It had all started when Bakugo had gotten his quirk. Showing it off with a grin. Everyone praising him. It made sense that Izuku would be jealous. He was showing no signs of getting a quirk and soon it would be too late for one to manifest. He wanted to be praised too. He wanted to be a hero, just as much as Bakugo did. It wasn’t fair.
At first, Izuku had cried, wondering why he wouldn’t manifest his quirk. But his tears quickly turned to burning anger and simmering jealously. The world ignored the quirkless but Izuku didn’t want to be ignored.

Bakugo nervously walked towards his classroom for the very first time. With any luck, Izuku wouldn’t be in his class, and they would never see each other again. It was a shame that he never had good luck. He peeked his head in cautiously and surveyed the room, cringing when he saw a familiar mop of green hair.
Izuku was sitting with his feet on top of his desk and was getting reprimanded by a stiff-looking boy with blue-ish hair and glasses.
“You are disrespecting school property,” the bespectacled boy said, chopping his arm in the air as if to make a point. Izuku was looking at him with a frown. Bakugo sighed. If he tried hard enough, then he could sneak to a seat before Izuku noticed his presence. he would get a few moments of peace until the teacher did roll call.
bakugou has a tiktok account where he bakes or cooks but the only thing that’s shown are his hands— nobody knows that it’s him behind the screen.
he bakes or cooks late at night, when he comes home from missions and the sights that he’s seen keep him up for longer than he’d like. the hum of his whisk or his food processor provide him solace and escape from his blood stained thoughts. the scrape of bakugou’s knife against a perfectly cooked and crisp pork katsu soothes the night demons tormenting his soul with screams from the people he couldn’t save.
in his videos, katsuki always serves up two plates, two hearty portions and a lot of his viewers like to think that he does it for them— so that they have someone to eat with, to share a meal with late at night when they can’t sleep either. that’s true, for the most part. but more often than not, katsuki bakugou shares out another plate because he knows that you’ll wake up and join him so that he doesn’t have to be alone.
and if you watch his videos closely enough, you can see arms wrapping around him from behind— the glint of your silver wedding band firm against his mid section, letting katsuki know you’re here for him too.
