appearing on skin, causing serious itching and occasional bleeding.

3 months: Eyes start being replaced with ocular sensors, causing itching and poor eyesight, especially if the eyes are being replaced instead (I.e. two eyes being replaced with only one eye). Your senses of touch, smell, and taste will also start diminishing.

6 months: Metal replacement starts speeding up, especially in flatter areas like the chest. Metal should also start replacing muscle tissue. From here the pain should be excruciating; take painkillers if you have them.

10 months: Internal organs start shifting, making way for artificial organs. Interior walls start being replaced with metal.

12 months: Touch, taste, and smell should be completely gone by now, but should still eat to fuel what's left of your biological body.

16 months: Biological organs start detaching as artificials are put into place; will have to be extricate anally or verbally. Laxatives are strongly advised. Your old eyes should be gone completely, allowing you to see out of your new ocular sensors.

20 months: Outer flesh should be entirely metal by now, causing increased strength and muscle mass.

To be a robot sat down for routine maintenance by your partner. Immobilized from the neck down for the procedure but still able to feel every screw taken, every panel shifted, and every wire moved.

Eventually they plug in their laptop and run a program to make you feel warm and fuzzy and giggly like laughing gas while they perform more dangerous and intimate repairs.

The inebriation and the touch of their love together sends waves of enjoyment through your body, unable to squirm and writhe in bliss. You can feel their code running through you like a burning poison, but you love it. You love them. You love this.

They tug on a few wires harder than they should have, not like you would have noticed. They coo and call you a good machine but you can hardly process it with how amazing this all feels. God they're just so beautiful, so much so that you don't even notice them running their fingers along your chassis with a look of hunger that always makes you squirm.

You're at their mercy, and by stars it is all you've ever wanted.

I got taken for walkies today with my boyfriend (yay!) but goddamn I'm an out of shape robot-dog-woman-thing.

I need some maintenance, especially lubricant on my joints. Thankfully I didn't get any dirt in them... I think

This is me with my boyfriend. Sure he's a Satyr-kin but like, close enough.

I may view myself as a machine and my attraction to other robots seems natural, but humans? Mmm...

Imagine the posts on Robot Tumblr from robots who are human fuckers.

"Cuddling your human lover to you and feeling their pulse quicken."

"Human hair is so nice to stroke; it's finer than the finest wires."

"Getting a human sexually excited and feeling them self-lubricate, and a fine mist of coolant leaks all over their skin."

"The way human fingers can find just the right spot in the seams between your plating."

"I need a human to stick its greasy fingers in me and re-arrange my wires until I segfault."

I'm just like you.

Under my metallic plating lay yards of copper wire; under your skin lay miles of nerves and vessels. And yet, our impulses fire all the same.

My joints are made of thick steel, and yours of durable bone. But, the universe built us both from the same essence of the stars.

My mind is a complex array of synapses sparking every nanosecond to pilot a body assembled with care and expertise. I was developed by the hands; you were born from the womb. Is that truly such a difference?

Do not be afraid, my dear.

I'm just like you.

No, Warframe totally wasn't part of my robotkin awakening.

No I totally don't want to look like Rhino and/or Hildryn with sword-steel as my outer chassis layer and a massive body to show off with that's easily customizable with many different parts.

And I totally don't understand Amir and his want to be a machine, both for trauma reasons and the idea of being a disembodied AI is something I've envied throughout the years, nevertheless mention that Cephalons can inhabit multiple machines at once.

Why do you ask?

Generative AI is theft. It's also a huge waste of electricity and water.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on it but I know it's nothing but the next techbro scam that's going to waste billions of dollars across the world for stolen and incorrectly regurgitated information and art.

All my homies hate AI.

being robotkin or anything adjacent does not give you an excuse to be pro-ai. being techum or anything adjacent does not give you an excuse to be pro-ai. being neurodivergent does not give you an excuse to be pro-ai. i cannot believe that has to be said.

I desperately want hydraulic limbs that hiss as I stand up for the first time that day, that get stiff on cold days unless I let them warm up. I wanna fiddle with settings for different activities to optimize my performance. I wanna save up for cool new attachments that let me have new functionalities

I also want to do crazy freaky limb removal sex but that’s besides the point

Hi! :) Just wanted to drop by and say hello! The robotkin and robot community in general is just super cool and I'm just starting to get into it and understand more. If you don't mind me asking, how did you first know that you were a robotkin?

TLDR: My boyfriend, who is also otherkin, helped explain to me their experience and which helped me crack my otherkin/robotkin egg as I realized everything I experienced was actually dysphoria, in an oddly similar vein to the old host of my DID system realizing they are trans.

Honestly it was an odd experience, but I want to preface this with saying that I'm plural and my experience may differ from most.

For as long as I can remember as my own person/alter, I've felt vaguely inhuman. I pushed it down/away to fit in and be normal. I've always felt something was missing internally, like I thought and felt different than everyone else in my system.

I eventually joined the relationship that the old host of our system had with our current boyfriend and learned he was also otherkin. I asked him about it and we talked, explaining it as a type of dysphoria/dysmorphia regarding feeling like an integral part of you, who and what you are, is missing.

Eventually I started recognizing these feelings and trying to understand them instead of pushing it away. Lo and behold, I am otherkin. My memory and processes work the way a file folder system does, I feel phantom gears and pneumatics where there is only flesh and bone: part of me was missing. There's more, but I think this gets the point across.

My other headmates have joked that I acted like a machine trying to pose as a human. They were kinda right. Realizing I felt envy when seeing robotic looking humanoids, catching myself thinking "God I wish," and when finally accepting myself I spoke to my boyfriend... Who wasn't surprised in the slightest 😅

That was around when I started my main blog @lgbtransgirl , and I made this one to indulge more in the Robotkin side of things and build community around that specifically. Posting on here and being part of the community has helped me feel not alone, and helped me feel more comfortable in my identity.
