From time to time I remember my childhood fantasies about my favourite TV series. Samurai Jack had a particular impact on my perception. This series made me interested in Japan. And because of that, I had a lot of questions about the series. So the little me came up with my own version of what happened to teenage Jack. I was very interested in how he was able to preserve that kindness and naivety, being surrounded by enemies from everywhere, not just allies. And today, I finally drew his first sketches for my strange headcanon. I don't know when I will be able to return to this stream of thought again. But I am relieved that they are no longer just in my head

I started rewatching Samurai Jack. So I wanted to draw characters from the series. I rarely draw men 😅, that's why I decided to start with something simpler for myself. And here’s Ashi’s first sketch. She's pretty, I think 🙃

One day I just sat down and thought "hey wouldn't it be very cool if I turned one of my favorite characters ever into a Hollow Knight character? And I took it I fucking took it. So, here it is! Scaramouche if he was in Hollow Knight! He's based off of the small tortoiseshell butterfly and as that little scribble on the right says, he's an assassin because well, that's literally just his job. Anyhoo, I'm out!
