tl:dr: my life is angsty therefore my writing is angsty + most of the receiving end have been shijima & mitsuba. yay!

i’ve genuinely been writing so much angst over the past week it’s insane. like all my story prompts that i plan to write have this one turning point, a switch, a turn in the road, where the story turns just a littleee dark and then there’s just perfect opportunities for angst.

and i also realize it’s a metaphor for my life getting worse day by day (because it has lmao) but at the very least i get to write some juicy angst out of it!! yay!!

as for now, my mitsuba & shijima angst stays in the drafts.

my platonic shijimitsu headcanon will live on!!! in my head!!!!!! (for now <3)

Writing Status Update + Voting Poll

Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you're doing well!

And also I apologize that this is not an update on any of my stories!🤣Sorry to burst your bubble!

But anyway, I'm here to announce my plan for the upcoming months.

Unfortunately, I will be on a temporary Hiatus for the next few months as I'm being boarded into a new course because of my job. So I wanted to put all my focus on it for now.

But I will still find the time to write as much as possible while still on course.

Once I'm done with my course, I will update all my stories as much as I can if my life after that won't be chaotic since there is a chance that I might move because of my job.

Oh and Also I'm planning to write up my own Novel/Book, so it gonna be chaotic as hell.

But anyway, I'll try my best to write up the next chapters of my stories.

And while at it I want to make a voting poll on which stories you guys want me to update on once I'm back.

Please don't hold back to let me know what you want!😘 And I'm really terribly sorry that I have been slow in updating my stories. Life is just so damn unpredictable.😭

Writing Snippet #2

Ivory kept silent, a hair’s breadth away, but for Esther it must have been miles. Miles of restraints and secrets and those insufferable loyalties, the roles Ivory upheld, honor bound. She had seen her unleashed, the wild, selfish recklessness, trembling hands, and quiet, sweet whispers in the late hours all wound up tight now.

I'm so tired. I've been coding and writing for the past 9 hours, only stopping to drink or stretch. But it was worth it. I'm so happy with what I've accomplished today. 😌

Chapter 1 progress

writing: about 30% (I have everything planned out on my notes, how it goes, how it ends, etc…I just need to write it all down ✍️)

coding: 10% too many variables and we are only on chapter one—

editing: 0% I’m already stressing about it…

although today was not a productive writing day, I'm happy to report that the prologue is mostly completed on Twine.

BUT my plan is to release the Twine version along with chapter one altogether.

I'm optimistic that tomorrow will be a better day for writing. :)

I'm sorry for the lack of updates for a week. I've been fully immersed in writing and taking breaks as needed, but my sole focus has been on writing. I hope it all pays off in the end!

I love how I wrote too many scenes, but now I need to edit them down and organize them into other chapters. Just what I needed more work for future me. :)

I just wanted to pop in with a quick writing update. I'm happy to report that everything's going smoothly, and I've already managed to write around 1k words today. I'm still going strong and my aim is to complete two more scenes.

Hello hello! Sorry for not being active today, but that's because I'm focusing on writing chapter 1 and also moving the prologue to twine.

I am continuing to work on Every Hero Needs a Villain and I am super happy to announce that I'm actually making great progress when it comes to both hero and villain descriptions. Each category has six, with each hero having a villain and vice versa. I hope I've gotten a good spattering of personalities for people to enjoy this way.

Here's a snippet from Straight Shooter's, a cowboy object head:

He can inspire a state of restfulness depending on the color of his scarf. Red is for physical restfulness, purple is mental restfulness, blue is emotional restfulness, green is spiritual restfulness, yellow is instinct restfulness, and sometimes he has a rare rainbow of all these colors. Yet, to do so, he too must also achieve this restfulness for himself.

Writing update 5/8/2025

It's time for another writing update. Still working on Every Hero Needs a Villain, my object head project. I'm making my way through the character bios. I am trying to just get the basics down, then I'll go over them again and add more personality. Here's Spark's description, because I thought it was cute:

They have a gently yellow and ruffled lamp shade with a lighter and brighter light bulb on their head. They typically wear a skirt that matches paired with a lighter blouse or suit top. Their clothes typically having a shimmering or glittery component to them. They sometimes wear different lamp shades for different effects, having a particular fondness for colorful glass lamp shades for special events, or cloth dotted lamp shades when they're feeling cute. Sometimes they don't even wear a lamp shade for emphasis.

I definitely want to edit it for readability, but so far so good! I hope to have all the bios down by the end of the week, and will notify y'all on Sunday if this is the case.

Did I start a new story and get way too invested?

Hell yeah!

I just made an actual schedule for what writing projects I should focus on each day for the next week. So that way I can hopefully make progress on my fic and on revising poems for my slam team at the same time. We’ll see if the adhd cooperates.
