I love the fact when I started reading The Hunger Games I was like “I’m going into this book reading it in a sophisticated way though the lens of hating government and stuff” and I left going “wow Katniss and Peeta are the perfect couple, their understanding of what the other thinks and wants is so sweet. Oh and the government sucks too!”

I’m not going to lie to you when I say that Peeta is 100% Aromatic in my mind. I have no doubts. I was shocked to find no one else believed this. The only person he’s ever had romantic feelings for is Katniss because he’s aromatic. Like no straight person is like “yeah the only person I’ve ever had a crush on is this one single girl” like sir it’s because your on the aromatic spectrum. With him there’s not doubt. I’m a bit iffy on Katniss but she’s definitely ase and I love that for them. They are my favourite Aro/Ace couple. They have my whole heart, I don’t understand how people could not love them. Peeta is a bit odd in the first book but my love for him was confirmed in the second. Don’t really love him in the third but do constantly feel bad for him.

Mini Rant about Peeta's nightmares:

When he explains his nightmare to Katniss, he tells her they're mostly about her and he's okay when he knows she's safe. I don't believe him. Based on his paintings, I think his nightmares are a lot more often like hers than he lets on But Katniss completely bases her self worth on how much she can provide for others. SO I think Peeta tells one lie in the moment to tell the bigger truth: Her existence is enough.

Willow is still silly and can sleep anywhere but that’s from being basically nocturnal

Willow and Paul silver are still 5years apart but there’s only 1 year between Paul and Jolene Pearl

Paul Silver usually goes by Paul or Paul silver if you want to be fancy but Jolene Pearl almost exclusively goes by Pearl

Personality’s

Willow: her heads in the clouds, her favorite word is “what?”. Silly and likes to make jokes and will explain things using references to tv and video games. If Star Trek survived she would be a HUGE Star Trek fan. Made the poor decision of deciding to study chemistry and mechanical engineering. Is good at it but it made her already bad sleep schedule worse. Scared of spiders and most wildlife. Forever the shortest at 5’4 max. Closest with her dad.

Paul: LOVES NATURE. Is the most talkative of the three but can’t lie for shit and was always the first to crack under pressure. Now is a combination of Huey and Webby. Always an optimist and usually has the knowledge to back it up. Want to work in forestry in 12. Katniss is his troop leader. Always has a backpack(not pictured above) that somehow has everything you need no matter how strange. Love’s history and art as well. The tallest at 6’1 and is taller than Peeta. Closest with his mom

Pearl: is the only allistic of the three. Really sassy and always has a good comeback. Resting bitch face + her mother’s scowl. The most combative and angry, she is the bully’s bully. Loves talking about fashion and makeup with Effie but is actually closest to her pawpaw Haymitch. Is in ballet, does theatre, and opera. She has the best singing voice and the best at designing and frosting cakes. Gets to be 6’0 also taller than Peeta.

All three: have skill in art from painting with dad. Have at least 4 baking recipes memorized. Can shoot a bow and arrow but skill varies(Pearl is the best). Will make fun of each other mercilessly.

So I really like the popular fanon of the hunger games being a memoir that Katniss wrote and published. But recently I came across an analysis here on tumblr (don’t remember by who) about how Katniss writing and publishing the hunger games is out of character for canon Katniss. That got me thinking about how in the real world people close to and especially the children or parents of a famous person will write or edit a diary of a loved one after they have died.

So here’s the idea what if Katniss wrote down her experiences in a journal in order to process her trauma perhaps around the time of the epilogue. Fast forward years into the future and Katniss and Peeta have died of old age, while going through all their parents stuff the toast babies find the journals and decide to read them.

Together they would publish the journals maybe as a way to preserve their parents story or their might be some misleading rumors they want to stop. Ether way the toast babies publish the books and Katniss stays in character.

Peeta is done! Here they are together! I literally never draw men so this was a challenge.

Can anyone help find this everlark fanfic

It’s basically an everlark ao3 post-mocking jay and how they repair their relationship. In the summary description, it explains how Peeta grins while moving fire wood or something like that. And in the first chapter, katniss heads over Peeta’s house first due to her nightmares and she ends up sleeping on the couch while he sleeps on the floor next to her. Im sorry, my description might suck but plsss help. Also it’s multiple chapters and Effie becomes like the rebuilding manager for district 12 while thinking about making Peeta the architect. And Peeta tells a story to a whole bunch of young kids that basically are visiting district 12 to rebuild it, about finnick and him being apart of the sea. And delly Cartwright, is pretty close with katniss and lays down in the meadow with her one day, and asks her about what does the wind do or something like that. If you can’t help, i understand! Thankyouuu

Last Thursday I received a white rose from the principal in my school in celebration of my graduation and now that is dying I’m gonna put it in my copy of the hunger games

I need help finding a everlark fanfic on ao3,what I remember is that peeta goes to the capital on his birthday,his family gets executed but he has a newborn niece called Lucy,she’s hidden in the oven and when the town’s people get to the forest to run away katniss takes her and starts caring for her and then katniss gets in contact with peeta but they have to talk in code so she calls Lucy little bun or something like that,I know that they end meeting in D13 pls I really need to find this.

This might already have a answer but anyway I just started the first book of THG and Katniss says that the speech is like all bad things that happens before the dark day being climate related so I understood that it happened in the whole world and how after that there was panem so does that mean that panem is the last standing country on the world or did global communication just ended?
