starts pointing aggressively at the Demon Hunter series "WAIT A FREAKING MINUTEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"
In all seriousness, though, there is also a thrill for people who take the time to listen and watch all the lore. It makes things so much more exciting for me when I hear it referenced in a future piece of work, and again provides me with a better idea of how it all ties together.
It's also exciting to hear, because the first time I listened to this, everything was still pretty much flying over my head- now I'm over here like, "wait a minute was that-???"
Also I'm just a huge nerd when it comes to references, they're one of my favorite things to spot in movies or TV series.
So thank you for putting all this time and effort into your world-building, it's so freaking awesome to listen to.
BUT THEN THIS LEAVES ME WITH A QUESTION-
If I'm right and not completely delusional/crazy (I am) and it is a reference to Demon Hunter, what the heck did Bard do???? Father Light and Hunter were like deities, they had a ton of power, so I get why Creed would be invoking them- but Bard?? What- what did Bard do???
"AUGH. Ok, we're done with the Alpha world part of the lore, that chunk was huge... finally know what exactly is going on in this realm though.
"Now what's next..." "..." *shifts into demon cat* "CREED MY BOIIIIIIIIIIIII-"
